P.F. Chang's
I had a great dining experience at P.F. Chang’s! The food was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared, with a perfect balance of seasoning and texture. Every dish I tried was delicious, from the appetizers to the main course. What made the experience even better was the service—the waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful , making the atmosphere warm and welcoming. It’s always nice when staff go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. I’ll definitely be coming back for another meal soon!
The only thing better than the food on this particular visit was the service! Our server (cannot remember his name, sadly - correction, his name was Bobby!) was amazing. Definitely went the extra mile to ensure my wife (who is vegan) would have plenty of options for dinner. The server consulted with the chef to figure out which meals could be tailored for her. Incredible visit overall 👍
Joe's Peking Duck House
We enjoyed a nice sit down Chinese meal in this small but clean and comfortable strip mall locale. We were immediately served hot tea before out meal, a nice touch, rare to find since Covid, as are pure sit down Chinese restaurants. We started off with pan fried and steamed soup dumplings, both were nicely cooked and had tasty meat fillings, we then had Peking beef, chicken and shrimp with water chestnuts, house special lo mein, pork fried rice, sautéed string beans in garlic sauce and a sesame chicken, all were above average except for the sesame chicken which was chewy, stringy and too sweet, the poor execution of this wound up with the establishment losing a star. Everything else was good or above average including the friendly service and hospitality.
This is a great place to find real Cantonese food, for those who have no tried it before highly recommend you do, it’s so much lightly and healthier then some of the other styles of Chinese food that you can find. The staff were so friendly here, the family that run this are clearly very involved in the community and really take the time to make you feel welcome. They are cash only.
Chef Zhang
As much as I would LOVE to gate keep this place… I care about supporting a small business more. This place is really authentic Chinese food! If you love numbing and spicy food - this place is it for you! I haven’t been able to find an actual good place in south jersey for years and I can safely now say i did. Soooo delicious. The staff is super nice. The tea is really good - wish it had a strainer so you didn’t get a ton of leaves in but still 💯💯💯
My First time coming here and I must say I enjoyed the experience. I always try to give something I've never had a try and that's exactly what I did. I tried the peppered lamb which was really good. Overall I enjoyed it all.
King's Palace Chinese Restaurant
After seeing other reviews, I felt compelled to share my experience. I’ve visited this place multiple times since June and never knew the previous owner. In my opinion, I believe half of the negative reviews might be fake. Some seem to miss the old owner dearly, specifically for the way he prepared food over the past 30 years. Anything different isn’t satisfactory for them. During my recent visit last week, I ordered several dishes: the shrimp wontons were outstanding, a definite 10/10. The sweet and sour pork and the fish with mixed vegetables both rated a solid 9/10. The fried calamari and shrimp toast were good too, scoring 8/10 each. My family and I visited around 3 pm, and the food arrived promptly. I noticed some complaints about excessive oil on the food, but I didn’t experience that issue as you can see in my photos. Everything was delicious. We definitely plan to visit again.
It’s a shame, I really liked this place but I don’t think I could eat here again. My girlfriend found a hair and some sort of fly in her food. We both lost our appetite to say the least. Luckily the hostess at the front desk was super nice and apologetic about it and gave us a refund for the meal. Hopefully there’s some better quality control for other peoples meals.
King Wong Inc
Huge portions! Rec: Mei fun, spring rolls, teriyaki chicken Fast, fresh, consistent.
This place is a rip off. I paid 39 and change for pork lo mein, fried rice, general tso chicken, a scallion pancake (which was more reminiscent of a greasy wafer), 2 cans of soda, and 75¢ for a tiny bag of prepackaged crispy wontons. Everything was extremely overcooked. The pancake, the chicken, and the noodles. They are utilizing the cheapest ingredients money can buy and charging top dollar. This is not healthy or good food and will not nurture your soul. I will let the pictures do the rest of the talking.
King Wong - Marlton, NJ
This is the best Chinese food I’ve ever had! The General Tso’s chicken was perfectly crispy, coated in a thick, flavorful sauce with just the right amount of spice. The aroma alone had me excited before I even opened the container. Huge thanks to King Wong! Fair prices, incredible staff—the owner was super friendly, and we had a great conversation. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Can't say enough about King Wong. The freshest ingredients and the tastiest Chinese around. Their spare ribs are hands down the best in Jersey. The best ribs! They finish them off on a grill so they are kissed with fire before you get them! So delicious. Great steak on a stick, dumplings, everything is super fresh. If you're brave enough order the general TSO chicken and tell make it spicy. So delicious. Don't forget to get the house made duck sauce. Still my favorite Chinese in the area. Awesome service!
Mulan Food Marlton
A little non assuming strip mall basic takeout place (although we sat at one of the 3 tables and ate). Fast service. Very fresh ingredients. Fried rice done right Smokey flavor as it should be. Boneless ribs were tender not chewy- flavorful. General chicken had good light crisp and sauced just right. Overall a very good Chinese place. Should be a sit down restaurant as it’s one of the better places we’ve found ! Definitely worthwhile to try takeout Recommend you stop in!
