Sultan Wok Highland Park
We ordered take out and it was rather disappointing. The crab rangoons were not crispy and had a layer that was really chewy in the dough which seems to indicate it wasn't cooked all the way through. (The hand position was not meant to be suggestive) The pork in the pork ho fun was super dried out and the sauce was not very flavorful. The dumplings had super thick and doughy wrapping which was unpleasant. The kani salad was severely watery and limp. Like the kani was defrosted and the water wasn't pressed out. Our order of chow mein is a dish of shredded napa, bean sprout, and pork stir fry which was was cut very small resulting in it being very limp and sad. The singapore noodle and white tuna roll were okay.
I love the chicken and broccoli! I always order the lunch special they really cool with the heart I'm always satisfied. I love it here! Also the service is always great. They always greet me and are super kind.
Chef Tan Highland Park
Absolutely the most authentic Chinese food. I’ve tried so far in America. I loved the dishes here. We ordered so much food we could barely finish everything. While I would say the serving portions aren’t a lot it is still so worth it. The desserts were amazing too. My favorite is the rice 年糕. This place is a solid 10/10 if I lived in the area, I would definitely eat here every week. The 包菜 was so good; my friend and I finished the plate clean. The chicken we got was perfect too so crispy, spicy and just the right seasonings. There is streetside parking and it is free if you plan on coming here. The design of the restaurant is very nice as well a lot of cultural decorations here and there. Overall, good vibes. The waiters do seem pretty busy so you won’t be getting amazing service, but the food is so worth it.
The old customers of this store, as always delicious, equal to my second canteen, eat at ease, the restaurant dishes are very complete, there are many can eat, and the taste is super, super delicious, highly recommended!! The amount is very delicious, delicious, delicious, delicious. The taste is authentic, the dishes are rich, the ingredients are fresh, the taste is authentic, it is reassuring to eat, the customer satisfaction is high, it is recommended, the taste is excellent, and it makes people feel very hungry at a glance, it belongs to the more exquisite type. The dishes were also fresh, mildly salty, and the heat was just right
Hunan Manor
I really love this traditional Chinese food restaurant! It's one of the few places I visit at least once a week or take out. The food is always fresh, delicious, and authentically prepared, reminding me of home-cooked meals. This restaurant will never let me down. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine taste of traditional Chinese cuisine!
The Hunan cuisine at this restaurant is very authentic. Whether it's the signature fish, braised pork, or marinated noodles, everything is delicious. The dishes are served quickly, and you can taste the freshness of the stir-fry. Additionally, the service and ambiance are both great, making this restaurant highly recommended.

The renovated place is really nice and neat. Large menu with plenty of options to choose from. We were attended immediately, we didn't have to wait for a waiter. The food itself was decent.
The nastiest Chinese food I ever had paired with some of the worse service! Zero out of ten would NOT recommend! I ordered pick up and walked in the restaurant to get it. The man behind the counter looked at me with such a high level of disdain and disgust as if I was unwanted and unwelcome (I’m not the demographic this restaurant was established for). Scolded me for not checking the bags lined up for pickup, and after I checked them I informed him that my order wasn’t there he then says belligerently: “Then they’re still working on it in the back then!” I asked if he needed my name or number (so he could use it to ask someone in the back about the status of the order because he was NOT BEING HELPFUL) an older guy comes out as I’m giving my name and offers to check. I sit to wait and my order comes out. I paid and ate it in the car. The food was cold and horrible even though it had JUST COME OUT THE KITCHEN! The fried rice was actually yellow rice that they put undercooked vegetables in including frozen peas that were cold in the center. The egg roll was soggy and lukewarm, and the main course lacked flavor and its veggies were undercooked and half frozen. This tasted like Chinese food that someone who had never boiled water before made. No one could give me this for free, I actually feel nauseous. I would not recommend this to anyone, not even a poor and starving person. Please stay away from this place especially if you do not fit the demographic of who it was created for…you will only be mistreated and leave disappointed!
China Star
Was recommended this restaurant and boy am i grateful i was! Food is delicious, so flavorful. I already can't wait to try more dishes next time i order food.
Walked in here unsure but left out very satisfied. I was greeted by a well mannered young lady who took my order. She explained the benefit of paying in cash vs card. The food was exactly how I asked it to be cooked. The taste was excellent. This was my first time here but won’t be my last.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this restaurant deserves all the praise. I was so impressed by the food that I barely had time to take photos before diving in. The dishes I managed to snap are just a small glimpse of how amazing everything was. Honestly, I wish I had ten mouths and ten stomachs to enjoy every single dish they offer. The flavors were on point, and each bite felt like a celebration of authentic Chinese cuisine. Whether you’re craving something bold and spicy or something more delicate, this place does it all perfectly. Can’t wait to come back!🥰😍🥰😍
consistently tasty and balanced flavor food every time we dine here. 5% off cash payment. must try the fern noodles!

Super fresh and delicious food, all tastes very authentic. Our family went there for dinner and ended up having a great time. We highly recommend Traditional sweet sour fried pork, classic fried mushroom, fried lamb skewer, and the noodle soup. My kids love the sausage fried rice so much that they were fighting for it. LOL. We came in late but the waitress was so friendly and nice to us. We really appreciate the hospitality they offered and will certainly come back next time when we are close by.
If you don’t eat cilantro, definitely tell them before putting in your orders. We love cilantro, so how they present the dishes really works for us. Rice has to be ordered separately and not complimentary, but their rice is dual grain and good quality. They have basically all Chinese favorite dishes, and the flavor is to be point. They are very small, but we were seated without waiting both times eating there. But people do call to check availability before they go. The ingredients they use are the actual types we eat in China. I recommend green beans with pork ribs, chicken with mushrooms, and both dishes with eggplants.
Xi-An Flavor
This is a mom and pop restaurant serving Xi’An cuisine. The exterior signage can’t be any bigger: with 4 big Chinese characters covering the entirety of each of the 4 glass panels. The interior is ad hoc at best. But the packing boxes piling up right besides the entrance is totally uncalled for. The lady owner greeted us and immediately advertised their presumably signature dishes: Steamed Cold Noodles (Liangpi 涼皮) $8.99 and Chinese Hamburgers (肉莢膜) $4.99. I normally don’t take recommendations because I am afraid they might be the leftovers restaurants want to get rid of fast, but I relented this time. I only had Liangpi once in my life and I really wanted some verification. And I’ve had their Chinese Hamburgers before and I knew they were decent. In addition, we added Beef with Spicy Green Pepper Over Rice $12.99 which was only advertised on the wall, nowhere to be found on the menu; and the Shrimp Fried Noodle $11.99. Liangpi: It’s unique, not easy to make, tastes good and refreshing. Vegetarian. Chinese Hamburger: A safe choice that can please everyone. Beef with Spicy Green Peppers: Good portion, addictive and most satisfying. Shrimp Fries Noodle: Forgettable. Not much different from a Chinese takeout anywhere in the US. One last thing: bring lots of cash! Even though they do take credit cards, they levy hefty surcharges and the lady owner wouldn’t be happy either. She reminded me 3 times but I simply didn’t carry enough cash.
If you order the wide noodles they will give you the round noodles. This happened twice. I am craving wide noodles so much now. Ordered biang-bing noodles and beef flat noodle. If you don’t have the noodles, tell your customer, don’t lie to them. When I called to tell them they laughed at me. I was in shock. Won’t order from here again.
