This is our favorite Indian restaurant in central Jersey. Hands down. And we have been to most of them. As a vegetarian/vegan family, the menu is fantastic. It's about a 30 minute drive that we will taking many times in the future. ❤️🧡💛💚🩵🙏🏻

It’s one of the hidden secrets of this town . Quality homemade Indian food for folks who just want the authentic experience of Gujrati cuisine. Would also recommend their Dosas. It’s freshly made and the masala is delicious!!!!! Ask for their Gujrati menu for one of the best potato curries I had in NJ !!!

First time visiting this place but I know the area very well. The food was good. It was not over seasoned, which made it better.

The food here is amazing! They only offer take-out, but that shouldn't stop you from having some of the best Chinese food in the area! YUM!

Food is so-so (I had beef chow mein and was pretty mild taste). Interior is pretty sketchy (thought the were closed at first). But hot food under $10, if was fine. They don’t take card if less than $10 though

Ordered a lunch special on a Thursday around noon. Reasonable price. The food came out very hot temperature wise. The vegetable rice was nice and fluffy. The woman serving at the counter was very friendly and spoke great English.

I took a long break from eating Chinese food and unfortunately this place reminded me of why I did it in the 1st place I recently ordered from them and the 1 few times wasn’t too bad But u have noticed how dirty and disorganized their kitchen is Yesterday I ordered again and every bite I took was almost like I took a bite of sand Like a if they dropped my food on a dirty floor and picked up and gave me it After further inspection I found a peace of plastic in my food I immediately throw it in the trash NEVER AGAIN!! Chinese people will served you anything for money!!

My husband and I ordered a wonton soup, orange chicken, Sechuan chicken and fried rice. The broth was good but the wontons were very thick and not tasty at all. The orange and sechuan were good but the fried rice was horrible. Who taught them how to make it?? I am sharing a pic of what fried rice should look like and what we got. For $43 we should have gotten something much better.

Don’t let the modest exterior fool you; this Chinese restaurant is the real deal. I heard of it from my friends at the Woks of Life, and I can see why that family has this place on their radar. The whole fish with homemade chili sauce was incredible (though not too spicy at all!) and the cold appetizers were the perfect foil. I had jelly noodles and cucumber and both were very good. You know the restaurant is authentic when boiled peanuts and tea come out right off the rip. HIGHLY recommend this place. Other diners’ food also looked and smelled very good. Wish I lived closer so I could try more! If you’re looking for General “Sows,” I’m not sure this is your spot, but if you’re looking for Hunan cuisine straight out of Changsha then give Fortune Cookies a go. Side note: I did not actually receive any fortune cookies after my meal, so set your expectations accordingly.

Fortune Cookies is tucked away, far from the hustle and bustle of the nearby mall. Don’t let the exterior fool you—this restaurant serves authentic Chinese food. The string beans (my go-to dish at every Chinese restaurant) were exceptionally well-flavored and cooked. The other dishes my partner ordered were also delicious, but the string beans definitely stood out! They were also kind enough to allow my small service dog to dine with us.
