Taipei Asian Cuisine
It's a very sad story. Taipei was easily one of our favorite restaurants in Omaha. However, over the last year, the quality and flavor of their dishes have greatly declined. Last night, my family was hosting family from Arizona, and like many times before, we ordered takeout from Taipei. When we opened the food containers everything looked quite normal and we were looking forward to sharing this meal with our family. A couple of hours after finishing dinner, however, a couple of us felt ill. During the night four out of five of us got violently ill. When we called the restaurant to notify them of our experience (because we truly loved their food in the past) the manager argued with us and refused to take any ownership of the situation. He basically said there was NO way our illness could have been from them. Needless to say, never, ever going back. So disappointed.
Recently in town from Arizona visiting family in Omaha. They recommended Tai Pei for great Chinese food. “Best Chinese Food in Omaha” several hours after eating, (all chicken dishes) all the family that ate the food became violently ill. Worst night of my life and traveling the next day after a night of sickness. Do not recommend.
