P.F. Chang's
I stopped in today and got lucky enough to get Alana! Alana was so helpful from the time we walked in till the time we walked out! It being my first time she recommended some great dishes and drink to my boyfriend and I! I’m so happy we listened because the shrimp dumplings were everything she said they would be! Nothing short of amazing and delicious! She also recommended the Zen margarita which was also amazing I felt good as I was drinking it! Although it was my boyfriend’s first time she got him to try something new and he loved it! That spicy chicken was delicious! Alana checked in on us frequently even though she was busy. She boxed my food up for also put together a to go order I made after eating (because the food is just that great I had to have some at home for later)! If you happen to stop in this location ask for Alana she will steer you in the right direction! She kept smiles on our face every time she came to the table. I can only leave 5 stars but she deserves her 10’s! Thank you Alana we’ll be back soon to visit you!
Visited on a Sunday for dinner—it was pretty quiet. We ordered crispy beans, veg spring rolls, signature lo mein with tofu, sesame chicken with rice, and banana spring rolls for dessert. Crispy beans were a big letdown—too oily and undercooked even after a replacement. Spring rolls were just okay. The signature lo mein was flavorful and delicious, and my friends enjoyed the sesame chicken. The highlight was definitely the banana spring rolls—crispy, tasty, and paired perfectly with pineapple coconut ice cream. Overall, a decent experience with some hits and misses.
China Wok Chinese Restaurant
This is just like North County Chinese food! I have been looking for you for sooo long! The restaurant was clean….the service was great…very friendly and smiled…. Food was made fresh. Everyone at my house said this rice reminds me of Lisa’s on Jennings Station Road from back in the day. The crab Rangoon are the non sweet. I have been looking for the non sweet for a while. They are the best! This will be our new spot!
The crab racoon & egg rolls both tasted like they were sitting in a warmer for hours. The chicken was gross. Definitely won't order again.
New Ho's Chinese Kitchen
Tried this place out last night and I'm happy to say it lives up to the hype. The food was amazing and I'm very picky when it comes to Chinese food. The veggies were super fresh and flavors were delicious. I was a little disappointed that the crab cheese wontons didn't come with sauce, but for the first time ever it turned out I didn't even need it! I thoroughly enjoyed them without, you could even see the little chunks of crab. The veggie lo mein was exactly what I've been looking for but haven't found elsewhere. The orange chicken had a really good flavor sauce but I personally wouldn't order it again because of the texture. I'm also ordered extra veggies but they were nowhere to be found... As you can see, a few minor criticisms but overall I'm very happy to have found this place and it will be our new go-to spot for Chinese! I look forward to trying new things from their menu.
Sesame chicken and veggie fried rice was the best I’ve ever had. Springfield roll and pork egg rolls were delicious. I didn’t even get to the crab Rangoon. I have enough leftover for at least two more meals, and it cost about $25. Value and outstanding food. Joanie B
Green China
I love Chinese food and I have tried a lot of different places. This one is THE best! The flavor of the General Tso's chicken is amazing. The chicken is perfectly crisp and tender at the same time. I also like that I can choose the heat level. I put in a note when ordering online to have the rice made a specific way. It is always done just as I order. Not to mention, the crab rangoon. It is SO GOOD! The cream cheese is mildly sweet and the crab is small and finely diced. The staff is attentive and the food is hot and made to order every time. Lunch prices are great for the amount of food you get. I highly recommend this spot.
This is hands down the best Chinese food in Saint Louis! Even though I live in the city, I happily make the drive just to indulge in their incredible dishes. The flavors are always spot on, the portions are generous, and the quality is unmatched. Every visit feels like a treat, and the consistency keeps me coming back. If you’re looking for top-tier Chinese cuisine, this place is absolutely worth the trip! Don’t forget your Crap Rangoon
Lucky China
None of the shrimp is deveined. 🤮 I wanted shrimp egg fu young NOT shrimp poop egg fu young. Putting this place on my list of DNE (DO NOT EAT)
Does not understand English very well so my order of course came out wrong I returned to remedy the situation and was met with attitude (why) I was a first time customer the would not make anything better and my refund was out the question she said she couldn’t find my transaction but I showed my bank statement and the back and forth continued I left after waiting almost hour on my lunch period 😵💫 and had to receive food bc I was waiting for my refund!!!!!!! Don’t go unless you want them to sneak pork in your meal and other meats smh 🤦🏾♂️
Happy China Restaurant
Online order fried shrimp appetizer, menu says 12, got 12 charged for 8. Hot and sour soup was hot and very good. Everything was very good! Will be ordering again!
