I do not understand why this Chinese restaurant has 4.1 stars and they sell old food. I literally had to throw both of my orders in the garbage after eating some. Not knowing how bad it was. The fried chicken had some kind of black bacteria that my boyfriend noticed after tasting 🤢🤢 the rice had a garbage smell to it with garlic sauce for a cover up. The shrimp were extremely chewy, we felt like we were chewing for so long before spitting it out. It smelled so bad that I had to take my garbage out IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called the store to notify and they did offer to give me my money back but ONLY IF I GAVE THE FOOD BACK but what did they want old food back for ? 🤔 it’s clear that this is a normal cycle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never leave bad reviews but this one right here took the cake !!!

Im born & raised NYC. This is my Favorite Chinese spot in the entire city! When I ask for my go to order anywhere else it’s never as good or as reasonably priced. The same crew has been here for decades & the costumer service is excellent from my friends here at china king. Couldn’t recommend a better place in Harlem!

I went here for lunch and I got the orange chicken with pork fried rice special which was $10 The food came quick and it tasted good!

It is a great take out Chinese food place and not expensive. order the flat noodles with shrimp, vegetable dumplings and they were so tasty. I did not have to wait long so that is nice. The employers are friendly.

The guy seems like a nice guy, but I've never had worse Chinese food in my life . Beef lomein was mushy , soaked in sauce and EXTREMELY salty. EXTREMELY EXTREMELY salty. And I had such an appetite for lomein, picked a good rated restaurant, AND checked the pictures. The picture of the lomein looked great . I called and picked up in 5 minutes . Maybe somebody ordered with extra sauce and didn't pick it up . It had to be the case . I feel so stupid for eating instead of returning it .

As an Asian who grow up in Asian. I don’t really eat American style Chinese food. Today I went to the next door get some carrot cake, and saw this place, I bring it all the way back to Brooklyn, veggie lo mein still so good even after 1 hr travel. Probably the best American style takeout Chinese I ever had! Clean, delicious and affordable! 10/10

I’ve been here several times and always lunch time and crowded. Lunch special menu with great choice and very reasonable. More importantly food here is solid and I can trust this chef here. Over more staffs work efficiently and friendly. I recommend this for lunch but surely dinner would be pleasant.

Hunan Kitchen on Lexington Avenue offers an exceptional dining experience. The seating arrangement is excellent, ensuring comfort during your meal. The staff goes above and beyond, displaying friendliness and thoughtfulness throughout your visit. Today, I savored their sliced fish paired with white rice and sweet and sour soup from the lunch menu—a delightful combination of flavors. The dishes are consistently served piping hot and beautifully plated, adding to the overall enjoyment. On occasion, I indulge in combining two lunch specials, finding the ox tongue particularly delicious and refreshing when served cold. Overall, Hunan Kitchen is truly amazing, delivering outstanding cuisine alongside top-notch service, making it a must-visit destination for any food enthusiast.

Dimsum Garden in Lexington is an absolute gem! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every dish we ordered was delicious, from the dumplings to the stir-fried noodles. The soup dumplings were a standout—perfectly juicy and packed with flavor. The service was great as well. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Even though the restaurant was busy, our food came out quickly and piping hot. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot for a casual meal or a special occasion. Prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service. If you’re craving authentic dim sum, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend!

We walked earlier this evening and it wasn’t too busy. We go there around 5 something. Very nice staff. Food was good. It was treat. One of the better dim sum places I’ve been to in the city. The fried options weren’t oily at all. Price was fair for dim sum. Lots of options for vegetarians. I’d go back again.

The owner was so nice and this was really good. The place was cozy and food was made really quickly! My friend also really liked her food and she’s usually pretty picky about what she eats. I’d give it 10 stars if I could :)

We tried Korean tofu stew, orange beef and general Tso’s chicken tonight. The soup was pretty nice. The broth was boiling hot and spicy. The tofu was silky. There were also some kimchi, and snow peas in side. The orange beef was okay. The batter was a bit too thick and oily. The flavor was fine. I couldn’t taste much of the orange peel. The whole dish was too greasy for my liking. The general Tso’s chicken was nice. We got it with white meat only. The flavor was nice, about average. Just like the orange beef, it was also greasy. Overall, it was an okay restaurant. The server was nice and friendly.

Overall what a terrible experience! Firstly such a stressful experience to even get the food waited for over an hour because delivery driver was not given clear instructions on where the address was. Secondly serious health and safety concern there was a long black hair in the dumplings dish! Pictured below how can you even send someone something like this without checking first ? Absolutely disgusting. Also rude guy on the phone as well. On top of all of this I was overcharged by a significant amount.

