Always greeted kindly, always a great experience, I've tried a number of the different dishes, which there are MANY. The food is fantastic, have never been disappointed, prices very fair and the portions are always generous, I recommend this restaurant to everyone. Thank you so much for always providing a consistent wonderful meal🙏🏼

Absolutely the best Chinese food me and my fiancé have ever tried. Place looks a bit ran down but those are typically my favorite spots!!! Great service and super friendly people. The portions are immaculate for the price. We will be coming back next time we’re in Saginaw!!!

This is by far the best quality of Chinese Food for the best price in Saginaw. We had exceptional service ordering and the delivery driver was very courteous.Thank you so much for making dinner a breeze.

The restaurant definitely needs some work. But the portions are large, the food is good, and outside of that I have no complaints! Took the liberty of uploading their menu. Delivery for orders over $35 I believe. I'm not entirely sure how far they will deliver.

The food was good. Just a WHOLE LOT OF VEGGIES and very very small portion of actually meat. I pulled out maybe 7 pieces. Lots of onions. Crab ragoons was ONLY CREAM CHEESE. no crab. Literally. Lady was nice tho

I ordered sweet and sour shrimp combo, which included egg roll or crab cheese and the food was large proportions and super good. The temp outside is freezing balls so ordered an egg drop soup also and everything was really good and super reasonable(under $15). I definitely recommend!

I surprised my husband to a fantastic Chinese dinner, He and I had never been there before, and we were really interested in the menu because they have foods that other restaurants don't carry including duck and fish. When you walk into the restaurant the first thing you notice is how clean it is, then you just see the yellow tablecloths and how nice everything is inside the tables are too close together so that you feel like you're dining alone when you're not. I ordered the general tsos chicken in my husband got the sweet and sour chicken and then we both got wonton soups. When they presented the meal they said it on a rack with little tea light candles underneath so not only is your plates getting warmed but your food is also being warmed while you're eating it. It's just a great idea. And then to top it off we had a great waitress her name was Rebecca and she was great since I hadn't been there before I asked her for recommendations and her recommendations were very good. They have a piano a grand piano and she informed us that on Fridays and Saturday nights they play piano on those nights. We are definitely coming back and I'm going to bring my parents next time because I thoroughly think they will enjoy it. Especially if we go in the evening on a Friday or Saturday. Parking was very easy and it was easy to get to and it's right along the Saginaw River.

Food was fantastic, very reasonably priced. The piano player was so talented. The Singapore noodles were amazing and the velvet chicken chowder haunts my dreams.

Excellent service and food. I love egg drop soup, and it was some of the best I’ve had in years. Not that thick paste that has food coloring but real broth with fresh vegetables and tender egg. Very excited to come back in the future.

It’s nice to be able to dine in at a Chinese restaurant. We were a partyof three on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was not at all busy - lots of available tables. Our server was friendly. Food service was a little slow. Here is our commentary by menu selection: Sizzling Rice Soup - good Egg Rolls - ok Crab Cheese - good Fried Wontons - the meat had a bad flavor and the wontons tasted like they were fried in old oil. Spring Rolls - too greasy General Tso Chicken - pretty good, small portion Moo Shui Chicken - ok, small portion Hot Mustard - super potent Hoisin - pretty good

The service wasn't bad, but my food was. I ordered orange chicken and rice. When. I opened the box to eat it, there was hair on my chicken and a piece of metal (looked like an open staple). I called to inform them and they asked me to bring it back to them. When I went to return the food, they wasn't upset or rude about it. The manager was shocked to see what I saw. He took pictures of it. They asked if I wanted another plate. Of course I said no. They gave me a refund with no problems.

Awful location, store skimped me in fried rice, filling it only half way when the other customers bowls have more, staff refused to put more food in my bowl saying thats the most they can put in when other locations fill their bowls to the top. On top of that, my last visit there, they gave me broccoli beef with what i assume is a grub in my food. I went in and asked for a refund and they didnt even care that there was a grub in my food and rudely refunded me my money. Never eating there again.

Egg drop soup was good. Hot sour soup seemed to be missing something. Spring rolls were greasy and mushy. Hunan chicken was decent. Mu shu pork was good but pancakes were starchy and didn’t seem right. Service was just ok, we waited longer for our food than other's tables. Atmosphere is dated but adequate.

