Wish I could give 0 stars. Food was horrible for the weekend buffet we had. Everything was pathetic, cold, looks like it was made a week ago. Service was worst. No one cares or come and asks what you want. For a price of $25 per person, it is worthless. Waste of money

Chand Palace charges gratuity (15%) on 3 or more people. So if u are going there as family of 3 or 4 with kids, forced to pay 15% extra plus additional for credit card transaction. I understand the concern of gratuity in larger group or 4+ people but on 2+ people, seriously!!!! I paid almost $15-$16 extra ( on top of my amount plus taxes). Chand Palace has nice good but they aren’t only nice restaurant in area plus their menu is 90% same every day. Go there if want to pay extra on top of their over priced buffet.

Update: we went for lunch on a Thursday , and the food was not as impressive. Yes, it was half-priced than the food on weekends, but I did not anticipate such a drop in dish selection and flavor. I would avoid coming here on weekdays. Liked a handful of dishes - sesame chicken, samosa, pani puri water, egg masala, paneer methi malai, curd raita. The other chicken appetizer was bad, the broccoli appetizer had huge chunks of semi-cooked broccoli and tasteless potatoes, daal was ok, biryani was unimpressive, veg noodles were nice. Skipped veg entree, saag aaloo, gulab jamuns. Heard the moong dal halwa had an almost liquid consistency, and was too sweet. Even the naans weren't as good :( Leaving the ratings untouched to reflect the weekend experience. ========================= Excellent buffet! But at a steep price of 27.99 on weekends. Remember to request for Naan some time before you get to main course. Depending on crowd, it can take time. But the wait will be worth it. 60% items were excellent. 20% were good, remaining were ok. Mango or other Lassi is additional $5.00 to buffet. It is not included. Appetizers - samosa and spring rolls were excellent, pani poori was OK. Chicken seekh kebab and malai kebab were ok. Chicken majestic was very good. Gobhi manchurian was crispy but ok tasting. Main course - Excellent paneers - paneer khushbudaar (best), paneer matter - sweeter of the 2. Chicken curry and goat Rogan Josh excellent. Didn't try spinach chicken. Aaloo chhole was ok. Chicken Biryani was OK. Didn't try veg biryani. Sweets - mango rabri was good tasting but was all liquid not semi solid like rabri should be, jalebi and gulag jamun were ok. Gulab jamuns were very soft. Jalebi didn't seem fresh, more like getting one from a pre-packaged box.. and this was at 1pm on Saturday - 1 hr after opening. Daal makhani was good but a little sour for my taste. I don't think the tomatoes were cooked well and that caused the unwanted sourness in the daal. I could see the diced tomatoes in the daal. Overall, it's a good buffet. Total items might be counted as 30 including chutneys but at almost 30/person, I feel it is a good novelty buffet than a frequent dining option for me.

I recently dined at Tandoori flames Restaurant and was delighted by the vibrant ambiance that transported me to Indian authentic taste. The service was impeccable, with knowledgeable staff recommending their specialty dishes. The food was exceptional—rich in flavor and perfectly spiced, especially their Paneer tikka and koya Kaju. The service was impeccable, with knowledgeable staff recommending their specialty dishes.the pricing is very reasonable, the quality and portion sizes justified it. Overall,Tandoori Flames Restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience that I would highly recommend to any Food enthusiast.

Amazing first experience at this Indian restaurant! Much better than Moghul Express that is a few miles ahead. The Chili Chicken and Shrimp Hakka Noodles is so tasty with amazing spices! The cook is amazing at this restaurant all of the food had great tasting flavor overall. The quantity of the food was perfect for the price and it’s much more affordable than Moghul. Very caring, friendly and loving service from the staff serving the food.

We went on a Sunday right after they opened, The buffet was excellent very fresh and a good selection. Chili eggplant was delicious. Goat, lamb and chicken were tasty. Excellent biryani rice. Dal and Nan were just okay. Good service as well.

Abdul was an amazing server, he was very friendly and gave my mom and I a wonderful meal, even while busy on Labor Day. I came back, this time with my father, and he was great once again. Highly recommend the restaurant and Abdul as a server. Everyone else is great too. I always have a good time at the restaurant. We’ve started coming as a ritual. :) This time we got the onion coriander dosa, a mango chutney, and ghee pongal.

are Indian friends were incredibly impressed by how Indian this restaurant was lol. this was family friendly, fair and had lots of variet y but tons of food that I couldn't pronounce as you can see in the pictures. it was pretty legit and had good flavors here and there, and is definitely not a 100% vegetarian restaurant, but Great vibes though for family style

Extremely pleasant experience. Food was incredible! We’re from Boston and we can’t find food half this good there. Look forward to coming back next visit!

It is a great place to have food. I must say the taste is very good and delicious. The staff is very friendly and hard working i must say. The veg and non veg options are amazing and have a good variety. The place is very busy and running with orders most of the time but still they people are very nice and there is no compromise on the taste. The only thing is would say is to increase the volume of the place to make it more convenient and ambience friendly. Otherwise it is just great to enjoy food and sweets i would definitely recommend people to go there often.

I had the pleasure of indulging in exceptional Indo-Chinese cuisine. The dishes boasted perfect spice levels, avoiding overpowering flavors. Standouts included the delectable Veg Manchurian, flavorful noodles, expertly stir-fried vegetables, and savory fried rice. Truly, a culinary experience that left me speechless.

