I often find I don't love Italian food because it's too rich without any contrast. Let me tell you, they did a great job in proving it can be done well. I had the scallops with a blood orange sauce and lemon rosemary risotto and green beans. Everything together was perfectly balanced. The risotto was surprisingly light and contrasted well with the sweetness and richness of the scallops and blood orange sauce and the green beans, something I normally don't enjoy, were an excellent earthy undertone. It's expensive for sure but as a foodie it was 100% worth the money.

We really enjoyed all of our food! Standouts were the meatball appetizer and the carrot cake. They are BYOB. My sister in law had to make a reservation a month ahead for the Saturday of Mother’s Day weekend. It was very packed. There are a lot of tables though. White table cloths and attentive service. Upscale place. Lots of imagery of bicycles, I guess that makes sense since name of restaurant means “bikes.” Apps are all around $17 and mains around $40. Not everything is worth that price. There used to be a lobster dish that my family was raving about but not on the menu anymore, probably because of high lobster prices. I got the monk fish special for $39. Not worth it, 3 small “medallions” of fish in a very basic bland sauce with tomatoes and carrots. The description said there would be fingerling potatoes (as the second ingredient) so I imagined a heaping serving of potatoes on the side swimming in yummy sauce with fish but there were only 2 pieces of potato. The meatballs were amazing. Great flavor and super moist. 2 meatballs in the app. Carrot cake also very good, a decent slice and those candied nuts on the top added a nice crunch and sweetness. Desserts are $12. Bill came to over $500 for tax and tip for 8 people. I also liked the fried oysters which was on the specials for the day. A decent amount of oysters and they were perfectly fried. They also give complimentary focaccia bread that’s very good and fresh and the olive oil is good as well. It’s a nice environment, def nice for a special event. A little over priced. Mostly good food. They have won a lot of awards and owner seemed very nice and friendly. I also saw that they have been sponsors for the Ramsey farmers market for many years so that’s good to see.

I've heard this is one of the best Asian places in the anoka Ramsey area so I was looking forward to finally trying it out. Unfortunately my experience is not what other may have had. I only ordered the Pho soup which is normally a delicious dish. My meal came with very little meat and there was only 2 meatballs and some beef. Pho soup normally comes with tendon, steak, tripe and brisket as well. If any of these meat were included they were not visible at all. The noodles had a different consistency than most rice noodles but maybe that's because I didn't mix it in the broth until I got home 10 minutes after picking it up. Overall it was mediocre at best. I will definitely go back and try other dishes and when I do I'll be quick to update my review and include any positive experiences. The service was great but I wish I could say the same thing about the food. Maybe next time!

Overall experience 4.5 out of 5. To go out review. Doing a breakdown the atmosphere was clean. The tables are clean from what I can see. I did a to go order, so I did not use the bathrooms but from that perspective, it look great. Service, very friendly staff were happy to chat with me and treat me as a customer not it’s just someone picking up and order and going home. Food. I thought the food was good no complaints there, the portion was a little less than average. So here’s why it only got 4.5. Their website price is not reflecting the current price that they just changed it. I was a little surprised at the price of $18 for a sweet-and-sour chicken with fried rice. The waitress/ hostess informed me about it when I picked up the food.

Nothing like going home to find an inch and a half piece of plastic in your food. Asked for a refund on that part of our order as it's not edible at this point and was offered to have it remade, no thanks! I just thought I'd make sure others know to look carefully!

Teriyaki chicken skewers are fantastic and hotter than the asphalt in July. And I got 3 fortunes in my cookie.

So I come here often. I get the singapore mei fun with garlic sauce no shrimp. Chicken wings , white rice , beef and broccoli in spicy garlic sauce .. EVERYTHING IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The service is superb. I can appreciate they work as a family.

I don’t understand what the fuss is all about with the low ratings. I experienced the opposite. I went during lunch time and didn’t call in the order or place one online, just to see what issues were there with service. I went during lunch rush around 12pm. I arrived along with my coworker. Look through the menu and placed my order with tbe lady working the counter. I didn’t get any sass or rudeness, she even asked us if we were together or separate, I told them separate. Even took my request to make the General Tso’s chicken crispier with no issues. My coworker ordered beef and broccoli. I noticed that there was a $10 minimum for credit card, so I just told my coworker, I got it, and told the lady to charge them together, even though we originally said that we were separate, without any issue. Got our food, brought it back to work and ate it. Food was fine, I finished it, if it wasn’t good, I don’t finish it. The General Tso’s chicken was a bit heavy with the soy sauce because of the saltiness and was light on the sugar which is suppose to thicken the sauce into a glaze and even out the saltiness, but wasn’t much issue for me to finish my lunch. I got hot and sour soup with my lunch combo and I have to say, is better than most places that I’ve had it at with the perfect amount of tofu, mushrooms and bamboo shoots without it overwhelming the soup. I would take the bad reviews with a grain of salt. I don’t go to a Chinese take out for hospitality and to exchange pleasantries like a higher end restaurant which cost more. I go to a Chinese take out because it’s quick, efficient and satisfying. I can’t wait to go back to try the other dishes. I would also like to add that this is actually one of the better quality Chinese take out joints. The other place would the be the casual sit down dining Chinese Restaurant right off 17 North by the Kohl’s and Five Guys called Look See.