I’ve been at The Ink Shop for just over a year and this is still my go to place for lunch. I have never had a bad experience here and I eat here often. I have only ever had take out but the inside of this restaurant is beautiful! It’s probably the most authentic I’ve seen around the area. The owner is friendly and she always makes sure I have everything I need. Food is fresh and the flavor is on point. Love their won ton soup and orange chicken. Even the children portions are big! If you are in the area and like this type of cuisine, this is a must!!

Basing the review off the typical Chinese buffet experience, this place is good. Food was fresh, crab ragoons actually had a decent amount of filling in them. Sesame chicken was a little mushy, but, it IS a buffet. The biggest disappointment was there were NO cones for the ice cream, only little plastic sauce cups. The selection was vast, even having chicken nugs and pizza for the weirdos.

This place was a good find. We hadn’t had a Chinese buffet in quite a while and searched one up. It led us here. It looks rather run of the mill from the outside and you can’t really judge anything. Once inside, it’s really nice with tasteful decorations, a cool ship-shaped buffet line, and even a couple TVs. They have traditional Chinese buffet offerings, along with the obligatory chicken nuggets and Americanized stuff, sushi, and even a hibachi grill. I started with the hot and sour soup, which is a favorite of mine. Theirs is quite good, and I have had many. The dumplings were good and even the wontons were very tasty. The various other items like beef and broccoli, orange chicken, Mongolian beef, green beans (nicely crunchy), and the like were all very good. You can’t say that about a lot of places. The sushi bar has a small but effective selection including salmon, tuna, and crab nigiri. I even tried the hibachi grill and everything was cooked very well, and not overcooked. Honestly, this place for the price point is a tremendous deal. I’ve been to some really bad buffets and this is not one of them. I have to bump this rating up for the $15.99 price point on a Friday night! I will definitely think of this place next time I get the craving.

Used to come here at least every 3 weeks to a month 5 years back. Portions were great, food was great, and prices weren't bad at all. Nowadays they have small containers, higher prices, and as others have mentioned the dough balls and over breaded small bits. Usually goes something like this: bed of vegetables(to push up bread balls), Bread balls with a few good pieces here or there and the entire other half is your side; all for about 12 dollars in a small 32 oz(I think) rectangular to go container. Each Bread ball probably costs you about a dollar which pretty much sums up how many 'pieces' you get. I'll only come back at least once a year now for my favorite sauce when I get the craving, if I can find it elsewhere then I won't ever come back. Try Park Asia down the road, not as diverse in the flavor department but at least they're not scamming you with a meal that should be 6 dollars at best. btw, what's up with the kid at the register and phone? Sounds like he's either drop dead tired or just hates it there so much that he doesn't care. Sounded like a stereotypical food service teenager, kinda funny not gonna lie but it's hard to hear him on the phone he sounds so deadpan and listless.

I don’t know what happened between back then and now Because the customer service nowadays sucks. These people will lie to you just so that they can keep you from getting a refund or making an order altogether. I would never do online orders From this place. Make sure to call instead. The food has changed quite a bit from back then till now. If you like orange chicken, it’s more like orange breading barely any chicken inside. If you were to go to any other Chinese restaurant and order their orange chicken, everyone will taste differently obviously but you will know the difference because There would actually be chicken In your orange chicken when you order from any other place other than here. I used to love this place when I was a kid And I think the difference His ownership Or something because even the portions have changed not to mention the quality of food and customer service. This place used to be my favorite place To order from. Nowadays, not so much.

One of the best Chinese restaurants my family and I have ordered from in a long time. We ordered via door dash for the first time since I had a gift card and had recent surgery. All of the dishes were absolutely delicious. Showed up hot with great portions. Chicken was perfectly cooked and the best tasting crab cheese!! Egg rolls also perfectly crispy and delicious and fresh ingredients are used for all the food. Great job! We definitely will ordered again!

Everything was made perfect, rangoons and egg rolls were crispy and filled to the max. Chicken, rice, veggies were all perfect and portion sizes are generous for the price. Had it door-dashed almost 25 minutes away and all the food was still hot and crispy. Very generous with the sauces as well, you’ll never run out of sweet and sour lol. Will be returning :)
