I’ve eaten Chinese take out at many places around the area but this spot has the best wonton soup by far. The wontons are super soft and tender with a juicy meat filling, paired with a light, savory broth. Definitely recommend, it’s an underrated gem on their menu👀

Went here this weekend and we ordered a Combination General TSO with fried rice, egg roll with extra sauce and cooked soft. Also ordered a large Pepper Steak with Onions that came with a pint of white rice. I had the General TSO and let me say it was awesome! The chicken were nice big pieces and not over cooked. I had to actually use a knife to cut them they were so big. I enjoyed the extra sauce in the meal to mix my rice with. My friend said he enjoyed the pepper streak, but from my observation there was not enough streak in his meal. It felt like the ratio was probably a good 35% streak and 65% peppers and onions. Maybe even 30/70. The piece I tried did test good and the peppers cooked just right. There was a lot of sauce in the steak tray maybe for the rice? I highly recommend eating here as I enjoyed my meal very much. They have new menus, so don’t go by what’s in the google menu section. Be careful. Hopefully they’ll update them properly.

Listen, this was my 1st time ordering from here and everything I ordered was the best Chinese food I’ve tasted in years!!! I ordered the large wonton Soup and small egg drop wonton soup. The broth was the most tastiest full filling soup. I was shocked to find out it had pieces of roast pork and scallions in it as the place where I’m from dropped the ball with these additives that are supposed to be in the soup. Not only that you get 3 wontons in a small verses the 2 wontons that my local area sells. This was way more than I bargained for. I also ordered the fried chicken wings and teriyaki chicken and everything tasted so fresh and juicy. The fried chicken was Seasoned to perfection inside and out. 10/10 I do recommend. I will no longer be ordering from my local Chinese restaurant as this is thee best I’ve ever tasted. Thank you New No.1 for the exceptional service and great tasting quality food.

This is a very good Chinese restaurant! The food is yummy. The service is friendly and fast. Inside is clean. Plenty of free parking in the back and a few spots out front. Perfect pricing for Lunch time. Good selection of americanized chinese food. But the prices at dinner time are super expensive so i had to drop this by 1 star. Just eat here at lunch time for a perfectly reasonable $7 to $8 per person meals. At dinner time, the prices jump sky high to nearly $40 for 2 meals. And funny story about this place... the first time i visited here maybe 10 years ago, there was 1 flourescent lightbulb partially burned out at the front counter on the far right side. This partially burned out bulb generated a very loud and annoying buzz sound. Its a constant buzzing noise. If you ever watched Better Call Saul, its the same sound you hear when Chuck enters any room with lights on and electricity flowing. The funny part of this story is that the exact same lightbulb was never replaced in all 10 years so far. And replacing that one lightbulb will instantly stop the buzzing sound! Those bulbs cost around $5 at Home Depot and the newer ones are LED which last almost forever and have no buzzing sound 🙂 The only nearby place i consider better is Chen's Yummy Chinese House, but thats technically in Dumont. Pros: Very yummy chinese food! Very friendly employees. The woman who took my order was kind, patient and friendly. Fast service. Took less than 10 mins for fresh food. Plenty of free parking nearby in the back and front. Perfect pricing $7 to $8 lunch meals Great selection of food. Cons: Way too expensive for the dinner menu! $40 for two simple meals is insane! No restroom Indoor dinning seems to be closed.

Excellent food, service and great value. Had the Mu Shu shrimp, General Tso's shrimp and hot & sour soup. I would have preferred the hot & sour soup have a little more spice and the General Tso's shrimp have some peppers.

Disgusting!! I was there last on 04/12/2025. I ordered chicken with broccoli. When I told the lady my order, she yelled my order to the chef to make my order. The chef came out. I don’t know where he came from. Then he washed his hands using the faucet on top of the stove while he was washing he’s hands all the water that he used to wash he’s hands went to the wok that he used to make my order. That’s where I turned around and left. Don’t order anything from these places. They are 🤮 disgusting.

Been going there for a while however they have stepped up a couple of beats. I had the Roast Pork Egg Foo Young, and Chicken Lo Mein and Barbecue Boneless Spare Ribs. Also another order of Chicken Wings and Roast Pork Fried Rice. I enjoyed my dinner Tremendously, the Roast Pork Fried and chicken Wings were a friends, and they said rice was a little dry. Did not finish there's. So I wanted to share a little however but from the picture Friend you moved to Slow!!!!! Thank You My Food was Outstanding and well prepared.

I got the sesame chicken and it was pretty good. The taste of the sauce tasted a little off but all in all I had a good experience. The lady in the front is super nice and the food is cooked fresh.

A value for money choice. I am surprised to see crabs with that price. The steamed fish melt in your mouth. Very good. So many choices to try. Have visited a few times now for its value

First time here. They told me the place is new. They have a variety of food starting from fish, lobster, shrimp, chicken, sushi, pork, pizza, fries, sweet plantains, chicken nuggets, frog legs, mac and cheese, and a huge variety of desserts. It was 24 dollars being that I came on a Sunday. It’s worth it. Definitely coming back.
