YU Noodles
Noodles are pretty good. Just Ok appetizers (the spicy chicken appetizer not recommended). I would like to go back for a quick noodle lunch. Reasonable price.
I went on opening day. The place was busy but the staff handled everything very well. The place is new, clean, well lit and spacious. Good and fast table service. The food is above average and I recommend the soup dumplings and the wontons. I will go backnto try more dishes, as the menu is quite large. Good size portions, easy to park.
Tri-Nice Express
Authentic Sichuan Chinese food. Under new management, friendly staff. Spicy crispy chicken Highly recommend. Ask for extra spicy if you can handle the heat. We like the dry sauteed string beans also. Going back to try other dishes.
I always order through Uber eats and this has been my go-to for Szechuan spice. Their Spicy Crispy Chicken is amazing and comes with so many peppers and spice- no other restaurant does it like them. Consistently delicious food.
Hung Tao
I thought they accidentally gave me pork instead of beef first time I got food from here. I wanted to give it a second chance today, just to get something that is either only beef fat or pork. Quality is horrible. Everything I got goes to trash.
All the food was not good. Felt sick immediately. Couldn’t finish it. Low quality meat. Bad oil. Just pretty gross overall and I’m not a picky eater
Mckenzie Jerk Center
A wonderful place to sit rela2x and unwind with friends, family and co-workers. This place brings people together with genuine Jamaican dishes such as Jerk Chicken, Curry Chicken and Brown Stew chicken just to name a few. Music to suite your taste ans alcoholic beverages to cool you down.
One of the best Jamaican food spots in the area. The jerk chicken was really good. That was my personal favorite but everything was really delicious if I'm being honest! The staff was really friendly too.
Magic Grill
You need to be prepared to stack up your ingredients for this delicious noodle spot. You can start with a soup, dumplings and then grab a bowl to put all your ingredients in. Then the cook makes the noodles right in front of you.
I've been coming to Magic Grill for 15 years and I leave satisfied every single time. The Mongolian Barbecue is whatever you want it to be and the homemade dumplings are heavenly!!! Cannot recommend this place enough
Kitchen No.1
I have been coming here for years. Out of all the Chinese restaurants I have tried in this area/city if Bridgeport, this is hands down the most CONSISTENT. I don't know how they have their recipe so foolproof, but it's working. I know that if I order the sesame chicken today, tomorrow and next week, it will taste the same each and every single time. Also, customer service is A1. Great job y'all keep it up. I look forward to many more years of enjoying your amazing food.
Something disgusting was in the food. Look closely and you’ll see spikes. Definitely a creature. Stay clear. Never will get my business again.
Chopstix Express
It's called Dragon Treasure now, but lemme tell you I bit into some batter dipped meat and looked down to find half of a chicken foot/talon. Am I ever going there again? NOPE...n̈ope! NAH! NO WAY. I'd expect that - in China. You can't put blatant trash in food in the US, though! We're not down for that! We prefer it to be less obvious. You can grind that up and call it a chicken nugget all day. I've seen what chickens walk in, and you don't put that in your mouth on purpose unless you are about to die of starvation. There appeared to be nobody about to perish in this way in this restaurant at the time said crime against poultry and gustatory quality was committed.
I used to eat here once a week in college. The food was fantastic and I loved it but something changed since then. The sesame chicken was soggy, the beef and broccoli had no flavor but thankfully the fried rice is what I remember and it was delicious. The atmosphere is quite dismal. It is a very rundown building that does not have great upkeep. The inside is dirty and outdated. The people are fantastically nice and very friendly. It's too bad the quality has gone down over the years.
Chinatown
Delicious, nutritious, great service, great prices. We ordered a huge meal from here to feed family over the long weekend, and, wow, couldn't have been better: the most impressive thing was how all the different kinds of food were excellent and also affordable. The steamed vegetables and grilled chicken became 2 healthy lunches; BITH a kids devoured the soup over the course of several days; the barbecue pork and fried rice was an indulgent splurge the night of; and they have dumplings steamed or fried that are both delicious. Couldn't have been happier and definitely turning this into a once a month thing. Other places are charging through the nose compared to this place, too!
If I see a rat cross the kitchen while I'm waiting for my order, should they get five stars?... nah, four is better....LoL
China Star
This restaurant always has excellent and fresh food. The staff is always friendly and they remember your name when you call more than a few times. Fast delivery and fast pickup. Been coming here for years. Highly recommend.
It has been hard to find “outstanding” chinese food in NJ. Many places have that “slimy” texture. From all places, this place was the most decent one. Dumplings was the most delicious one.
Curry N Wok
I came here for dinner when I saw that they were halal and really enjoyed it. The service was great and the servers very friendly and attentive to our needs. We tried a couple of different noodles and wings and enjoyed all items we had from the menu. I liked that they asked us about our spice level preference and end product was spot on for the spice level that we were looking for. Would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to try Indo-Chinese fusion food.
What a wonderful experience, recently got a chance to dine in in this amazing restaurant. This is a perfect place to go if you are craving Indo Chinese food, as an Indian who recently moved in this area I am beyond happy to find this place. Beautiful decor, warm people and most importantly the food! Holy cow! Where do I begin, we ordered chicken 65 which happens to be my most favorite thing, and I was not disappointed! It was BOMB! The fish and chicken were so succulent, probably just came out of the tandoor oven. The naans were crisp and fresh. And the nachos was a brilliant idea. We asked for spicy food and surprisingly it was just how we like it. One of my friends was vegan and they happily accommodated her too. The owner was really nice to us, he explained the concept and the idea behind this cuisine, we are so impressed. Definitely coming back here! ❤️ Cheers to Curry N Wok! Edit: They have the Best Goat Biriyani. Loaded with meat, saffron and Ghee🤤🤤🤤
New Golden Wok
Solid chinese take out. Tight space (normal NY) and frenetic, but effective service. I had some fried rice (yum), the bourbon chicken (a bit sweet), and tried some wontons (ok, but skins really thick).
Food is fire. I normally get vegetable fried rice with fried vegetable dumplings. The shrimp with broccoli is pretty good also. Staff is cool and they let you get your own condiments.
Hong Ning Filipino Restaurant & Grill
One of the best things about Carol Stream. Good service and restaurant location. Very tasty halo-halo, I also recommend the lumpia.
Fantastic place! Excellent food and service coming from a quaint and homey restaurant. Well-made traditional Filipino food is served here and is reminiscent of a delicious home-cooked meal. We called ahead and ordered for pick-up. We ordered the crispy sisig, miki bihon, egg rolls, crispy pata kare kare, lechon kawali, and halo halo. It was all very delicious and was an exemplary taste of the cooking back home in the Philippines. The sisig was rich with flavor and practically melted in your mouth while some of the pieces still had a bit of crunch to it, which was perfect! I only wish it was cooked with hot peppers. The lechon was reheated in our airfryer, which got it crunchy again, the kare kare was expertly made. The pata meat was stewed to perfection and very tender. The sauce was savory, and the vegetables were so fresh that they still had a nice snap to them when chewed. The bihon noodles were plentiful and euphoric. The eggrolls were crispy and meaty, and the sauce that came with it was tart and tangy. Overall, my experience was an excellent one. The food was ready for pick-up at the time given. The dining area was clean with ample seating. The prices seemed fair, as the portions were large enough to feed several people, and the volume seemed appropriate given what the prices were. There was a sign posted about how they are short-staffed, so please be patient with any longer waiting times and call ahead accordingly if ordering take-out. Again, this was an excellent culinary experience. Thank you for the great food and awesome service!
