New China Buffet
We celebrated a family birthday yesterday with 7 guests, which the staff handled excellently without prior notice on a Friday evening. The establishment was packed. We were treated with excellent service, and the food offerings were above and beyond our expectations. Patronize with confidence, as there are no better establishments locally. You I'll enjoy your dining experience.
5 stars! Amazing Chinese buffet! We drive 35 minutes to get here, happily because it is so delicious. Only $15 per person for dinner, which is great. (No soda). The staff were all very friendly, attentive, kind and professional. The staff that waited on us kept our table clean and waters filled. The staff filling food kept up with it, and the staff upon leaving made sure to tell us to get home safe. Overall, great staff. As far as the restaurant goes, it’s probably the cleanest buffet I have ever seen. No spilled food, no dirty floors or ceilings, tables were not worn down, everything felt clean and looked bright and inviting. And this was after 5pm on a weekend, too! During snow! The food: DELICIOUS! Everything was warm, clean, prepped appropriately. The food tasted amazing. The dumplings, all the types of chicken, noodles, rice, soup and desserts were amazing. The sugar donuts were so good and the ice cream is a great addition and it was cleaned and organized as well! Everything looked appetizing and fresh. We felt for the price, service, and cleanliness of the restaurant, it was more than worth the 30-ish minute drive. Can’t wait to return!!!
China 1
I like the food here, they are very friendly. Especially when family gatherings come here to order take away, they will considerately label the name of each meal.
I am so tired of asking for food because of certain medical conditions. Yet when i get the food home, they are wrong. I asked for no pepper, and they got hidden at the bottom. I was just asking for mixed vegetables with the meat and fried rice. The last time all I got was broccoli. No consistency. Or you do not understand what is asked. It's crazy because I looked at the food before I came home, and since they were hidden, I missed the peppers and could not eat the meal.
King Buffet
The lunch buffet is a good price. Might wanna catch them at the right time so the food hasn't sat for long. The staff is super nice. Visit steel rose forge for a Blacksmith class to burn the MSG off!!!!
This place has fallen off so bad, haven't had a good meal in the last 4 times I've tried. Chicken is always overcooked and this last time didn't relieve a specifically ordered sauce. I've eaten from this place for years and won't be coming back. Do better.
Wing Wah Express
I drive all the way from flint to pick up their food for my son. This is his favorite restaurant and without a doubt the best overall quality we can get. The portion sizes are great when compared to the price! The employees are always friendly, even on a busy Friday/Saturday night. The food is hot and always fresh. I highly recommend them and have been eating here since 1999!
I am disgusted. I started with the barbecue pork, it was salty and dry and I’m sure by the way that it tasted it is old. Definitely not what I am used to when it comes to BBQ pork from a Chinese restaurant. The second thing I tried was a crab rangoon and this is the only thing that I would ever purchase again from this restaurant. Then I tried the house special fried rice. I’m pretty sure the pork in this is the same barbecue pork that I didn’t like to begin with. I’m grossed out about these pieces of chicken skin masquerading as chicken. I was disgusted when I bit into it and discovered that it is actually the chicken skin (See photos). And next everyone’s favorite, eggrolls. Inside of the eggroll is grayish in color, not fresh veggies. As you can see in the pictures, they are so greasy I feel like they were just sat in a pan of grease under a hot lamp. I spent $30 even and could only stomach the 4 crab rangoon.
