Zang Chi
This is my first ordering from here. I ordered the Sweet and Sour chicken dinner with vegetable fried rice; it comes with an egg roll, an order of orange chicken by itself, and 2 vegetable rolls with a sprite. All for about $34 for delivery. Which is not bad. This food is great. I’ll be ordering again soon. Thanks Zang Chi!
Very nice service. The food had an odd flavor.
Pei Wei Asian Kitchen
I ordered Pei Wei for delivery and the chicken in my dish was raw! I called the store and their response was extremely underwhelming. After asking for a manager I heard a lot of giggling in the background while I was waiting for someone to come to the phone. I’m not even sure the manager apologized or stated they would ensure it didn’t happen again until I commented that was why I was calling. To make matters worse because I ordered through a 3rd party app, I didn’t even get a full refund.
In the past I have strictly gotten Pei Wei for takeout. Usually through grubhub. Today, May 2nd, I decided to dine in. I must say how relieving it was to have such a casual atmosphere. You order at the counter. It’s like fast food but East Asian. After you order, you get a number sign that lets the food runners know who gets which order. It’s so low key, and I love it. Typically restaurants with any Asian food are sit down restaurants with servers working for tips. It’s nice to have a more casual environment with good food, just without the sit down aspect. I love the food. This visit, I got their spicy drunken noodles with tofu along with a four count of spring rolls.
Lulu Chinese Express
Stopped in on Christmas day to have dinner. Was seated fairly quickly and they immediately came around to take a drink orders from a card that was coming around the restaurant and we picked up a few appetizers the same way. They came over to order our entrée. It was about two hours before the entrées came. Granted they were very very busy and when we got the food it was fantastic. Regardless we never got any updates or refills during this two hour wait. However as far as the food goes it was absolutely delicious. I would put their General’s chicken up against anyone’s. Have they just taken a little bit of time to refill drinks and updated us on the order I could’ve easily given a five star.
Food looks great, but it's not. Looked like a restaurant entrance but it wasn't. If I knew it was a Dierbergs, before go in I wouldn't of. The person I talked to said it was in the back of the store, but had good food. Keep your money, A HARD PASS EVEN IF YOU STORE!!!!!!! I WOULD RATHER BE HUNGRY!!!!!!!!!!! THE WHOLE REASON WE WENT WAS THE MONGOLIAN BEEF THEY DON'T HAVE IT!!!!!!!
Panda Express
Came here because I live a hop skip jump away and got 20% off so got the mushroom chicken and paid extra for black pepper steak with chow mein. I'll let you see for yourself the horrible quality of it, i even came early hoping the food would be fresh. I'm pretty sure I just wound up getting leftovers from the prior day. I ate what I could just because I was starving but I will definitely never return. Too bad for me too because I live fairly close.
I am mostly impressed with the outdoor patio view which I experienced at this restaurant. Situated on top of a bluff, this location takes advantage of the natural landscape. Looking west—although there’s another building that gets in the way—you can still partially observe the sunset from here each evening. Parking lot is kind of limited. Food was slightly better than average: I didn’t give it five stars because the dish I desired contained old vegetables in it, which is a hard pass for me. Unfortunately, this is a common occurrence across restaurants as they mix the fresh food in with the old, instead of throwing the old food out. But I didn’t want to say anything and be a Karen about it, so I simply selected something else. I’ve found that it’s always best to enter in the store, that way you can see the entrées before they place it inside your to go box. With a drive-through, you just get what you get, which doesn’t work for me.
