Hibachi Sushi Buffet
Just came back from Chicago to Detroit on Sunday and stopped at this buffet. The food choice was very good for the price of $15. I have some pictures, not including ( sushi and hibachi) bonus. The chicken wings are moist and tender. Excellent! Nowadays, you can't eat crap at fast food for 15 bucks, plus 3 tip. Too many people complain about this place on other things. As long as the water is clean. Let me be, and I'll get my food, eat, and leave.
I believe the oldest Chinese buffet in Kalamazoo area. Originally called Stirmax. Even after the prime lunch hour, the food looked fresh and full.
Cravings Deli
The Black Forrest Cake is the best I've ever had. Very good Ramen, the summer rolls taste very fresh. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is very cute and welcoming. I love how it feels like I've gone on a quick getaway.
This latest visit was one of the many excellent visits. The food is always amazing and the service is great as well. The crews are always on point. This time we got Szechuan Beef Brisket Ramen with wide noodles and eggs, Spicy Miso Ramen with wide noodles, shrimp and bbq pork, and Crab Rangoon. The place is always packed, that means the food is delicious!! Hands down!! It's worth the drive one hour and few minutes from Holland πππ». One of our favourite places for ramen π«Άπ»ππ»
Los Amigos Portage
If you're longing for a favorite restaurant in southwest Detroit but can't wait to get there or won't be in town any time soon, this is a good substitute. Very fresh and flavorful salsa and chips are a great way to start your meal, possibly accompanied by an adult beverage. Happy hour is a generous four hour period every night, running until 8 pm. Taco Tuesday is hard to beat at $1.99 each for any variety. Excellent quality and dinner for two with drinks for under $30.
Table was somewhat dirty when we were seated. The music was skipping and distorted before finally fixing itself. The service was fast and waiter friendly. The food was okay. Kinda thrown together. But definitely edible. Cheese sauce was good.
