This used to be our go-to Chinese take-out place since 2019 but as of recently, it seems that the quality of their food has declined. The lo-mein is overly greasy with no flavor, fried rice is not fried but steamed and the spare ribs soaking in oil. We’ve switched to Ming’s Town or Lo’s Garden and have been happier.

My regular Chinese take out was closed and I really wanted curry shrimp, so I looked on Google for another one near me, well I found gold. This food was the best I've had in years. The shrimp were super fresh and big. The fried rice was exceptionally good, and so was the curry shrimp dish. The staff was pleasant also. I highly recommend this Chinese take out restaurant...

I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. On a busy Friday night, the team was completely disorganized and seemed overwhelmed by the volume of orders (with about 8+ workers all bricking and yelling in their native language). Pick-up orders that were placed an hour in advance were delayed by 45 minutes or more, with no clear communication to waiting customers. The staff appeared confused and struggled to manage food tickets efficiently, leaving a crowd of frustrated patrons. It was beyond ridiculous! I’ve never seen a Chinese take-out operate inefficiently. I understand Fridays/Saturdays are busy, but better planning and coordination are necessary to handle high demand. This experience made it hard to trust the restaurant with future orders, and I hope they address these issues soon.

I placed an order and bc there was a minimum I got three things totaling 23$. The tuna roll was so fishy didn’t even eat it. The edamame was good. And then the orange chicken was so gross. There was slivers of orange skins all throughout so I had to pick at the food. I accidentally ate one made me nauseous so I threw it out too. It was like general tso with orange skins. Would never order again.

Be very careful if you go here! I had a staple in my sushi! I paid with a card but they didn’t want to put it back on my card for some reason and wanted to give me cash. probably to be sneaky about it or something. i’m lucky that i didn’t swallow it; or a kid!!!! p.s sorry for the gross picture just wanted to warn people! won’t be coming here ever again! They were also very rude!

Being from Hawaii I know that my standards are a little different than your average NJ gal. That said, I am so happy I tried Lo’s Garden!! We ate in, the staff was very attentive and patient. Miso soup was the best I’ve had since Waikiki. The gyoza, edamame, and tempura were just what we expected. The chicken curry does have a fusion vibe, Japanese curry with a Chinese flair. And the Kim Chi… SO FRESH. I would come back just for Kim chi and a bowl of rice.

Must be new owners or management. They must’ve changed the portion sizes and the size of the chicken pieces for example, the chicken with bean sprouts: I couldn’t tell which was the chicken or the bean sprouts And the same goes for chicken with black bean sauce. The amount of chicken in each dish wouldn’t even fill a Dixie cup. I gave them three chances over 2 months because I had assumed the owners possibly were on vacation. Bad move China 88 to be so cheap. It will be closed or sold shortly, is my prediction.

Great food - classic Chinese food. Hunan, garlic chicken, hot and sour soup etc. Delicious!

Absolutely delicious! This place offers all of the dishes you're accustomed to seeing at your favorite Chinese restaurant...BUT... they have an amazingly extensive vegan/vegetarian menu that is to die for! I wish I lived closer as I'd go at least once or twice a week. I most definitely highly recommend!

The absolute pinnacle of vegetarian food. I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a young boy, and the sweet woman still remember my order even after years of me not going there. Warm service with the tastiest food~

While the food tastes great. What we are paying for it we should be entitled to more meat. I ordered house rice and really couldn't find the meat. It was speckled meat. And the egg rolls should be called cabbage and carrots roll....NO MEAT!! They must be struggling to stay afloat so cheat us and keep the lights on I guess. It should be called the Meatless Gourmet!

Chinese Gourmet is absolutely the best spot in the area. The service is top notch, incredibly polite and thoughtful staff. Delivery was fast and the driver made sure everything was in order. I recommend this place to anyone who asks me where to eat in Point Pleasant!

I love it here I've been coming for years the food is always fresh and full of flavor with good fast service. I've tried many appetizers and entrées, as well as desserts a few favorite of mine are curry puffs with the dipping sauce (ask for extra it's so good) satays are also delicious. For an entrees pad see-ew (mine and my boyfriend favorite) drunken noodle, panang curry, mussaman curry and wok basil. I also highly recommend mango sticky rice or the fried banana with caramel sauce for something sweet after dinner. I also love getting food to go from here to enjoy at home.

The best Thai food in the area. Always fresh and delicious! So many options to choose from and great pricing. If you are in the area, you must stop! Lunch specials are great!

Ordered from Tony’s for years never had a problem with a cheesesteak ordered Thursday night a cheesesteak with fried onions got a hold of the cousin of the owner today and he was extremely rude, and he kept telling me that the onions that they make are fried the way that my sandwich came when you can clearly tell they were hard uncooked onions Then repeatedly wanted to tell me that that’s how fried onions come lol Are we in a twilight zone?? As you can see in the photo of the onion is sitting in my hand, hard as can be!!! Won’t be getting no food from them ever again Disgusting

picked up a pizza on my way home from work on a friday, showed up super early (yolo) but the pie was ready. the staff was friendly, despite the rush, and i was in & out in no time flat! got home with it and everyone RAVED about the pizza it was delicious!!

If you live in Brick, Point, or any surrounding area and have not tried Federico’s, shame on you. But shame on me for driving by this place almost daily and not stopping in. This is the place when a new neighbor asks you, “what’s your pizza place” I was driving by and saw Federico’s and remembered that a buddy of mine from work said that’s where he goes and it’s delicious. I stopped in, grabbed a sausage slice, l devoured it on the way home and within a couple hours I was back ordering a whole pie with sausage. Phenomenal taste and quality. Nice and thin with a perfect under carriage. I am not one bit ashamed to admit I am going back today for a cheesesteak. Trust me people you will not be disappointed

Spoke to the owner who completely accommodated my request for last minute same day catering for my friends who suffered a great loss. He was so helpful in guiding me with what to order and the family is so very appreciative. Many thanks. Will frequent again.

1st time visiting. Def not impressed. Vegetable fried rice was dark brown hard and not tasty at all. Will never go back again. Very expensive and not worth it.. TIMING KITCHEN IS 100XS BETTER!!!! Terrible odor in the building will never go there again..

The place is very dirty. Table and chairs were sticky and gross. Afraid to use restroom. Waitress was nice. Manager was yelling at someone in kitchen.
