Hoja Asian Fusion
Walking into the restaurant, the rich aroma of spices and citrus was immediately tantalizing. I ordered the orange chicken, a dish I had heard was a crowd favorite, and it did not disappoint. Each bite was a perfect symphony of flavors – the chicken was crispy on the outside, yet tender and juicy within. The sauce was a masterful blend of sweet and tangy, with a hint of garlic and ginger that danced on the palate. The vibrant orange zest shone through, offering a fresh and zesty contrast that elevated the dish beyond the ordinary. It was served piping hot, with the steam carrying the enticing scents that promised and delivered satisfaction. The portion was generous, draped over a bed of fluffy white rice which absorbed the sauce beautifully. This orange chicken was not just a meal; it was a culinary experience that left me eagerly anticipating my next visit.
This food court style restaurant is inside Rutgers campus, there is no service, you take your dish and find a seat. The food was average, mostly individual bowl, good for college students.
