Absolutely amazing experience! The food was incredibly delicious and cooked to order — fresh, flavorful, and served piping hot. The service was fast and friendly; they really made us feel welcome. And the desserts? Simply awesome! A perfect finish to a great meal. Highly recommend!
This place is absolutely awesome! They offer an incredible variety of small plates inspired by cuisines from all over Asia. It’s a fusion concept, but the flavors feel very authentic. The lamb chops and lobster fried rice were outstanding, and the dumplings were delicious. Every dish looks as amazing as it tastes. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore unique and flavorful dishes!
California Noodle House
I wanted Asian in the Fremont area, and since I haven't been to California Noodle, we decided to dine here. Service was good and the workers were all friendly. Food: Oxtail Stew OG Poke Nachos I noticed looking at photos that the rice that comes with the stew had furikaki. Whew! I like plain rice with my stews so I ordered it plain. The stew was ok. The Oxtail was definitely tender. It came with 3 bones and the stew was ok. Something was missing. The Poke Nachos were huge!!! Good portion of Poke and won ton chips. And the drizzled sauce was equally as delicious. I enjoyed every bite, and I would come back just for this. Overall, the menu selection looks delicious, and I want to try more.
This place reminds me of the little shop in Hawaii where I had a wonderful dish of Ramen noodles. Perfectly done. And big. Couldn’t finish it all.
Kung Pao Wok
Lo mein and mixed vegetables soggy with zero flavor. Flaming chicken also no flavor at all. First time in my life I had to use pepper on Chinese food. Probably an insult to call this Chinese. On top of that way over-priced.
water is a precious commidity to be sold like the price of gold here. penny wise but pound foolish. perhaps a read of above and beyond service is in order... the customer is always right on matters of taste if id seen the stars wouldnt have even gone here, i was hungry and was fooled.... there is a reason no one is in line
Lanai Express at Fremont Casino
Located in the Fremont Hotel, and while it's budget-friendly, it felt very reminiscent of fast-food chains like Panda Express. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed; the food looked like it had been sitting out for a while. Instead of opting for the noodles or fried rice, I went with white rice, General Tso's chicken, and beef and broccoli. Sadly, I found the flavors lacking, and the food wasn't served hot enough for my taste. I've had breakfast here before, and it was decent, so I think if you stick to options like burgers, chicken dishes, or breakfast sandwiches and burritos, you might have a better experience. Overall, if you're looking for a quick and affordable meal, Lanai Express might fit the bill, but be prepared for a casual fast-food vibe. Extra star for the service!
Spent $16 on a cheese steak that is dripping oil. The bun is soggy and it took them forever to bring out. I am severely disappointed and expected better.