Grand Buffet

Stopped in for a takeout lunch today. $7.99/lb all mixed food. Some items were on point, the crab Rangoon, bbq chicken, thai shrimp, salt and pepper ribs, onion rings, stuffed clams. The calamari was awful, maybe restaurant depot? The items that were not up to par were the boneless spare ribs, sushi, beef and onions, and steamed shumai. They did have a large selection. I guess you just have to know what to get.

I love this place. I've been going here once a week for 4 years. It's the best food I've ever eaten in a buffet style restaurant. I eat lunch here, but my wife likes seafood, so I take her for dinner which is more expensive as seafood is costlier. The staff is very friendly and hard working. The owner is very nice and is always there. There is a norovirus around North Jersey at the moment, so many people get sick in the stomach and think its food poisoning. I've noticed many negative reviews have one review and are likely competing businesses losing customers to this successful buffet. This is the very best Chinese buffet I have ever gone too. I'm a perfectionist and a bit of a fault finder. I just don't think it's possible to run a better buffet restaurant than this one.

Gao Thai Kitchen

Since we are avid Thai food fans, we were on a quest like Don Quixote. I read the google tea leaves and we ended up here. Spot on, flavors galore. No doubt this should be your next stop. Staff was lovely, place was clean, platings were beautiful. We will be back. 🤗👍👍

We ate at this place because the restaurant that we wanted to go to had an hour and a half waiting time, in the middle of a thunderstorm, so we had to settle for less. Looking through the windows I didn't think it was an authentic Thai restaurant, but more of the kind that caters to Western palates. Sure enough, both the Som Tum Thai (papaya salad) and the Pad Kee Mao were quite bland. I was especially unimpressed with their substitution of ingredients: e.g. instead of the long string beans, they used normal green beans (much cheaper, too soft for the bite, and the wrong taste), while the usual bamboo shoots etc were all missing. When my husband ordered the Thai Jungle stir fry with shrimp, the waitress asked if he could handle level 4 spiciness ... what spiciness? It was barely a level 2 for our preference. The only redeeming quality of that dish was the generous amount of large shrimps ... worth the price they charge I guess. Service was impeccable, and it was definitely popular with the local crowd, as the take-out orders were pouring in. It may be good enough for people unfamiliar with Southeast Asian cuisines, but it certainly came short for this family of world travelers!

Best Chinese food in Ramsey. Excellent customer service, food—the whole kit and caboodle. Seriously, they always get my order right, and I’ve tried other Chinese restaurants nearby, and their dumplings and pork fried rice does not compare.

This restaurant has really good food they give you a large portion size. The food is very tasty. The restaurant is nice and clean and the staff are very friendly … it’s located on a main road so parking could be tricky but other than that five stars. I believe they’re closed on Mondays.

Ramsey Chinese Restaurant

Ramsey Chinese is the best Chinese food there is! We’ve been loyal customers for 20 years, it’s our regular spot. Have tried cold sesame noodles everywhere and these are the best in the biz if you like a very thick peanut sauce. Their sauces in general are on the thicker, more flavorful and sweet side. Excellent steamed pork dumplings, sesame and General Tso’s chicken, pork and shrimp dishes, beef and broccoli. So grateful for this establishment!

Been a patron here for 20+ years and it's our favorite Chinese delivery around. The selection of dishes is the standard Chinese/Chinese American cuisine offerings (at least for the NJ/NY area) and we enjoy all of the dishes. If you are looking for solid Chinese take out or delivery you won't be disappointed. Very fair prices. Reflecting on other reviews, we don't get any breaded foods so I can't speak to those menu options. Lots of vegetarian options. Throughout our entire time patronizing Ramsey Chinese, the staff have always been friendly and professional, are always quick and always get our orders right.

Look see

Look See is currently my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area and has been consistently ranked as one of the best too! I have been going to Look See for over 30 years with the previous and current owners. I have always been very happy with how good their food always is! >>> Be sure to try their delicious specialties, or you’ll be missing out on their authentic Chinese dishes such as, Chef Wang’s Chicken, Triple Fragrance, Jumbo Shrimp in Ginger & Scallion Sauce, Chef Wang’s Chicken Chinoise, Look See Singapore Mei Fun and many more! Our server the past 3 times eating dinner there has been Lu-Lu and she is such a pleasure to deal with and to talk with. Feel free to asked for her!

When Look See was near the Interstate Shopping Center it was the best Chinese take-out you could ever wish for !!! The shrimp, beef, scallops were perfect. the sauces all tasted homemade and not like dark brown greasy sauces from the older Chinese take-out only places. It was clearly a cut-above the rest. Well then they moved to Kohls shopping center and it was still very good, for a while. I always gave them 5 star reviews. After last night's $300 holiday take-out (no it wasn't crowded), I know their days are numbered. They missed one of our dinners, my specialty dish (which I always get Jumbo Shrimp and Steak Kew) was terrible. The "steak" was black, overcooked, tasteless and tough. the flavor and sauce were lousy. And yes the prices are "insane" for what you get. Triple Fragrance another favorite has gone downhill as well. Do you want to know why you never see any diners inside anymore, I KNOW WHY!!! To top it off all the food was luke-warm at best and I picked it up on time and went right home. Everyone was heating their meals in the microwave. I think many of the dishes and ingredients are being made ahead and and tossed into the plastic dishes. We're done !!!!
