Yun's Village
For the last 20+ years, we have been going to Yuns Chinese. We have always felt that the food was very good and you got enough helpings for the price. In the last year, it is bad. We have tried it 5 times and each time we found that the quality of food has gone down and the portion size has been cut and the price has gone up. One example was we got almond chicken. 70% of each piece was breading! We took off the breading and saw how thin the chicken was. They have changed the rice in the last 6 months and even though I do not notice a difference, my wife does not like the new rice. The service is still quick and fast, but since the pandemic, they no longer have a sit down restaurant and it is 100% carry out. It was told to us (never confirmed), that the restaurant was sold and maybe that is why we have seen the change. We now get our Chinese food from the golden chopstick in westland. This place is maybe 5% more cost than yuns, but the food is excellent and the portion sizes are a good size. I am not going to rule out trying yuns in the future, but for sure we will not try it anytime soon. I am hoping the quality and less breading, etc. changes back to the way it use to be.
1st time today and it was very clean inside. The last at the counter was very polite, and helpful. She even track me down when she forgot to add my eggroll. The food was excellent. The vegetable fried rice I had was the best I ever had. I didn't have to add anything to it. Will def be back!
KungFu Bros Dumplings & Noodles
I'm so glad I stumbled on this place because I was shopping in the area. I wanted something different because I live about 40 minutes away. I went to this place it's unassuming just a little cute and clean spot, but when I tell you this was the best food I had in a long long time I mean it. Everything was so flavorful and so tasty it was delicious. The presentation of the food was just as tasty looking as the pics on the menu. Now I have to make this 40-minute drive just to get a carry out. The customer service was excellent the the girl that took my order was so friendly and so helpful. I had no idea just egg fried rice will be so flavorful and picture perfect. A must try if you're in the area even if you're not I'm willing to drive all the way back to get the same thing.
Super tasty authentic Korean-style cuisine. The staff is super friendly and family owned. The service is EXTREMELY fast and the food comes out tasting fresh. If you live in the area, consider checking it out. It’s definitely worth the stop!
Golden Corral Buffet & Grill
The food was decent, and it's a great salad bar and variety of food. The "server" brings you your drink (after our first course was complete.) (Just let us get our own drinks.) They pick up plates infrequently. It was so busy that we could hardly move. It's a decent value for what you get, but I don't think we'll go to this location again.
It was our first time going to the Golden Corral. Food was good, although not very hot, and there were hot dogs buns, but no hot dogs. The staff was kind and courteous. We were seated right away and our waitress was very prompt and attentive. The restaurant was clean, as the staff worked quickly to remove used dishes and wiped the tables down. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes to eat a lot without damaging their wallet. We will be back.
