China A Go Go
This was my first time at this restaurant. I love Chinese food and order it often. I got the sweet and sour chicken lunch special with rice and it was AMAZING! Very fresh and lots of flavor. I’ll definitely come here again.
In my experience coming here they’ve never messed up an order they make the best quality taro boba Ive had, in fact this is my favorite place to get boba. It’s very low key and has some comfy seating. Their claw machines are cool, and they always take our orders with haste. 10/10
Cook On Wok (Chinese Cusine)
My wife talked to me into going here and I don't really like Chinese food very much. However I was pleasantly surprised. This place was reasonably priced the total bill for three people was about $60 and that was with an appetizer also. It was so much food that we ended up taking a decent amount with us at the end and I was full. It tasted good and the server was very nice also. It is a nice place that I will probably go back to again in the future.
The food was absolutely horrible. Rarely do I ever get fried rice so bland. I ended up throwing my plate in the trash after a few bites. There are too many good Chinese restaurants in Vegas to settle for Cook on Wok. Also, most of the pictures are posted by the restaurant. This is what you actually get.
China Hot Wok
This place is too cute! The drunk was good, but I went for the claw machines. Token prices : fair. Starts at 1 to $1, but you get a discount if you buy over $20. There are regular and mini claw machines, and the carousel stop ones. There is also gashapon machines! I got a little psyduck to build! I will be back
We decided to give this place a try after some food reviews. Pros, the food was ready quickly. And the staff was nice. We enjoyed the crab Rangoon, egg rolls, egg flower soup and salt and pepper wings. My husband didn't care for them as they had too much breading where most places do not have breading at all. Oh and they also accommodated a dish I had ordered. Cons, the shrimp was overcooked and rubbery in the few dishes we had with them. Everything pretty much had the same flavor if that even makes sense. The pork fried rice was like the pork was a smoky burnt flavor. For us, we wouldn't go back.
H&K Peninsula
April 5, 2025- Saturday. Second time coming here since the price is super affordable. As of April 5, 2025- they're having a promotion of ACYE Dim-Sum for $25.99+$1.50 (Tea/person). Overall, the food was okay- not the best but you pay for what you get. My personal favorites: CHICKEN FEET- It was a bit over seasoned and too sweet, but still good. MANGO PUDDING- 10/10, no complaints RICE NOODLE ROLLS- I enjoyed the texture of the noodle rolls, however the filling shrimp/beef/BBQ pork could be improved. ==================================================== Everything else on the menu is consumable but it's more of a hit or miss- either the skin is too soggy/gooey or the inside is overly seasoned/overly cooked. If you're looking for affordable Dim-Sum or it's your first time- definitely would recommend it for what you're paying. The service and the team is 10/10. If they could improve on the food quality, I could see this place doing big things!
My new favorite neighborhood Chinese restaurant. Don’t let the huge size of the restaurant intimidate you for a Chinese restaurant. It looks like a banquet hall, but they have reasonably priced lunch rice plates for $15- Also AYCE dim-sum for $25 during certain hours and days. The dim sum variety is less but it’s still AYCE. I like how their menu is a paper menu to mark your dishes. The food is not like other places. I’m not sure exactly why, the food tastes lighter. Sure you still get the same typical Chinese dishes but the instead of tasting just the sauce you actually taste the fresh vegetables and meat. The white rice even tastes better than other places. Its new, so not crowded at because not so many people know about it but it’s a perfect place for large groups or family dinners. It’s crab season, so we had the ginger crab, pea sprouts and Singapore noodles. Nice portions and all delicious!
