Konaseema Cuisine
If you're craving authentic Andhra cuisine, this place is definitely worth a visit. We tried the Mirchi Bajji, Weekend Special Pulav with Chicken Curry, and Annavaram Halwa, all of which were delicious. The service is quick, and the ambiance is pleasant. We'll definitely be returning in the future!
I dropped in for late lunch and ordered pachi mirchi chicken and Konaseema chicken biryani. I loved the tenderness of the chicken but the pachi mirchi fell a little flat in flavors. Prolly next time I will try it in the higher spicy level. The biryani can be broken down into couple departments 😀 The breaded chicken tasted like pre-made chicken that was heated in a wok and got added to the biryani rice. But the biryani rice itself was AWESOME 👌 !! Usually I prefer my biryani rice to retain some moisture and it did....the spices was very well married with the rice. The other best part was the shorba/gravy. Hardly anyone gets it right...but this place nailed it. If I were to take out the chicken ..biryani was great!! Will go again to try the other items. The interior decor was very welcoming with nice wall treatments. Didn't mind the movies and songs playing in the background. Staff was very courteous and knowledgeable about the items. Worth another visit.
