El Aguila Deli & Take Out 0

El Aguila Deli & Take Out

The food was good, but we took a star off for the price and the greasiness. A taco “meal” is 4 tacos, and no sides for $14. Rice beans, chips, etc are all additional cost. The el pastor tacos (pork) were extremely greasy. The sides however were really good, and they do add a lot of flavor to their food which is appreciated.

El Aguila is our new favorite spot for authentic Mexican food! 😋 We had no idea that this hidden gem was a town over from where we live. Before El Aguila, we were driving to Lakehurst for Mexican food. We ordered the Al Pastor tacos. My husband wanted to try the Barbacoa but they were sold out (we ordered an hour before closing). I had the Chile Relleno and my son had the chicken & cheese Quesadillas. I got a Jamaica agua fresco to drink. Everything was delicious! We were also pleasantly surprised by the prices. Our total order came to $86 which was less than $20 per person (family of 4) and the extras we bought (imported Pepsi & Coke from Mexico, the sour cream from Mexico that we've been trying to find in the States). We will definitely be back for more!👍

My grandpa comes here everyday. They love him. His name is Ted! They know his coffee and food order the second he opens that door. They are EXTREMELY friendly. If you want to have a conversation, they’ll have a conversation! If not, silence is comfortable here 🖤 I love it.

Friendly beyond compare with a great menu! Prices are very good. Amazing local dishes and specials, the menu has a lot of character and standouts that made it hard to decide. Portions are generous! It's a place to make friends, made me want to be a regular!

Coming back from the Winery, we needed to stop to eat something before the ride home. We came across Anthony's and figured we would stop for a slice. Sure enough we sat down and had a feast. Plate after plate of food our host kept bringing us courses nonstop. The owners were one of the nicest couple I have ever met. They made the food taste unbelievable. I felt like I was in someone's home. Take the food what it is and just enjoy the good company. Make sure you try their pasta salad. They make it with homemade pesto. I defiantly recommend this place with no hesitations.

We’ve ordered pizza here a few times.. good. Had heard that other dishes they offer were good but i just ordered spaghetti and meatball- and it was horrible.. and its so hard to mess up spaghetti and meatballs. This sauce was tomato paste straight up .. wicked acidic. Meatballs had not much to offer- probably no onion, not bad meat- but sauce AND meatballs needed help - there was certainly no parsley, no basil, no oregano, no garlic and that’s ok- not everybody enjoys like I do- even a drizzle of good olive oil could have improved things. I can make better in 20 minutes with NO effort. This was inedible. Ps. Loved the service, love the desserts, love the location.

There was a dead fly in my rice. They refuse to run the air conditioning in 95 degree weather so I’m sure it wasn’t the first and won’t be the last. We will never go here again.

Dirty and once I saw them touch food with bare hands as they were cooking I said you can cancel order.
