Bk Sushi Thai Food
I had a take out order via door dash but called twice to make sure their were no mushrooms in my food and. Was told there wouldn’t be. There was indeed mushrooms in my food and if had eaten it I would’ve had to use my EpiPen. Lack of communication. Not understanding. Telling me to get a refund from door dash. Incompetent. Family owned business and have ordered from them many times but will no longer order from this establishment. Better off getting sushi and tai food on the surrounding areas. Good luck if you want your order to be screwed up. They put a 13 year old child in charge of taking orders….not professional.
it was my first time here at BK sushi getting a carry out and let me tell you their food is AMAZING!! food tasted very fresh and it was delicious! I live few min away but never got the chance to try them and I wish I tried them sooner! Amazing people and amazing food!
Soora Korean Restaurant
Amazing Korean food! The flavors are very authentic and the service is fantastic! I will definitely be back. Most menu items include spicy flavors and pork, but there are still other options if you don’t like spice or pork. Cannot stress enough how fantastic the service is!
Review of Soora Restaurant I decided to visit Soora Restaurant after hearing great things about it online. Since it’s known as a popular spot, I was excited to try it out. I went around 4 PM, and the restaurant was pretty quiet at that time. Parking was spacious, so finding a spot wasn’t an issue. First Impressions When I walked in, the restaurant had a very old-school feel to it. It wasn’t dirty, but it definitely looked a bit worn out. The tables, chairs, and even the carpet on the floor all felt dated. These days, there are so many modern and well-decorated restaurants that this place felt a bit plain in comparison. It didn’t give off a particularly cozy or stylish atmosphere, which was a little disappointing. The Food I ordered four dishes: Tangsu-yuk (Korean Sweet & Sour Pork) Gan-jjajang (Black Bean Noodles with Stir-Fried Sauce) Jjamppong (Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup) Yangnyeom Chicken (Korean-Style Sweet & Spicy Fried Chicken) Side Dishes (Banchan) Before the main dishes arrived, they served four types of side dishes, and I have to say—they were all delicious! They were so good that my expectations for the main meal went up even higher. Gan-jjajang (Black Bean Noodles) This dish had a rich, smoky flavor with a sauce made from onions, zucchini, and meat. The wok-fried aroma was strong, and it tasted amazing. After trying it, I immediately understood why so many people recommend it. Definitely one of the highlights of the meal! Jjamppong (Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup) The jjamppong also had a smoky flavor, but the broth itself was a bit bland. It wasn’t terrible, but it lacked depth. Adding extra salt wouldn’t have improved it, as it felt like the seasoning itself was just weak. Compared to the jjajangmyeon, this dish was underwhelming. Yangnyeom Chicken (Korean-Style Fried Chicken) The sauce was classic Korean-style—sweet, spicy, and flavorful. One thing to note is that they only serve drumsticks and wings. I personally didn’t mind, but my family was a bit disappointed that there weren’t other cuts of chicken. If you prefer a variety of chicken parts, keep that in mind. Tangsu-yuk (Korean Sweet & Sour Pork) - The Star of the Meal! The best dish of the entire meal was definitely the tangsu-yuk. If I ever come back, it would be for this dish alone! The pork was perfectly crispy, and there was no strange smell or greasiness from the meat. It was simply delicious. However, I did find the sauce to be a bit too thin and watery. I usually prefer a slightly thicker, stickier sauce, but after eating more, I got used to it. It was just a different style than I expected. Final Thoughts Overall, I enjoyed the food, and the staff was very friendly and kind. However, the restaurant’s atmosphere was lacking, and some of the dishes had minor flaws. The gan-jjajang was fantastic, and the tangsu-yuk was absolutely amazing—I would return just for that. The jjamppong, on the other hand, was disappointing, and while the yangnyeom chicken was good, the limited cuts of chicken might not be for everyone. Would I come back? Yes, but mainly for the tangsu-yuk! If you’re planning to visit, I definitely recommend trying it.
Bangkok Sala Cafe
My husband and I just finished eating our take-out and WOW! Thank you to everyone who is working on 12/27/24 at 6:30pm. We order from this place probably once a month and the food is consistently good, but tonight we think this is the best pad thai and drunken noodle we've ever had! 10/10, 5 stars, will purchase again and again forever trying to eat this meal.
