SABOR DOMINICANO
We have been wanting to come but Sundays place is closed. Finally got to go and we decided to eat there. It is clean and layback. The place was not packed but busy for takeout. Our family had little bit of all. Rice, chicken, pork chops, beans, bistec, tostones, mofongo with cheese and to finish with Flan and tres Leche. Oh forgot to mention morir sonando. Food was on point. Can't wait to visit again. Owners are Dominican. Que viva la Republica Dominicana.
We come here for take out often when visiting good friends in lower Jersey. Dominican food here is excellent! Need some who speaks Spanish to do the ordering
Don Pepe Peruvian I
Food comes in large portions with bursts of flavors. I tried the dishes of at least 3 other people at my table and all of them were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The menu is HUGE, so make sure to take your time to look through it all. Got the sangria and it was in a good sized pitcher so everyone at the table had at least a couple glasses worth. I had to ask so you don't have to: yes the sangria has grapefruit in it, so if you're taking meds that require grapefruit avoidance, I'd suggest not getting it! But aside from that it was delicious, tasted a lot stronger by the second and third glass. Also, single restroom for men and woman (aka two restrooms)
I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a fantastic lunch at Don Pepe, and it exceeded all my expectations. The restaurant itself is welcoming and well-kept, setting the perfect atmosphere for a great meal. The real highlight was the food…absolutely excellent! Every dish we tried transported me back to the authentic Peruvian flavors I grew up with. We had spicy ceviche, lomo saltado, and bistek a lo pobre, and each dish was cooked to perfection. The flavors were spot-on and truly reminded me of the best of Peruvian cuisine. I could easily sit there and eat my way through the entire menu. Kudos to the cook and the owners for their success. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuine taste of Peru!
Golden Garden
Do not go new owners food is disgusting same place with lipstick. The rice is yellow not brown after I asked for brown.Place was so cold like Alaska maybe they should put the heat on and shut the back door.Run don’t walk from this place.
I’ve been getting food from this place for over a decade now and I haven’t had a single complaint or dissatisfaction. Their food is top tier and always come back want more. I read some of the other reviews and I can’t seem to relate. Their food is delicious!!
Lucky Cheng
The service was good but the food was not. I ordered bourbon chicken and it came fried hard.
If the little boy at the counter had more manners, I would have rated it 5 stars. Other than that, it's a great restaurant: food is always fresh and prices are very reasonable.
John's Wok N Roll
I’m sorry, but when a Chinese restaurant has an American name, it never turns out right bad seasoning rice Just looks like they put soy sauce and I asked for beef and broccoli not onions and mushrooms. Couple of pieces of beef and three broccoli sprigs. N I have a garden outside the chicken and peppers were more peppers than anything like they took a fourth of chicken breast and cut it up with three bell peppers and two onions 0/10
The sauce is very water and the fried rice is plain. I had the number one and my bell pepper still has the sticker on it
