My China Cafe
Definitely recommend My China Cafe in Hackensack on Linden Street. Have ordered a few times from this place online and orders have always been good. Fast service and big side portions for the price point. Can’t go wrong with their General Tso’s Chicken with chicken fried rice. The House Special Fried Rice is also really good. The Beef w. Broccoli is one of better ones I’ve had when compared to other Chinese food places in the area. Have ordered the Chicken w. Broccoli in the past but is ok. Overall, some of the best Chinese takeout places in the Hackensack area.
We had the sesame tofu which was awesome! We also had the General Tso Chicken with lomein instead of rice and it was soggy. We were able to order directly from their website. I decided to go with this restaurant because of other Google reviews. Ordering process on the website was relatively easy. Order are came at the expected time. They did not update the steps for the order as it was complete but that’s okay. I would order the sesame tofu again. It was yummy. Oh, they also threw in a free can of Coke.
Hong Kong
10/10 would recommend. The shrimp with green beans was so good!! Got a few other dishes and they all were amazing. Will be back again.
oh my gosh !!! Ever since I moved here and I decided to buy from a random Chinese place I never went back to another one ever again after I tried their food here😊. I usually order delivery and they come with in minutes and would always have amazing piping hot foooood that be so good every single time!!! The workers r so sweet also and was so respectful. Im so glad i was able to find a Chinese spot like this and i hope they continue to thrive in this amazing place they created :)
P.F. Chang's
We recently dined P. F. Changs next to Riverside Mall in Hackensack and had a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious – especially the Mongolian beef and wonton soup. Every bite was a flavor explosion! Our waiter, Carlos, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He was attentive, answered all our questions, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The only minor observation was that plates weren't cleared promptly after we finished each course. Despite this small detail, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. Mg family and I were celebrating a birthday and the staff made it so memorable and fun! I highly recommend visiting this P.F. Chang’s location.
First time here at this location, food was ok. Mongolian trio was too salty , the orange chicken was too sweet and the orange taste is like drinking the orange soda from the can! The appetizers were good. Our server Dylan was very professional
Hot Fish
Good delicious Chinese food. It’s part of a strip mall with ample parking. The staff is welcoming and they offer promos throughout the week. There’s lots to choose from their lunch specials which is your choice of entree with a soup or soda. For $12 I think it’s a pretty good deal.
Been hunting for a good Chinese food spot, found an incredible one! Ordered the boiled fish, stir fried lamb & pea shoots - great flavor all around & most importantly even my mother approved and wants to come back. Love the little touches of snacks while ordering & yakult for dessert!
Great Wall Chinese Restaurant
Fried tofu (115 menu) very nice👍👍 You must try this Crispy tofu. Their service was good too. Sweet and sour chicken was not what I thought. I expected something like orange chicken from panda express but the sauce was more watery. Good thing is they gives you free rice for each dishes. For take outs, they serve sauce and the fried food separately (sauce for sweet and sour chicken, not in d pic.)
My first and last time at this place.. where do I begin.. Today the temperature must have topped 90 degrees. Inside the restaurant it must have been 100 degrees. I seen uncooked food sitting out probably the whole day such as raw chicken wings, broccoli etc.. This can’t be good especially when there isn’t adequate ventilation in this place no AC, not even a fan.. I got shrimp garlic sauce and mixed vegetables.. The food had stunk, as soon as opened the container the shrimp smelled rotten and the broccoli was old.. It had the smell when food sits out too long. I had ordered chicken wings and was scared to even eat that. I also ordered shrimp fried rice and bbq rib tips.. the shrimp fried rice was probably the only best fresh thing. The ribs didnt taste fresh either.. it seemed like it had been cooked several times. The only thing i trust from this place was the free soda due to the money spent on my order.. Avoid this unsanitary place if you care about your health and stomach. This food is sure to send your stomach in knots.
China House
I’ve been ordering from here since 2004 and their food quality is always on point. It sucks that they do not do deliveries but is definitely worth it picking it up. There is just something about their egg rolls and their pork fried rice that always hits.
Yesterday I bought chicken wings and fried rice for my dinner. Sometimes I ate chiness food, so I choose chinese food yesterday. First time I visited here and never saw any review. Honestly, food was so so. I can speak it reasonable. Because, all menu is pretty cheap. Taste was not bad but the thing was MSG. Really lots of MSG is in the foods. 너무 많은 조미료를 사용해서 먹고나면 속이 부대낌. 양과 맛은 먹을 만함.
Hop Sing Chinese Restaurant
I am writing this review because I wish someone would have before I went here. Called in to order Mango chicken. When I bring the food back home and open the food container I find what is shown in the pictures below. Not Mango chicken. The chicken was rubbery and more raw vegetables than anything. The sauce did not taste like mango. Frankly, it didn’t taste like anything. Just a gelatinous slime poured over the “chicken”. When I call they say that that is how they make their mango chicken and deny our request for a refund. They offer to replace our meal with Tso chicken, as “No one complains about that.” Honestly it seems like they did not have the ingredients for the mango chicken and so they just made something up. The tso chicken was not any better either. Ended up having Popeyes down the street instead. This place is a scam. To the owner: next time do not offer a meal you do not know how to make or have the ingredients to make. Forewarn customers that you specialize in only specific dishes on your menu. And when a customer asks for a refund for a clearly disgraceful meal, just do the right thing and issue the refund.
