Rice Roll
Anthentic rice rolls, glad to see new restaurants open in the area.
Grabbed a quick bite with my family before grocery shopping. I must say the food was ABSOLUTELY delicious! Everything tasted so fresh. I was surprised at how much my kids loved the food so much especially being picky eaters. It was affordable and customer service was great. I'd definitely be returning and I would recommend it to anyone.
Ten Seconds Rice Noodle
The food tasted great the sausages and collagen chicken soup tasted really good would recommend 👍👍 Customer service was amazing The atmosphere was nice and opened
Noodle is good and perfect for winter time :) Nice package
Orchid Fine Asian Cuisine
I REALLY REALLY love this place. The manager or owner (not sure) is so attentive to you when you eat here. She truly cares about her customers! The food is also absolutely amazing with great prices!!! I love the atmosphere here also as truly is a place to relax and unwind. Thanks for always giving me such a great experience when I come here!!!
The food was very good. I enjoyed the fried dumplings, the General Tso was very good but wasn't spicy at all. The Boneless Spare Ribs were very good. The tea was served in a coffee mug and was below room temperature. I added ice from my water glass and enjoyed it regardless (It was a hot day). I recommend their food but they need to remove the floor fan from the dining area, if their air conditioning doesn't work, get it fixed. The fan is loud and makes the place look less than elegant. I will eat here again.
Tian Asian Express
Very great food a blend of chinese and sushi and teriyaki plus bubble tea We love the dine in very nice hot food comfortable the Generol Tos Chicken was very good best I had in NJ very crispy soft interior flavorful the Kung pa Chicken had a unique flavor very yummy the sushi were all perfect and tasty the lobster fry rice was on the spot great bubble tea was so yummy everything taste amazing with amazing staff will definitely be going back
This meal is my favorite and very delicious. The owner is always very nice to me every time I come in. I highly recommend you try this place out.🔥
Golden East Garden
This is my go-to Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood. The owner Kevin and Chery are friendly and helpful. I especially enjoy the beef fried rice or hot & sour soup. This is a sit-down place with great seating but I mostly order takeout. I love the homey ambience and recommend this restaurant to anyone with a craving for Chinese food 5/5. The food quality is great and the staff are incredible. I’ve seen comments below about the food quantity and I’d say that’s not a fair assessment. It’s a sizable portion, especially when you dine in
Old-fashioned style restaurant with great Chinese cuisine. I love the dinner where as it took me way back to my younger times at eating at an authentic Chinese restaurant. The food was enough and we enjoyed the quiet space. I will happily be coming back for more..
Dim Sum Go Go Go
A trully Mom and Pop home cooked and authentic dim sum place. We love their shrimp and pork shumai. It is moist and delicious. Their soup dumpling is tasty as well. I like that they don’t put msg, and it's lightly salted. You go here for excellent food and not for the appearance.
Ordered from here plenty of times without any issues, this time I received steamed chicken dumplings that looked old, the edges of the dumpling were rubbery, called the restaurant and was told they were not going to fix. Lost a customer
Ichiban 18
Hands down, the best hibachi Ive had, Never came inside to dine in, however the take out is magnificent. Really one of my favs, its so far from me but idc, ill drive there anyday! On top of great food, the receptionist lady is wonderful & has a great attitude! Thankssss for having a great business & positive attitude to your consumers.
Always a good time. This has been our go to spot for 10 years+. Regular staff knows our standing order. Food hasn't disappointed us once. Service is prompt, staff is friendly. Hibachi is just as good as sushi. Great local spot that won't break the bank. Thanks!
East Brunswick Chinese Restaurant
This used to be my go-to Chinese restaurant, and I really liked the food. Not anymore! I got take out yesterday for the first time in a few months and was very disappointed. The quality of everything has declined. The pork egg roll was not crispy, but chewy and tough, with very little pork. The fried tofu was not crispy either, as if it had been sitting around awhile. Furthermore, the ginger scallion sauce for the tofu used to be a spicy soy based sauce. What I got this time was not only the wrong sauce, but a thick, pale sauce that was gooey and unappetizing. The "pork" fried rice had only a few small bits of pork and no onions, and was very bland. Finally, the chicken with garlic sauce was supposed to be spicy, and was not at all- also very bland. After many years, I will no longer be ordering from here.
