Wave Bistro
Top-notch food. Very high quality and unique Asian cuisine. One of the best restaurants of any type in Omaha. I have never had a bad or even mediocre dish here. The pan seared dumpling appetizer was excellent. The dumplings are tasty with a light batter. The portion size is ample for an appetizer and probably enough for 3 people to leave room for the entree. I ordered the Yakisoba noodles with chicken. They were not stingy on the chicken and somehow manage to elevate what would appear to be an ordinary dish of noodles into a delight from the first bite to the last. The portion size is large. The bread rolls are some of the best anyway as they taste like a light and fluffy funnel cake. No butter is needed in my opinion. The restaurant is family owned and the service is usually welcoming, attentive, and professional. Try this place tonight if you have not already.
Our waiter did not rush us today, checked on us several times to make sure everything was correct and asked if we needed anything, treated us like royalty. I love coming to this restaurant. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is soothing and relaxing, and the service Makes you feel like you are important to them.