I really wanted to write a 5 star review but the chicken rice soup was disgusting. Tiny little cubes of old meat, smelling rancid. I had to throw it away. The Curry chicken was good. Next time I rather go again to the place in Lodi. Sorry
Lotus Cafe
One of the few Chinese restaurants that still makes their hot and sour soup with pieces of pork, which is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend coming here for lunch—I got the shrimp and chicken combo, and it was great in both flavor and portion! Lots of shrimp, too. 😋 I’d recommend at least giving this place a try before judging by the negative reviews because we had a great experience with the staff. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and thoughtful in checking if anyone needs assistance.
We’re big fans of American Chinese food, so we decided to visit this place after seeing it highly recommended on Reddit. While the exterior may seem unassuming, the interior is surprisingly clean and has a somewhat upscale feel. The prices are slightly higher than other similar restaurants, but the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered our usual favorites — General Tso’s Chicken, curry chicken, and fried rice — and everything was great. What really stood out was the General Tso’s Chicken. At most places, it tends to taste the same, but here it had a unique, signature flavor that we really loved. Honestly, it might be the best we’ve had. Even if you don’t try anything else, make sure to order the General Tso’s Chicken. After this, we might not be able to enjoy it anywhere else!
Dim Sum Station
DimSum street style brings back memories of Hongkong, the epicenter of great DimSums from Michelin and large restaurants, smaller eateries and takeaway stalls. This place has indeed embraced the concept DimSum street food style😎😎😎. It’s a cozy yet pleasant place. It’s looks mainly a takeaway with an option of eat-in. The pictorial menu👍👍👍 is a listing of DimSum dumplings (shrimp, pork) and other non-dumplings such as spareribs (pork & beef), chicken feet, vegetables. There’s also desert DimSum. A smaller part of the menu offers noodles and soups. NOTABLE FEATURE: The sizes of dumplings and servings are rather large. It’s shareable for two. 🤩🤩🤩 The Shrimp Siu Mai is outstanding; packed with shrimp… very flavorful 🤩🤩🤩 The Shrimp Leeks Dumplings are another very tasty dish. The sticky dough is unique. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Braised Beef Short Ribs is outstandingly Cantonese… 😡😡😡 The “Cantonese Meatballs” is NOT CANTONESE, NOT REALLY A MEATBALL but highly processed meat that has the texture of a processed American sausage, except this is spherical… WHY EVEN SERVE THIS???? Takeaway service counter is very efficient. They’ll serve the eat-in once the food is ready. Prices are very very reasonably low.
Rice noodle is too thick; sauce is a little too sour. Tofu skin one is not good. Shumai is juicy. Pan fried pork bun is bad with thick dough and no broth inside. Lava bun first bite is good but too much to finish the whole bun
Salt Kung Fu
We came here after public promotions and recommendations, it met our expectations but I have to say be prepared for the real salty and oily noodle soup and dishes! Very tasty flavors but not that healthy lol! Come for a one time try, and assess yourself! Staffs are very warm hearted treating you like friends.
A much welcome addition to the 99 Ranch food court. I tried the Taiwanese braised pork rice, Guilin rice noodle (spicy), and Chinese hamburger. The braised pork rice was very flavorful. The Guilin rice noodle was pretty spicy (you can also order not spicy) and fragrant, but overall just okay—the noodle texture wasn’t anything special and I wish there were more toppings/sides. The Chinese hamburger was excellent—a nicely toasted bun stuffed with pork. Excited to try other dishes on the menu.
Oriental Restaurant
Our go to Chinese food place for 30 years. Probably not the best Chinese food on Earth but damn good, consistently. Sometimes I think I forget how good this place is when I go to some other place and the food is greasy and just not up to par. Really I highly recommend if you're just looking for some quick Chinese food you can't go wrong
Got take out there last night, the woman who was behind the counter was incredibly rude, not the first time. I have not gone here in a long while because of that and the food is sub-par to say the least. I had no chance to get to the grocery store, so out of necessity I went and ordered takeout. I was screamed at for asking for three! Extra mustard and Duck sauce packets! I get home, and the food was absolutely rancid and inedible. Old, stale egg roll, the oil was old & rancid, funky tasting chicken, and broccoli that looked like it had been picked out of the garbage! Steamed vegetable dumplings looked and tasted like they were filled with sawdust! HORRIFIC. By that time they were closed, and not open again until Tuesday. (This was Sunday night 10/9/22). I took pictures and intend to return for a refund-especially after being EXTREMELY Ill all day today! NEVER AGAIN!
PHUHROO@Hackensack
This place is amazing! The food was so delicious! Everything is so fresh and tasty. The bulgogi had so much flavor. The pho broth soup is rich in flavor. Owner was extremely friendly and kind. I highly recommend for everyone to try this place.
Came for a late night dinner and had the best galbi and pho! The mango and peach fruit teas were really good as well. Workers were really nice and the place had a nice atmosphere for a late night spot. Will definitely be coming back again!
