Soup Dumpling Plus
This restaurant has the best soup dumplings ! They melt in your mouth and you will want to have more !! Silky !!! Tasty!! Yummylicious !! The rest of the food is phenomenal too, and one of my favourites is the chicken and Chinese eggplant. Every dish that comes out of the kitchen looks phenomenal. For those who are adventurous with their food this place will hit the jackpot for you. I stick to things I know I like. Creature of habit. The staff is friendly and courteous. Not much atmosphere. This is a place you come to eat phenomenal food and go. Always leave satisfied. Never disappointed. Come and try !!!!
Food was absolutly amazing, especially if you add the spice to the soup—but be aware, it’s really hot! I ordered the shredded pork cabbage shredded noodle soup and pork dumplings—both were excellent and full of flavor. Service was on top of everything. There’s a menu by the entrance you can check out before coming in, and once seated, you’ll fill out your order on a paper sheet. The atmosphere was a bit noisy, but honestly we didn’t mind—we came for the food. Tables were clean, and the staff made sure to clear them right away as soon as a customer relieves, so they’re ready for the next guest. Street parking was availlable but tight, there is lot under the shopping center. Everything looked clean and organized. We didn’t try any vegetarian dishes, but we saw some on the menu.
Jiangnan Fort Lee
Jiang Nan in Fort Lee brings something fresh to the area—elevated Chinese cuisine in a sleek, modern setting just steps from the GWB, where Wings Factory used to be. Our server, Andrew, was fantastic—welcoming, attentive, and made the whole experience feel effortless. He walked us through the iPad ordering system, which was intuitive and user-friendly. From there, it was easy to explore the menu and get excited about what to try. We ordered: 🥩 🐖Twice-cooked pork belly—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. 🐓🍆 Stewed chicken with eggplant—tender, savory, and comforting without being heavy. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, with dark tones and perfect lighting. Everything feels elevated without being stuffy. Even the bathroom was a surprise—super clean, stylish, and yes, it had a bidet. Don’t skip dessert: 🍮 Crème brûlée was flambéed tableside—literal flames (🔥🔥) and a beautiful caramelized top. 🍰 Tiramisu was soft, creamy, and well-balanced. This place is still new, but it already shows real promise. With the Michelin recognition behind its NY location, I’m excited to come back and see what else they roll out.
What can I say about Jiang Nan?! Their food is superior and the service and ambiance are as high quality as their food. Our server, Diana, is a gem, and makes the experience even more enjoyable. The Peking Duck melts in your mouth, and their fried rice is like nothing I've ever tasted anywhere else. My wife and I have visited a few times and it's always been delicious and consistent. We love having such a wonderfully unique restaurant in our neighborhood!
XIN LA GONG FU 辛辣功夫 麻辣烫 신라쿵푸 마라탕
I recently visited Xin La Gong Fu in Fort Lee, and it’s a great spot for those who love bold, spicy flavors. The restaurant specializes in Malatang, a customizable Sichuan-style hot pot, and they do it well. What I Loved: ✔ Rich, Flavorful Broth – The soup base was packed with authentic Sichuan spices, delivering the perfect balance of heat and umami. You can customize the spice level, which is great for both mild and spice lovers. ✔ Fresh Ingredients – The selection of meats, seafood, vegetables, and noodles was fresh and plentiful. Everything was cooked perfectly in the broth. ✔ Fast & Efficient Service – Despite the customizable nature of the meal, the service was quick, and the staff was helpful in explaining the process. ✔ Skewers & Side Dishes – I also tried a few skewers which were solid additions to the meal
This place is my all-time favorite. If I could recommend only one place in NJ, this would be it. I literally come here just to take out a big box so I can survive the week. The peanut Mala Ban is the highlight—the peanut flavor adds a special touch to the ordinary malatang. And if by any chance you're allergic to peanuts, don't worry—everything else is just as delicious! I also love that you can pick exactly what you want in the "build your own" section. The prices are affordable, and the workers here are friendly and super nice. Definitely come check it out! The pictures below to prove that I’ve been here multiple times.
Zhangliang MalaTang 张亮麻辣烫 장량 마라탕
The beef bone broth was very flavorful. The ingredients are fresh. Their sauce bar gives very high quality chili oil, pepper oil, and vinegar. The cilantro and green scallions were very fresh as well. Highly recommend!
The food and ingredients were fresh and delicious. There was a great variety to select from. The mushroom broth had a depth of flavor. It is unfortunate they don’t provide water but sell bottled water.
Dong Bo Sung
Great Korean comfort food! Would come here more often if I lived closer. The service was also fast.
It’s a legit Korean-Chinese place and my friends and I absolutely loved it!! We ordered 5 different menus and everything was DELICIOUS and only cost around $100 including tips. Highly recommended. I’m so glad to know this place.
Jade House
I grew up with this Chinese food it’s really good but they min for credit cards are 12 now witch for one person is hard.
Very impressed with this delivery via Grubhub! Chicken with garlic sauce and general tso’s chicken are tasty. Not overly sweet or salty like many other Chinese food takeouts in the area. And food packaging was good. Will order from here again.
King Hong
All this including tax and delivery fee was $10.33! Now that’s a deal! I ordered from the lunch menu right before the special ended. Everything was delicious and tasted fresh. This is the spot!
I've been looking for somewhere in the area to get some great Shrimp Egg Foo Yung. I was so disappointed that it was charred
Joyce
I ordered Hunan-style beef, but all I got was a plate of vegetables that tastes like ketchup. What a joke. I’ve been so stressed from work and just wanted some comfort food, but this is what I ended up with. Honestly, I just want to cry.
Ordered take out. Delivery was quick. Roast pork loin mein was ok, young chow fried rice was bad - too wet, seafood dish was cheap hence didn't come with the stated crab meat, general tso chicken was ok and friend dumplings were ok. Portions were good size, typical Chinese take out.
