Chinese Express
⸻ I’ve lived in Clayton all my adult life and had never ordered from this place before. On Easter Sunday, there weren’t many dining options available, so I decided to give it a try and ordered a few items. The Mongolian beef was more like a soup, with an odd greenish tint meat and the meat tasted like it had been microwaved. The noodles were completely flavorless and also seemed to have been microwaved. By the time I drove home and opened the food—about half an hour later—it was still burning hot, which confirmed my suspicion.microwave I was surprised to see the cooks, who appeared to be Mexican, using the microwave for nearly every dish in restaurant . It’s disappointing to see even some Asian restaurants relying so heavily on the microwave. I was genuinely shocked.
Large portion of combination plate. Ordered to-go general two’s chicken. Large crispy chicken pieces, broccoli, good sauce but not spicy (ordered regular, it said spicy). White rice is basic good white rice, not jasmine. Crab ragoon only sweet cream cheese filling, placed in same container as food, causes them to get softer. Still tastes very good. Great price for portion of food! Placed order online. Easy.
