Loved it! The food was so good, fresh and well made. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We came in at an odd hour, midway between lunch and dinner and had we were warmly greeted and enjoyed a relaxed, delicious lunch. Varied menu. Plenty of vegetarian choices. The restaurant is small with booths and tables. Accessible. Parking nearby (paid).

Great service and surprisingly good food. We went for lunch and enjoyed our meal. Lunch special is good value. The egg drop soup was on point for the cold day.

Such a delicious experience! We got the Sesame shrimp and Pepper steak for the lunch special ($15 for entree, soup, rice, side salad! Amazing value, cannot believe it’s not more packed) and the Hunan duck special as well. Everything was delightful - the shrimp was perfectly light and crisp, the skin on the duck was crispy to perfection and the veggies were all so flavorful. Staff was attentive and sweet. This spot is definitely worth the trip at any time of day, but the $15 lunch special is truly a value you cannot find anywhere else.

the food is delicious and i have celiac (gluten free) and they were able to accommodate super easily as there are many options labelled on the menu. will definitely come here again

This is a typical Chinese takeout place with all the familiar dishes and lunch menu items at a typically fair price. Staff is friendly. I wish there wasn't a 10 dollar minimum for credit cards (who carries cash?) but that's not their fault. Food is exactly what you'd expect if you've ever had "hole in the wall" takeout before.

The best Hot & Sour soup on the planet. Warm you right ip on a cold day like today.

Some of the best sushi I've ever had... and I've eaten at A LOT of sushi places over the years all over the country. Don't let the fact they use brown rice throw you off, it's incredible. Everything we ordered was fantastic and I would order again. Highly recommend.

I gave Sogo Sushi 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I went out for sushi last night, and a guy spilled a whole bottle of soy sauce on himself!! Everyone laughed except me. - Don‘t "Kikkoman" when he’s down 😅 Keep reading for my review 👇 Pros: • Brown rice sushi is a game-changer - healthier option without sacrificing flavor! • Rolls are creative and tasty • Friendly service Cons: • Yeah, the decor might be a little stuck in the past, but if you're a brown rice sushi lover like me, it's worth checking out if you're in the area! Overall, it was a nice experience at Sogo Sushi! The brown rice sushi and creative rolls were standouts, and the friendly service made for a pleasant visit. Follow me on Google for more ❤️

I loved the atmosphere. They have such a huge potential to become the “hot spot” especially for weekends. I wonder if they do live music or anything similar ? I was shocked by the huge space they have ! Servers were really nice. I was greeted with some pita bread and olives:) Only thing that disappointed me was the Gyro. It was very dry, meat was served cold 🤷‍♀️ I’ll definitely give it another chance and try their other food options

Greek Spot at Red Bank is a great restaurant. Whenever you have the urge for some wholesome Greek cuisine, head to the Greek Spot. The chef does a phenomenal job preparing authentic Greek dishes. Everything was delicious. I ordered a small take out order. My order consisted of: 1 - House Salad, 1 - Pita, 1 - Spanikopitakia, and 1 - Greek Fries with cheese. The price was impressive. Most importantly, the seasoning was on point. Greek Spot’s staff was warm and friendly. Furthermore, the staff was knowledgeable and eager to assist me with my menu item selections. If you decide to dine in, you won’t be disappointed by the overall ambiance of the second floor. This restaurant is as Greek as it gets. Check it out and tell your friends about it. Blessings!

Great little Chinese food stop. Awesome takeout experience, or you can sit and eat in. Food is made to order, not buffet style. It also tases delicious and has generous portion sizes. This place has become Our new quick Chinese food spot.

Wanted to like this place because very convenient. However our “fried rice” was just brown rice with no veggies and it tasted old (as in far past the “best by date on package). The texture of the chicken (with broccoli) was slimy and un-firm. Sadly the toilet was broken and there were flies in the dining room. Very nice people and quick service but we will not return.

Great Thai restaurant, delicious food, kind service, some of the best Pad Thai! The price seems fair for a restaurant in redbank. Good location, right in the heart of downtown redbank. Outdoor dining is a nice touch especially during the pandemic. I highly recommend!

Had lunch with family, salmon entree was no good at first bite, we can tell right away that the salmon was spoiled and tastes very fishy. Ended up ordering vegetable fried rice to be on the safe side. The manager or owner or whoever he was with the negative energy didn’t even bother to show his concern. He wasn’t friendly at all, more of a matter of fact attitude. The only good thing was our Thai Ice Tea. We also ordered chicken fried rice which was a safe dish for the kids. The managers negative energy made the atmosphere not so friendly. His customer service was trash!!! But don’t worry about it because that was a one and done visit. I promise you I’ve eaten at great Thai restaurants and the prices matched the great food and service. Noooooope not this one so yeah I’m putting them on BLAST. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!

