Friendly staff, clean, very fast service and delicious food. The chicken pad Thai is the best around, the sushi is also delicious. We get carry out or dine in multiple times a month, highly recommend.

Ordered from this restaurant on Saturday March 8, 2025. Started choking and upon examining the sushi roll. There was a huge piece of plastic in it. Guess, Unsettling and upsetting.

We went to order take out yesterday. I ordered sweet and sour chicken. Absolutely no veggies in the sweet and sour sauce. The pork fried rice had no pork, onions, and no veggies. It was just plain brown rice. The kind I could buy a 30lb bag of for $14. TOTAL RIP OFF. CHINESE food was all about veggies. Now it's just cheap crap....

I get sick every time I have eaten here (3 times). The food is not fresh and is not handled safely. If you order chicken it looks like reclaimed meat from someone elses plate.

The atmosphere is typical of a fast food restaurant that deals mostly in take out.. the service seemed to take a bit longer that it should.. we entered and the door chimed out presence.. nobody came to the counter to greet us.. we found a menu and chose what we wanted.. stood at the counter until noticed... gave our order and waited over a good 20 minutes (felt like an eternity in times of Chinese food quickness). I got the boneless ribs with beef fried rice and the chicken teriyaki. My wife got the lemon chicken with pork fried rice. We got fried wonton and pan fried dumplings as well. Not too excited about any of it... most thing I noticed is the dryness.. the ribs were dry... the chicken teriyaki was very dry and did not taste much like teriyaki...the beef fried rice was ok.. (only 3-4 small slivers of beef.. ) the fried wonton were very dry..(over fried in low temp oil IYKYK) my wife's lemon chicken was also dry (she did not feel the same).. the lemon sauce was remnant of the fleeting flavor of fruit stripe gum.. the pan fried dumplings were very good I must say... the dipping sauce was IMO a bit heavy with the rice wine vinegar.. but compliments the dumplings quite nicely... I plan on coming back to try the wonton soup and beef and broccoli.. all in all... not horrible... I feel it could be so much more.. /btw.. were were there for about an hour..and only one person came in and realized quickly that the were in the wrong place.. 😕

I have eating there for years. Family owned, friendly and consistenly good tasting food!

Hong Kong Express I really wanted his place to be good. I’ve lived in Saginaw for about 20 years of my life and we make some good Chinese food. I’ve had the best Chinese food. Bar none. Here we go. Another test. Can this place live up to the name? Let’s go. Small place. Express only. Few chairs. The woman at the front desk was very nice. Good service. Server with a smile. I ordered Pepper Steak and Szechuan chicken. The two basic dishes. Pepper steak tasted correct. Spot on. Szechuan was clearly off. Did not taste correct. The sauce was more like sweet and sour. Clearly the wrong sauce. I really had high hopes. Another disappointed. You might enjoy, but to me, I’m still looking for an authentic Chinese restaurant. Not here. I see a lot of customers. It’s sad they don’t know what good Chinese food is. Hit up “China 1” in hazel park, MI for excellent Real Chinese food. Also try "Dragon Palace" in Vassar, MI for great Real Chinese food. Enjoy. To each his own. Highly Recommended

This is my go-to place for Chinese. My usual order includes Chicken Egg Foo Young combo meal, Sweet & Sour Chicken (quart), and Vegetable Fried Rice (quart). I get 5-6 meals out of it - so it's a great value! Consistently great quality and service!

I don’t usually write reviews, but after a few visits, I had to say something. The food here is always great! The Almond Chicken is crispy, the Beef and Broccoli is tasty, and the Wonton Soup is super flavorful. The Egg Rolls are fresh and crunchy—just right. The service is fast and friendly, the portions are big, and the prices are cheap. Plus, it’s the only place around that has good Chinese food. If you’re in Hartland and craving some, this is the spot!

The food was ok .fair price Hit or miss on almond boneless chicken .it was overcooked today Fried Rice needs more seasoning But lomain was great ok Mostly takeout the cook was friendly Typical American Chinese food

I’ve had china taste a few times before because my roommate recommended it, and it is usually very good. He raves about the customer service, food, prices, etc., so we figured it would be a lovely idea to have takeout to treat us tonight. Ate my spicy shrimp with garlic sauce and it was fantastic! Got to the eggroll (my fave part of takeout) and there was, unfortunately, a long hair that cooked INTO the eggroll in the very last bite I took. I typically am able to not be too grossed out when there is a hair on top of any food I have. I’ll ignore it if the food is good enough. But there was a struggle for me in this instance because the hair was wrapped around everything INSIDE the egg roll, I could not let it go unnoticed. Please consider wearing hairnets/hats in the kitchen when preparing food.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND eating here. HORRIBLE customer service and undercooked food. I normally never ask for a refund but I did this time because it was that bad and we had paid over $10 for the food. I was fine with the bland fried rice, but the undercooked chicken was not acceptable. While I tried to politely explain the situation, the woman and her worker were insanely rude, looking at me like I was stupid, talking bad about us in their language, YANKED our food out of my hand, and said we couldn’t get a refund without our debit cards. (We paid with Apple Pay) we left with NO FOOD and NO money. She didn’t even bother to try to find a solution. I can’t believe how rude this place treated us over this it truly broke my heart to leave so unsatisfied. I know it’s only two people they lost as a customer and it might mean nothing to them, but I’m truly upset as I came in recommending the place to my sister and leaving unhappy. I no longer will be recommending this place. These pictures did not give it justice to show how slimey and raw they tasted and looked.
