Oriental Wok Express
Found this unassuming restaurant / take out place on our ski trip. It’s hidden in the Mobile gas station, but is very clean and friendly. For a small take-out place, it carries a very ambitious menu, with several authentic Chinese dishes and a big sushi roll menu. All the food we ordered tasted great with good portion.
Don’t let the gas station location fool you. I just polished off probably the best chicken and broccoli I’ve ever ordered. I’ve been to China, and other Eastern countries, and I’m including those experiences. So delicious!
Happy Dumpling
Very exciting new addition to Upper Valley Asian food scene. I ordered pork soup dumplings and spicy chili oil dumplings. Delicious handmade dumplings for the most reasonable price, dough to filling ratio is great to taste, and they’re seasoned really well. Clean and organized dine-in area, owner and staffs seem very kind and helpful. Cannot wait to come back soon!
Finally an exceptional authentic dumpling restaurant. This place is an absolute GEM!This place and Han Fusion are the only Chinese restaurants I’d order from. The dumplings are simply amazing - wrappers are thin but sturdy, unlike Men at Wok where the dough is literally as thick as bao bun dough. The fillings are flavorful. The beef noodle soup is equally outstanding. Broth is extremely rich and flavorful with just the right amount of spiciness. The noodles taste like they’re hand made. And the beef… the beef just melts in your mouth. I’m also surprised they have the Taiwanese popcorn chicken, as it’s not a very common, especially in this area. It is crunchy, golden perfection on the outside, but tender and juicy inside.
Men At Wok NH
Ordered the steamed dumplings online with coconut chicken (by mistake, I wanted shrimp). The dumplings were literally the worst I’ve ever had in my entire life. The dough is as thick as bao buns and it tastes uncooked. The coconut chicken is literally just covered in canned coconut milk. A lot of those pieces are just straight up flour coating with no chicken in the middle. Absolute dog food. Edit: Shameful response from owner