I really enjoyed my experiences here. The food came out quickly and I’ve been here twice now. I got the Pad Thai the first time and the Curry Fried Rice the next. I’ve also had the Thai Coffee and Thai Iced Tea. Everything tasted great and the ingredients tasted fresh. There are no lunch specials, but if you want quality it’s worth the trip! The restaurant is Family run and the owners sister (who served me) was very kind to me.

Definitely one of the best Tomyum Soup I’ve had. Tomyum with shrimp! The fried rice and chicken were soo good too!

Good quality and great taste! We dinned upstairs tonight. The O-Toro and O-Toro with caviar were delicious. We started with the Sashimi appetizer and it was so fresh. The sauces they provide were good. I suggest you order fresh ginger and fresh wasabi with any sushi. We had the spicy O-Toro roll, Sea Bright Roll, and mushroom salad. There isn’t a kids menu. We enjoyed and would return. I would recommend this place.

Everything about this spot is solid. Fish was all fresh, portions were generous. Great selection of options at reasonable prices. Love that it's BYO. Staff are all friendly and helpful. The upstairs room is unfussy, I appreciate that they didn't overcrowd the room with tables. Overall a solid value oriented sushi experience, I'll definitely be back.

Muang Thai Restaurant

The Penang curry is one of their best items along with Pad Thai. The red curry (vegetarian version) was okay. The Tom Kha (coconut milk) and Tom Yum soups were very good. For the price, I thought the spring rolls were tiny. The Thai basil fried rice was absolutely bland at medium spice surprisingly. The restaurant is gorgeous and the food overall was very good. Was it worth the price? No, especially when you finished the quantity. There are similarly good Thai restaurants at lower prices though maybe not easy to find in Jersey. Muang Thai is an attempt to be fine dining which it achieves through the food and ambience but not service. Be warned the jump in heat from medium to spicy is 2-3x the usual expectation and can get quite hot. Sadly, I will corroborate what most others are saying about the service here - they have a holier than thou attitude and are visibility piqued when you ask for clarification or adjustments as though there is a lack of comprehension or surprise for the need.

A big 4 1/2 stars for Muang Thai restaurant. Went here on a recommendation and was pleasantly surprised. So much decoration everywhere it took us a while to order since we were caught up in looking at everything. The menu is quite large, so have an idea of what you are looking for. The Chicken Satay appetizer was amazing followed by this delicious little ginger salad. The Red Curry Chicken was very good and the Tom Yum Noodles with beef was a large portion but lacked in flavor and the peanuts were chopped a little too small making the noodles a bit gritty. The service was a little slow and I don't understand why waiters don't remove the plates from the first course before bringing the second course... IDK. All in all it's a fine place to go so check it out.

Very pleased with the food and service here. Not from the area but a friend brought us after an event. Honestly I'm still here eating as much as I can still fit into my belly but just had to leave a review...ok let's get to it...walked in and we're greeted with a smile. Christopher was a great listener because he heard what my fiance wanted to drink as where I didn't and I was standing right there...burgers were seasoned well and cooked to perfection. I had the original medium well (don't judge) my guy had the southwest and was very pleased...we got our combos with both curly fries and tots again perfection with seasoning and crunch...very happy we came

Hidden gem!!! Food is AMAZING!!! French fries are crispy and fresh!! Sliders are the BEST I EVER HAD!! I am a chef and I was just on a regular day out and stopped in, ordered the southwest and 3 pepper bacon sliders with fries and it was flavorful, juicy, and cooked to perfection!! 10 out of 10 The staff were very helpful and kind, food was even brought to our table. Great service I share this because I don’t gate keep.

The Bistro at Red Bank offers an eclectic menu that caters to a variety of tastes. Their steak is cooked to perfection, delivering a rich and flavorful experience. The pasta dishes are equally impressive, showcasing fresh ingredients and expert preparation. The artichoke appetizer is a standout, offering a delightful start to the meal. The service is attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The BYOB policy allows guests to pair their meals with their favorite beverages. The open kitchen, brick oven, and sushi bar add to the restaurant's unique ambiance. Located in the heart of downtown Red Bank, it's a convenient spot for both locals and visitors. Whether you're in the mood for a classic dish or something more adventurous, The Bistro at Red Bank has something for everyone.

During my recent trip to New York, I had the pleasure of dining at Red Bank Bistro, and I must say the food was absolutely delicious! I was impressed not only by the presentation but also by the exceptional service. Our waiter was incredibly kind and even offered us a lovely spot on the terrace, which added to the experience. The crackling calamari salad was a standout—delicious and perfectly prepared. The poke bowl was incredibly fresh, the burger was cooked to perfection, and the salmon... I have no words, it was simply divine. To finish, the dessert was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. I highly recommend Red Bank Bistro and look forward to visiting again soon. Keep up the great work!