I’m sitting here right now writing this because it couldn’t wait. Amazing food. One of the best Vindaloo I’ve had outside of Delhi. Spice was just right. Service was great and friendly. Food was all amazing. Now if they has Jalebi I’d eat here every night. 😉

I visit this place at least once a month. A nice twist to a traditional hotpot restaurant. Fresh food. Great staff. Great price and portions. A fraction of the price you would pay if you were in Flushing Queens at any of the numerous hotpot locations. As for the review regarding sangria... You expect wine glasses in an establishment that does NOT offer alcohol. You can BYOB to any restaurant in NJ unless posted otherwise. This includes Five Guys but you don't expect Five Guys to have wine glasses do you? You must never have been to a Korean BBQ or hot pot. All the team members wait on every table. They pool the tips. They all assist each other. You can flag down any of them and they will assist. Hotpot/Korean BBQ is a different style of dining. I am surprised that you didn't complain that you had to cook your own food.

Couple things to mention. No reservations taken whatsoever so plan accordingly. And it’s a BYOB so bring an adult beverage if you wish. Reminder: your party has a 2 hour table limit. Because of its all you can eat nature, the entire table has to order the same level of meal (just BBQ, just hot pot or combo of both) combo of both is $37 FYI. They are not helpful at all with the menu, do some research before hand and be prepared to reel off what you want to try first including what broth you want for your hot pot. They’ll click your order on iPad and the food is at your table before she even leaves so that’s cool. Flag them down to order more! The free sauce bar is great. Mix to your hearts desire. Free self serve ice cream at end too. Yes it gets tedious waiting for little pieces of meat to cook but it’s a cool experience. Ample parking. Cool date spot as it requires teamwork and you have time to chat and drink.

I ordered scallion pancakes and when they were delivered there was nothing barely any scallion pancakes they were discusting and drenched with grease its unacceptable I called and complained they offered me a credit I want my scallion pancakes the way they are supposed to be made. What should have happened was offer me a new order the right way and deliver it to me that's how you satisfy an unhappy customer I am hungry I want eat nor a credit ridiculous. I'll never order there again

FOOD is delicious and the service is amazing. Highly recommended this restaurant. Combination platters are a great way to try this new restaurant out.

The lady who answered was very nice. I ordered the chicken and broccoli. I asked that the broccoli be a little softer (shared with a toddler) and it was perfect. The sauce had a great taste, too. Not all places get the sauce right. Thank you! Will definitely be back!

Amazing food! The chicken with broccoli was amazing, general chicken both spicy and not spicy were delicious and the low mein was great, egg rolls are a must if you go! They also have cute delivery trucks!

The food was good, we tried the indo Chinese and liked almost every dish. The service could be better. The seating process is not super clear, they have some tables reserved, some groups came in and sat whichever table was available. We were 4 people and there was a 6 person table empty but we were told they anticipate bigger parties so cannot seat us on that table. So we had to wait for quiet a bit to be seated. I don’t mind waiting, especially as I saw they were busy but there has to be a clear process of seating people, a dedicated person to manage the seating could be helpful. Will definitely try them out as the food was good

We order takeout from here all the time – it's the best Indo-Chinese restaurant in the area. What I really appreciate about Moghul Express is the care they seem to put into their food. I would assume every dish is made separately, as the flavors always stand out. We've also never seen lemon coriander soup, a staple in many restaurants in India, on the menu at any other restaurant in the USA—but this restaurant has it, and it's fantastic!

I would give zero stars if I could. Dumplings were undercooked (hard) and our Stirfry was pretty bad. The garlic cloves in the dish still had the paper peel on! Noodles hard(hardly cooked. I was worried I’d have a stomach upset after this meal. Didn’t come close to finishing it. 🤨

This place is horrible. It was a waste of moneyI order chicken wings and they look disgusting. My garlic shrimp was nasty. Not sure how they got more than 1 star on here because their food is not even edible.

Ordered chirashi sushi from them a few weeks ago that was slimy and cut, like, 1/2” thick. On top of that I’d ordered an alacart piece of mackerel sashimi that was dryed out and yellowed. Thing looked and smelt like a freeze dried cat treat. The whole dish was iffy. Decided tonight to give them another shot but only stuck to the Chinese food and everything was bland and undercooked. House lomein was basically just warm plain noodles with chicken shavings. Pepper steak is basically raw peppers and onions with unseasoned meat scraps thrown in. Peanut dumplings had burned peanuts and garlic all over it. Been ordering from these guys for nearly 10 years, but never again. Plenty of fish in the sea, and unfortunately Ashia ain’t it anymore.

I have been living in this area for more than 12 years now, noticed the place all the times, never ventured. Today 5/14/2022 decided to give it a try. Bad idea. Place is ok, large, great access, next to a huge apartment community, all is good but the food is BLAND. So far my worst chines take out food with regards to taste experience. Food is BLAND. House special fried rice:- Recommendation, only fit for people those can not stand the sight of a speck of pepper. Not only BLAND, no taste, meat was less, understandably due to inflation. Quantity was fair. At best AVOID Broccoli Chicken:- Recommendation, only fit for people those can not stand the sight of a speck of pepper. Not only BLAND, no taste, no flavor, no aroma. Quantity was fair. At best AVOID Chicken Dumplings: I never saw the shape like a fan, like in underdeveloped countries, children put a three fold paper fan and stick it to a stick with a pin, well odd shape aside, it was OK, (if you can not get dumplings right, you should be garbage removal business, not in Chinese food.) Lady was nice, service was quick. Price is very reasonable, (again in this inflationary period.) Neatly packed. But what is the use if the food is so BLAND and tasteless. This is my feedback, may be it will work for you as spices input is ZERO, not at all stopping you all from patronizing local business in these hard and challenging times.
