Lucky Kitchen
It’s my first time trying this spot. I ordered the Singapore rice noodles. They have great flavor and portion, and they’re not overly greasy like other American Chinese restaurants. Highly recommended
I usually don't leave reviews much less bad ones. However, this place was worthy of one in a negative way. I ordered the general tso chicken with vegetable fried rice and: -The food was soggy and tasted stale -The tso chicken barely had any color (other looked whiteish rather than the natural general tso brown color) and was tasteless Something was just off about the food. I don't ever plan to order from here again.
Bao's Chinese Kitchen
Incredibly overpriced for Chinese food whose flavors are just meh. Haven’t had them in decades but my local joint was closed. The last time I tried to order here, I was told they don’t deliver to my address but this time they said they did. It cost me $32 and change after tip for a large chicken and broccoli, a small pork fried rice and 4 fried chicken wings. That’s just insane.
Do yourself a favor, no matter what you order get a portion of boneless spare ribs. They have the best sauce and cut the ribs into pieces that are perfect. I stretch a large out for 3 days and can't decide if they are better the first day or the last. If there is any sauce left I stop it up with bread just so I don't waste it. Dang made myself hungry thinking about it, need to order more.
El Rincon Peruano Restaurant & Bar | Ceviches, Seafood, Authentic Signature Dishes | Peruvian Food
Pretty good option to visit with family members and friends. Large menu option of dishes from the land or the sea. Traditional taste of peruvian cooking. Courteous service staff team. Prices are affordable.
I'm a regular customer, have ordered everything from the Menu at lunch (soup+entree) to the regular dinner entrees. The quality of the food has improved from when it started years ago. They have been consistently serving plates full of flavor with generous portions. It's a no-frills type of place but you really get a bang for your buck here. Glad to keep coming back.
Vintage Kitchen
I recently dined at Vintage Kitchen, and it was an incredible experience. The food was exceptional authentic Indian flavors with a modern twist. The biryani was fragrant and flavorful. If you’re looking for a place that delivers on flavor, Vintage Kitchen is a must visit.
Vintage Kitchen Indian Restaurant offers a great mix of flavors and authenticity. Their **Kodi Vepudu** (chicken fry) is a standout, crispy and packed with spices. The **Indo-Chinese** dishes, like chicken noodles , chicken fried rice are perfect for those who enjoy a fusion of Indian and Chinese flavors. For biryani lovers, the **Zaffrani Chicken Dum Biryani** is a must-try, fragrant with saffron and perfectly cooked chicken. The **Fry Piece** is also delicious, crispy on the outside and tender inside. To end the meal, the **Carrot Halwa** is rich and sweet, while the **Payasam** provides a comforting finish. Overall, the food is flavorful and satisfying, making Vintage Kitchen a top choice for anyone craving Indian food.
Golden Island Restaurant
I try every spot in town when I move and I gotta say this is the best Sesame Chicken in New Haven. They don't skimp on the Sesame seeds, and the chicken to breading ratio is just right. Super pleasant people as well. Crab rangoons are also to die for. Overall every time I've gone it's been a great experience so stop reading this and go order from them.
I used door dash. The food was hot upon arrival. But the food was bland. The dumplings were the standard frozen brand they bought from a wholesaler. The fried rice was bland, and the general tso's was not spicy.