Chinese restaurant in East Brunswick I tried twice it’s good one but I guess they can do much better to increase their quality as you can see it’s only 4 pieces shrimp 🍤 in the whole plate and we ordered a group order all of it same even chicken and beef. The taste is good 👍 as well. What I like in the order more fortunate cookies 🍪 every time comes out of the time.
La China Poblana
This is the best Mexican food in New Jersey. I'm from SoCal and spent many summers in Mexico. I know authentic Mexican food, before this I didn't think NJ offered it to this degree. The prices for the portion sizes are beyond fair and the salsa is easily top 3 salsa verde (including even Mexico) I've enjoyed. The breakfast is made perfect whether you enjoy a classic American style or something Hispanic you'll be satisfied. The ambiance and decor is beautiful and well done. The staff is extremely friendly and everything is extremely clean. Not to mention many classic Mexican pastries and a variety of aguas frescas!!!
Went here with a friend recently after looking for a place to eat. Being Hispanic, I'm usually pretty critical of Hispanic food that isn't my mother's cooking. But this place is good. Really good. The food comes out fresh and full of flavor, their drinks have variety, and the environment is awesome. Pricing is fair and we spent around $50 with 2 Appetizers, 2 Entrees, and multiple drinks. Do not skip this spot.
KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot
The food here is very good and it is a wonderful culinary experience. The meats/vegetables are always fresh and it is worth going for dinner time, since it includes all the meats. For a couple or two people it is a price of $83 with drinks (like sodas) + tip and I do feel that it is a bit excessive in price, I consider that if everything came out to $80 (tip included) it would be more affordable, since paying almost $100 per couple is not very good… however, I reiterate that the food IS worth it. I would add more dessert options, salad bar and a children's menu. Since the desserts are only 2-3 options and not for the general public, so it would be great if they added more sweet options.
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but the service we received was really disappointing. The front desk staff spent most of their time chatting. Dirty plates were piling up, and no one came to clear them. Our water ran out, and even after asking, it wasn’t refilled promptly. Our grill plate got burnt, and it only got changed after we kept asking. We had to constantly go out of our way to get the servers’ attention. Meanwhile, other tables seemed to be getting attentive service. Since the waiter automatically receive an 18% tip regardless of the service quality, it seems like he doesn’t care about providing good service. I’m not a difficult customer, but the service we experienced didn’t deserve such a high tip.
Umi Hotpot Sushi & Seafood Buffet | Hot pot restaurant
Restaurant UMI is a true gem for food lovers! The dishes are fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. I especially recommend the variety of seafood, sushi, and dumplings. The cozy atmosphere is perfect for relaxation. The prices are reasonable, and the female staff is very friendly. However, the downside was the behavior of the male staff who insisted on tips for service. I’ve been to many restaurants, and I’ve never encountered something like this, where you give a tip, and someone tells you it’s not enough. A tip is a personal choice and a gesture of gratitude, not an obligation. This gentleman was simply rude, and the manager should address this issue and make it clear that such behavior is unacceptable.
5 stars are not enough for this place. Anything you can think of, lobsters, crabs, sushi, clams, oysters, lamb, ox tail, beef ribs, bubble tea, sodas, amazing deserts…. All included and all of great quality. The snow crab was so fresh that I had another plate. In the end, I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the price was for this quality of food. Hands down the best buffet I’ve had in America.
Rai Rai Ramen
We decided to check this place out on an off day. The atmosphere was simple and service was okay. I got the spicy curry ramen and my fiancé got the pepper steak ramen - both were very good. My one son got the seafood ramen but it was okay. The other son got the shabu shabu which he liked.
I’m sure most people come for the ramen but being a seeker of mapo tofu I dropped by to taste their take on the Chinese dish. I ordered a single plate of their mapo tofu over rice. First impression was visual: it’s a big plate of food! Which felt nice because their pricing nowadays is around $15. Taste-wise, their mapo tofu has a light heat that I’d say is less spicy than sriracha. I couldn’t notice much of the bean paste flavor that I’ve come to generally prefer. By default the dish is cooked with minced pork. I thought it was ok, and liked the silky tofu they used rather than the more firm tofu used by others. All said, I would’ve said I’d order this dish again despite its flavor profile not being among my favorites - but then a few hours later I started to feel a stomach ache, and I did not overate and this was the only dish I had. Of course your own mileage may vary because my aging digestive system seems less tolerant of new things!
