Today I decided to try out this buffet for lunch. Firstly, I noticed that the food was steaming hot. The appetizers looked burnt as if they’ve been reheated from last night. A few dishes looked like that. The ones I tried were decent. I tried the hibachi station. The man was really rude and practically threw the plate of food at me. I had a $5 tip for him but ended up holding on to it. Overall, the food wasn’t the worst… I didn’t realize that there were no refills. I ran out of my drink and they didn’t offer to refill it (I would’ve paid for it if I had to but that option wasn’t given). I guess you get what you pay for…

Good Food, Good Service, Good Prices... We went on Mothers Day (5/12/24) at approx 5pm. There was a line out the door as expected. We waited approx an hour, which wasn't bad. The place is small for a buffet and doesn't seat a lot of people, maybe 75-100. We had a party of six and were seated at two tables. It is sort of compact in the table area. Service was good. The food was excellent buffet food. Hibachi, Sushi, Chicken, Desserts, etc. Fresh and hot/cold, good selection (mostly Asian) and constantly refilling buffeft. Yes, they had crab legs... Our tables sampled just about everything available. We will definitely be going again. Don't let the outside appearance or plaza fool you. This is a hidden gem.

I’ve had this place a few times since moving to Mt Holly, unfortunately on Wednesday night 4/9 around 8:30pm I ordered general tso’s and sweet and sour chicken with a side of white rice. Woke up Thursday with the worst food poisoning of my life. Finally clear by Saturday. Food and service has been good prior to this but now I must find a new Chinese spot.

This was my first and certainty not my last time eating here...I had the general Tso Chicken w/ white meat and it was delicious... so much so I started eating before I took the picture. I highly recommend... and they kept a clean space which is valued...

The food is excellent and so are the people. The staff is very friendly.. It's more of a take out place.

I’m not sure if they are under new ownership or have a new cook but something has changed in the last few months. For the past 7 years I have ordered different items on the menu and no matter what was ordered the food was always excellent and tasty. Now it’s bland and taste-less, they even forget parts of my order recently which has never happened before. The last few orders I told myself that I wasn’t going to order from them again, well last night was my breaking point and last time ordering from them.

After seeing some bad reviews on this place, I had to give it a try. The service was great and I didn’t have any problems ordering my food. The person working behind the counter was very professional and nice to me. The sesame chicken was honestly the best I’ve had in this area and the crab ragoon was also perfect. It’s always sad to see people leaving such nasty reviews on a place that actually has great food. I will be back.

On various occasions I’ve ordered takeout from this location, & the meat is reddish brown when you split the wings in half. It looks like the animal that they cooked had a disease, or the meat is going bad and they still decided to throw it in the pan. The inside of the meat is so GROSS I had to throw it out!!!!!! This happens whenever I’d order food to be delivered to my home. When I order food at their establishment, the food is great. They probably believe that if a customer decides to sit and eat at their place, they’d notice the gross chicken and would demand their money back. DISGUSTING!!!!!!! That’s what they’re serving you at Ka wah for $10 or more per order. They’re fully aware of what they’re serving given that this has occurred on various occasions. STAY AWAY!!!!! I got an order of chicken wings and they came with feathers. The wings are also so greasy, when I bit into it, the grease rolled down my chin. The flavor seemed off and overall just not good. I was ready to enjoy some wings but these were disappointing. Definitely not ordering from this place again.

Got an order of wings with fried rice only got 3 instead of 4. Wings were full of feathers. Quite disappointing.. they got good food and it wasn't busy don't see how they can make a simple mistake.my order was called,I made eye contact with the young lady,she left it on the counter walked away and completely ignored me, all i wanted was some sauce packet.been coming here since early this year.. guess I need to find another place.