My husband and I have always been ordering takeout here for years. Hands down my favorite take-out American Chinese in St. Charles County. Whether it's Christmas, or just a craving, to me, it's #1. I've never got sick from them personally and food is always hot, crispy, and fresh, especially if you order Pick-Up. The one thing I really didn't like from them was their Lo Mein. They use a lot of canned bamboo shoot which has a uric smell and taste. If you're not used to that, it can ruin the experience. I hope they can improve their recipe 🙏 My go-to personal favorites are the Combo Plates. We ordered the General Tso's Chicken and requested Extra Spicy. It didn't disappoint. It was very firey and satisfying. Also ordered the Shrimp with Garlic Sauce. I crave it a ton and it's so addictingly good with the right balance of plump juicy shrimp and crisp vegetables. Not pictured are the Crab Rangoon which I adore. Their cream cheese filling is very savory and not too much on the sweet side which goes well with everything. Please support this family run business. They are doing the best that they can ❤️ Delicious.
China Queen
The food is freaking Amazing!!!I ordered from the Luncheon Special. The black pepper chicken with an egg roll. My food is cooked to perfection ( literally). The sauce is divine, the peppers still have the flavor and crunch, the onion is crunchy and flavorful! I’ve never tasted such good Chinese food in my life until I stumbled across this fine place. The rice is nice and fluffy cooked correctly, The egg roll is hot and crispy. The crunchy brown texture is on point! It’s good! I ordered the egg foo young for lunch tomorrow. I’m sure it’s just as tasty. I will be driving 30 min to order . I wished they just add more peppers or dice them up to-add more crunchy stuff to the meal more of pepper chicken . Cashier was very chatty and friendly!
Mgmt changed, not happy with shrimp egg foo young. Gravy smells like soy sauce and patty semi burned.
China Buffet
The food was fresh and amazing even the sushi... Also they were so kind to an elderly couple turned up the TV put there show on so they could feel comfortable it was so kind and nice to see absolutely beautiful people that run this business always come always good food
Super friendly, food was hot, the one gentleman saw that I was looking for something and as soon as it was ready he came over to the table to inform me that it was ready.
Emperor China
This place is awesome. The customer service here is amazing. Great family run business The woman that takes the order is very sweet. Her husband and daughters I am assuming, cooks some delicious food. I been coming here for about 3 years picking up deliveries. Tonight was the first night I ever ordered from here. I ordered sweet and sour chicken dinner combination that came with fried rice and egg roll I ordered I bag of 6 crab rangoon . The chicken was cooked perfectly. Plenty of sweet and sour sauce for the chicken and enough to dip my rangoon’s & egg roll The egg roll was amazing. I would definitely be ordering other menu items in the near future.
I'd give all the stars except the to go order was piping hot in plastic. I can't even imagine the amount plastics leached into the food. Probably won't order to go again, but would dine in. Likely the best tasting Chinese food in St Charles County.
88 China
Had given them a great review last year but tried again and it was under cooked even the egg roll. Called them was told will remake but refused just gave me refund. The 1st two visits the food was good. Very disappointing!
I've bounced around different Chinese places in the area. Most of them were just okay. I decided to try some different ones because I felt like I was getting the same sort of cheap food. When I tried China 88, I stuck to it. Everything just tastes better from this place. Food, vegetables taste fresher. My hubs loves their versions of chicken on a stick. Its a better taste over all that we're getting.
No. 1 Chinese Restaurant
I recently found this place, very good food, very reasonable prices. I highly recommend them, try em, you won't be disappointed.
Food was really good at a great price! We ordered take out, and it was ready in less than 10 mins. This will be my new go-to spot for Chinese food.
101 Asian Cuisine
Ordered the family meal. Soup tasted good but no dried noodles as crackers offered. Egg roll over cooked and greasy. Left a pool of grease on plate. Ordered mildly spicy 3 and no spice tasted. Had peppers on dish but didn't tasted like cooked with it. Food was mediocre at best. Didn't even offer extra napkina.
I really wanted to enjoy my experience at 101 Asian Cuisine, and to be fair, the service was absolutely outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt welcome throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to the same standard. I ordered the shrimp fried rice, and while the portion was generous, several of the shrimp hadn’t been deveined, which was disappointing. It’s a small detail, but one that makes a big difference. The pork egg roll left a lot to be desired. It tasted like something you’d get from a cheap, frozen vendor—definitely not freshly made. The texture and flavor just screamed "mass-produced." The biggest letdown, though, was the orange chicken. It was clear from the first bite that this dish started off frozen and prepackaged. The sauce was overly sweet, and the chicken itself lacked any juiciness and was instead, dry. I’m sure there are better dishes on the menu, and based on the exceptional service, I’d be willing to give them another shot. But for now, I can’t recommend the dishes we tried. Hopefully, next time the food will match the level of care and attention their staff provides.