This is some of the best Chinese in South Jersey! The flavor of the sauce is so on point! I first had this about a year back and kept confusing it with the Mulan in Voorhees which I believe is a totally different Chinese restaurant. The portions are generous. It is a bit pricier than other Chinese restaurants but I don't mind paying the extra for the quality. The vegetable spring rolls are crunchy but not overly greasy and the vegetarian menu has a good variety of combinations. I appreciate them modifying the order for me and adding eggplant to my mixed vegetables. The tofu is crispy but not OVERLY dry and over cooked. I like that they don't overdue the sauce. It's just enough to coat the food and a little extra. They accidentally didn't remove the egg from the egg fried rice as I'd requested so I'd love to try that in the future as it did look good. The vegetable lo mein seemed to be missing sauce but I don't know if that was due to my modifications. It wasn't bad but probably wouldn't order that item again. Their food doesn't seem to set off my stomach like many other Chinese spots do. It was so good I offered it 2 days in a row! I'd recommend this Chinese place for sure!
May Flower Chinese Restaurant
I came to the store three different times. The first two times I ordered chicken wings and shrimp egg rolls. I'll be honest the chicken wings are good the shrimp egg rolls were also okay. I came a third time on a snow day. I was with my wife and baby daughter. I ordered shrimp fried rice. Fried rice is one of the dishes that are used to judge Chinese stores before I try other food. I wish I never ordered it. The shrimp in the rice was old or something. Do you know how shrimp color is off when it's bad. Idk. Maybe someone didn't pick up their food or something. The first visit the lady didn't speak to me and just looked at me to order. She also was being nasty to another customer while I was there. I figured that being in marlton they would be great but no not so great. I wasted my money on the rice. I ate the rest. I wish it wasn't snowing I would have taken it back.
I grabbed some takeout for lunch from this place and I was very happy with it. The ingredients were very fresh, the egg roll was excellent (and I don’t typically care for egg rolls) and the service was fast and friendly (they had my order ready in 10 minutes). It would’ve been nice to get a fortune cookie but other than that I have zero complaints.
Shanghai Express Chinese Food
Came in for the first time and the host somehow knew which was my pickup without me saying anything but pickup. Maybe it was the timing, but I saw quite a few packaged pickup orders. I guess the others must be regulars. The host was very friendly. Five spice duck: A lot of meat packed in. Normal they duck I have at other places has a fatty skin layer and a bone in each piece, but this place either rendered it soft or removed the bone. Was pleasantly surprised as it's less work to eat. Would recommend. Lake Tung ting shrimp: Clean feeling shrimp, felt fresh with just enough sweetness from the vegetables. Szechuan pickle soup: Pickles like Chinese pickled veggies you'd get from a jar. Had plenty of pork in it too. Pleasantly surprised.
This is the best Chinese food I've ever had! Excellent customer service always and it's a very welcoming environment. 😁 I love it here!!
Panda Express
Good food and friendly staff, you just have to wait a while for the food. The last 2 times I went they said there would be an 8 minute wait for them to cook more meat but it was longer each time.
• Amazing for a fast food place, amazing in general • The orange chicken was delicious • Service was friendly and fast • This is now my favorite fast food place I have ever been to • Plenty of food for little cost • Better than a local restaurant with similar food • Highly recommended!! • If you need a quick and yummy bite to eat, definitely try this out
China Express Restaurant
Ordered the large spare ribs for takeout and they were absolutely awful. Ribs were completely burnt and dry. Threw away my dinner because it was inedible. Not the first time this happened when ordering their spareribs so it will be my last. Total waste of money.
After Shangri la screwed us on Christmas night by lying and being over 1:30 after scheduled pick up time, China express stepped in and had our food ready in 20 minutes. The food was fresh and delicious. THANK YOU CHINA EXPRESS.
China 1
Let’s be honest, I have been reviewing restaurants for the past five years. This restaurant is a local Chinese establishment. The rating for this restaurant should be a 3.5. The one thing they have going for them is the rice either white or brown is good. I found a lot of their items were lacking flavor. The hot and sour soup has a lot of vegetables and tofu but does not have much flavor or spice. The chicken lo mein falls flat as it was also bland. The vegetable eggroll and steam vegetable dumplings were both starchy but were filled nicely. The sweet and sour chicken uses a very heavy breading and the chicken looks to be precooked before being breaded. If you are looking for a local, bland option in Chinese food then this place is for you.
We had been ordering food from this China1 for several years and their food used to be very good. But, lately we have encountered a couple meals that were not that great. We ordered Beef and String Beans. The beef contained grizzle and the string beans were hollow - no beans in the string bean hull. We informed them about the string beans; but, we continued to receive hollow string beans. Problems with a credit card resulted in one of their charges being denied. We went to the restaurant to have the charge re-submitted to our credit card. For some reason, they added $8.00 onto our order. There are other Chinese restaurants in the area; as well as other restaurants. Recently, we have been ordering from the May Flower Chinese Restaurant located in the Crispin Square Shopping Center. And, yes, their Beef and String Beans is very good - it contains tender tasty beef and nice, young and delicious whole string beans - with beans in the string bean hulls! We have been delighted with the results, as we continue to try other items on their menu. Their own delivery service is very prompt and a pleasure to do business with. See Feedback for the May Flower for more detailed information.