The General Tsos chicken was a 10/10, really flavorful. Ordered here a couple of times and have also been there twice. Very friendly people. Once they accidentally delivered noodles instead of fried rice, but overall a very good restaurant with diligent employees. Huge Gluten Free menu, which is great

Stopped in here for lunch today with the folks. It was a good experience, but I wasn't blown away by the food. I ordered their fish and chips and got the thin fries, as opposed to the steak fries. The fish was battered and fried nicely. It had a nice crunch and the fish itself was tender. It didn't have a lot of flavor though. The fries were solid, but again, not a ton of flavor. They were fried well. They had a great crisp to them. But they simply packed a punch of flavor, which is weird because they were seasoned. The coleslaw was delicious. I like a sweet slaw and theirs is definitely on the sweet side. Really enjoyed it. Wish I was given a larger portion. But I'm simply being greedy there. We received great service from the lady behind the bar. I found it odd she was waiting tables, but she was quick and efficient. She did a great job of seeing when I had an empty cup and had me filled up quickly. All in all, a positive experience. I might go back here depending. They have an advantage of being open on a Sunday. Most of the higher quality restaurants here in Mansfield aren't.

We were seated quickly upon arrival, and I appreciated the laid-back, welcoming atmosphere. The background music—mostly hits from the '90s—added a fun nostalgic vibe that really set the tone for a relaxed dining experience. To start, the spinach dip was delicious and definitely a standout. The shrimp chips were also excellent—crispy and fresh—and the cocktail sauce had just the right amount of kick to enhance the flavor of the entree. However, I was very disappointed with the Reuben sandwich. For a menu item priced at $18, I expected something much more thoughtfully prepared. Unfortunately, it was a mess. The sauerkraut was overwhelming, the corned beef came in uneven chunks rather than proper slices, and the Thousand Island dressing was barely there. I had requested jalapeños to be added, and instead of being incorporated into the sandwich, they were served raw and on the side. It felt more like an afterthought than a custom order. If a kitchen isn’t able to prepare a classic sandwich like a Reuben properly, it might be best to remove it from the menu rather than leave customers paying premium prices for something that falls short of even basic expectations. That said, the staff was friendly and attentive, and our server did a great job throughout the meal. There’s definitely potential here, especially with the strong starters and atmosphere, but the execution of key menu items needs serious attention.

In a word, yes. Yes, the food is delicious. Yes, their prices are reasonable. Yes, my order was prepared in a quick and timely manner. Yes, I would recommend this to anyone looking for Chinese food in Mansfield. Yes, I will be back many many times. Edit: Came back for lunch again. This time I ordered chicken curry, sweet 'n sour chicken, and an egg roll. Mostly positive here, but probably not as good of an experience as the first time. The sweet 'n sour chicken was good. The sauce was tasty and not overly sweet. That's my biggest issue with some Asian restaurant's sweet 'n sour sauce. It can be as sweet as candy sometimes. The chicken itself wasn't the best. It was a little dry, and the breading was a little to chewy for my liking. Not bad, but not great either. The curry was tasty, but it tasted almost like a regular stir fry. There wasn't a lot distinguishing this as a legitimate Asian curry. Perfect heat level really dampened my disappointment though. The egg roll was the best thing today. It was perfect. It had great flavor and a serious crunch on the outside. Loved the egg roll. I'll definitely be back to try out more items.

The food was amazing, I highly recommend! We’ve been trying to find a place in Mansfield that does it right and this is it!! Everyone definitely give it a try, you won’t regret:)

We ordered delivery Saturday night 11/30/24 at 7PM and when I called at 830PM the order system messed up and never gave them my order. They promptly made my food and got it to me. Mistakes happen but it definitely wasn't their fault. Edit: This happened a second time. Once is a mistake twice is a fault on their end that they haven't corrected. Their solution was for me to call the next time I order online. If I wanted to talk to someone on the phone I wouldn't order online. They were telling me it was my fault the order was set for the next day. I can't understand how that could be my issue but I will not order from them in the future.

I ordered over $32 + $5 tip worth of food tonight. 2 orders of the chicken on a stick, a pint of sesame chicken and shrimp fried rice. The chicken on a stick was charred to the point of being burnt, it was overcooked and the sesame chicken was overcooked where it was dry and like chewing leather. I called them back & they sent a replacement order of the sesame chicken and an order of chicken on a stick. It came to me the same way, burnt, overcooked and dry. I was very disappointed. I didn't call them back again because they couldn't get it right on the second try. What would've they done on the third try??? At least the shrimp fried rice was edible. I have been ordering from Min's a long time and love their food. Never have I received food that was unedible. They must have a new chef. I won't be ordering from them anymore. At least until they get their old chef back or get someone else that knows how not to overcook the food. Cutting up the chicken into the same size pieces will help. That way they all cook at the same rate. Total disappointment. Before placing your orders, find out if they have a new chef, that doesn't overcook or burn the food.

They definitely need to work on their greeting because I just walked in there not too long ago and the man infront seemed bothered by my arrival -almost like he was irritated or something. Didnt cook something that I asked him for and did not give me the sauce that I requested. Very rude. I will not be going back to this place.

When you come to this place, It gives you an authentic feeling. Very hospitable hosts and it is a nice place to for takeout's mainly. Its our favorite place plus its a local small business trying to sustain itself and I believe we should support for their good Cause.
