This place is absolutely amazing!! Worth the small wait for super yummy fresh food. The chicken skewers were described by my son Oliver as "the best thing I've ever eaten"! The mushroom skewers were a++.

Very tasty skewers. Came across them randomly on their opening day and they were still open pretty late. Skewers were super tasty. I ordered the beef (mild) and salt and pepper pork belly. The beef had great flavor with the spices and the meat itself was pretty tender. The pork belly was heavily peppered which I really liked, though it could have used a bit more salt. Overall, I am glad this food truck now exists to bring more diversity to the food options. My only complaints are that I wish the meat chunks were bigger and that I had a beer to eat them with.

I came with my family during weekends. The buns and fried tofu were delicious and tasty. All of us love it. A good place, very chill and friendly. This is a hidden gem in Hoboken

My wife and I recently visited South Lions Dim Sum & Tea, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious and authentic. We loved the variety of dim sum options, all served fresh and hot. The steamed dumplings were perfect, and the Portuguese egg tarts were a sweet and delightful treat. The service was efficient and friendly, and we appreciated how clean and cozy the place felt. Everything we tried was excellent. We will definitely be coming back to try more dishes! This restaurant is now one of our favorites, and we can’t wait to come back again! If you’re in Hoboken and looking for a great place to enjoy dim sum with your loved ones, this is the spot to go.

Best service & best food! Love ❤️❣️💕 their vegetarian general tso chicken!! Great service & everything came out so quick!

This is a review for the VEGETARIAN food. To start, I arrived at lunch time, parking was a hassle, somewhat busy but I was attended to within 10 minutes. I ordered a vegetable roll which came out fairly quickly. Absolutely full of oil, I took one bite and a spoonful full of oil dropped out of it. I couldn’t even finish it very bad. I ordered vegetarian garlic chicken and white rice. The veggies were crunchy and fresh, the sauce was more like a brown sauce and the soy based chicken was disgusting. The veg chicken was more like a thin tofu skin which was dry and chewy - not like a typical soy based mock meat. This is more like a tofu skin that was over cooked. Worst of all, my expectation was high as I turned and witnessed a few people order meat and get their orders first. This made me assume I would be receiving fresh mock meat but that was not the case. Overall, I will not return unless I order a veggie based dish without the mock meat. It seems that their meat dishes are popular, I would steer away from the mock meat chicken if you order a vegetarian dish. The service was good, the server was friendly and made suggestions. The environment was busy but a nice aesthetic. Prices are more than reasonable. I hope your experience is better than mine if you visit :)

The worst food delivery I’ve ever had. I ordered the fatty beef dry hot pot. I couldn’t find even one piece of beef at all other than these like ground fat. It also came with musty cabbage and sausage. I happened to eat some cus I wasn’t paying attention and was eating while watching TV shows. Now I feel so sick. I never left any comments but the food here is disgusting.

The bestttt Chinese food for both dine-in AND takeout. I’ve had a lot of Chinese food places in my life but this place is def the best. I’ve had the sesame chicken, general tso’s, fried rice, and lo Mein and I am so serious when I say every single thing was the best I’ve ever had - flavor and texture are on point!!! This is also the only Chinese food I’ve had that doesn’t leave me feeling terrible afterwards which is worth mentioning. It’s somewhat family style so you can’t get the “combo” meals that you can get at a typical place. So one meat dish and one noodle/rice dish can feed ~2 people - just an FYI but plz don’t let it stop you from ordering!

Bear in mind this place claims to make “healthy” chinese food. That said, it’s good. If you expect your traditional american chinese loaded with sodium, food coloring, and sauces with artificial flavors, you will be sorely disappointed. This food isn’t bad at all given that I eat it, it’s tasty, and I don’t feel horrible afterwards. All things considered, this is a solid spot.

Sesame chicken and lo mein had no flavor. Chicken with broccoli was just OK. As of this review this place had a 3.8 and now I know why lol

I came to this restaurant many times, the food were all delicious and worth the price and time waiting. I really recommend the sesame chicken, it’s my favorite. The front desk lady is also nice, I made friends with her by just ordering twice, she even knows my usual (sesame chicken with white rice).

The food here is amazing. Especially their chicken black bean sauce, it’s a must order every time I come around. The front desk is also very patient, she always have a nice attitude.

Green Garden

Disappointing Experience at Green Garden Chinese Restaurant. I recently dined at Green Garden, enticed by the promise of a hearty meal of Curry Chicken. To my dismay, the dish was a letdown. Priced at $8.75, it fell short of expectations, not because of the flavor, but due to the meager portion of chicken served. With only 4-5 small pieces hidden among an overwhelming heap of vegetables, it felt like a search mission rather than a dining experience. The Wonton Soup was the only saving grace of the meal, offering a taste of what could have been if the main course had lived up to the standard. In hindsight, I wish I had stopped at the soup, which was the highlight of the meal. In all, the experience left me feeling shortchanged. The imbalance between the cost and the quantity of chicken was stark, and I can’t shake off the feeling of being ripped off. It’s a cautionary tale for fellow diners – if you’re here for the chicken, you might want to reconsider your order or perhaps choose a different restaurant altogether.

I had high hopes when the dial up internet connection was how I ordered online. The store front looks exactly how I want my Chinese take-out restaurant to look and the food tastes good, I have no complaints taste wise. But there's just no chicken in this Mongolian chicken, I got a bowl of veges with a few tiny strands of chicken inside. My buddy got chicken and broccoli and well. It was broccoli with a dusting chicken on top.

Best Chinese in Hoboken hands down. Every other place is aggressively mediocre or worse. If you're reading the reviews about them being rude, then you know the food is actually good. Cash only kinda sucks but it's fine.

Saw good reviews and bad reviews, but wanted to come on to kick the nay sayers to the side bc this is REALLY good. The Mei fun noodles were great , Thai Trio was solid - definitely will go back.