Don't Bother going if it is anywhere near 8pm. Their door hours say open til 8:30pm, however, I've stopped twice on my way home from work, and they have refused both to seat me, or to get a take out. Has turned me off completely, lost my business. The least they can do is post their true hours, maybe it's 7pm for true close?? When I dined in a couple times, the food was very good, and it's a cute atmosphere. I've just never seen so many restaurants closing at very early times in the evening, and they don't even care if they miss out sales. (The other goofy thing is restaurants charging the 3-4% fee to use the cc; why would customers be paying for the restaurant's cost of doing business? And why are we seeing recommendations for 23%, 25% tips when often plates not cleared, we pack our own food, and cash ourselves out?)
Phở Vinh
We did take out, no wait, and very traditional and delicious food! Service was great and the lady was very sweet who helped us. Would go back again for the pho and bahn mi
The food was great! The strawberry and mango boba drinks were good as well as the coffee. It was well worth the price.
Kabuki Japanese & Korean Restaurant
One of my favorite places to get sushi. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and very kind staff. To this day, every food item I've ordered here has been the highest quality I've eaten anywhere. As someone who eats a lot of sushi, this is the highest praise I can give.
We usually dine in but decided on carry out after an appointment in the area and as always Kabuki did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the service was quick.
Zayeqa
This restaurant is a literal mom and pop hole-in-the-wall authentic Pakistani restaurant and it’s amazing! We’ve come here several times and usually it’s when our family is visiting from out of state. Every time without fail, our guests love the food from here. Our go to’s: Aloo Samosas Chicken 65 Chicken Biryani Beef Nihari Zayeqa BBQ platter Halwa Puri platter The food is amazing here and full of flavor. Everything tastes fresh, the naan is great. It’s not overly spicy like some places that just kill a dish by making it intolerably spicy. You can’t expect much from service since it’s a self-service restaurant, however, if you ask the owner for anything, he’s always helpful. It’s very obvious that this restaurant focuses solely on perfecting their food with their disposable to go boxes that they serve the food in. I personally don’t care about a restaurants ambience if the food is that good. I did notice in all the times we’ve dined in, a lot of people come in for take out orders. If you love authentic Pakistani food and don’t care about service or ambience, definitely give this place a try.
The food is really really good! The beef bihari kabab is top notch, so as the chicken bihari kabab. We ordered one beef bihari kabab, one kabab platter, and vegetable samosas. They have complementary naans with the dishes. If your are from Bangladesh and familiar with shik kabab, the beef bihari kabab is close in taste with that (though bihari kabab is a smashed version of the Bangladeshi shik kabab). Also the other kababs were really flavorful. Samosa and tandoori chicken was okay, but rest items were very tasty. I recommend this place to every kabab lover. The owners were also really nice!
Órale
BEST FOOD EVER. INCREDIBLE. Best quality Mexican Cuisine I have ever had. Just moved to the area and this will be our new go to. The atmosphere is super intimate on the inside too.
Super fresh mexican food! Food is great and so is the service. Would 100% recommend the quesobarria tacos and the steak tostados.
Jiang Nan Noodle House
The pulled noodles were fresh and had a great texture. I ordered the Xiao Long Bao, but unfortunately, the soup was missing due to overcooking. I also tried the C12, but the soup was too salty, making it difficult to finish. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and welcoming. I’m considering coming back to try other flavors and see if they’re better balanced.
Holy cow. I have had so much ramen all around the world - you will cry if you knew how much. I know my noodles and broth. I ordered the Beef Brisket with broth and noodles and it was fire! The broth was so clean tasting with only a mild amount of it being oily. The flavor was so rich and packed. I feel so clean after eating that bowl. The noodles here are absolutely ridiculous. So flavorful and stretchy and delicious. I will definitely be back here and am so happy I found this place. The price point and portions are extremely fair for the quality. It’s inexpensive. Kudos to the chefs!
Apple Grill
Quality of meat very good. Chicken wonton soup and egg rolls fantastic. Flavor and spice level of entrees is very low. And many of the sauces Taste very similar. Dishes that are suppose to have spice, have none at all.
Ordered take out twice, orange chicken and general tsao. Amazing both times. Really awesome crunchy chicken and sauce is really good too. Orange chicken especially was 10/10, large serving sizes as well. Yum! Can’t wait to come back here again.
Shangri-La
Excellent Chinese restaurant. We came for Din Sum which if you've never tried, please do! When I lived in Asia I loved going out for it. Don't worry about what to order, the menu on the table has pictures which help you know.
I truly want to like this place but I don’t know I would go back. I was super excited to go because it has been a long time since I’ve gotten to dim sum. As someone who grew up with authentic Asian food, I was quite disappointed with the food. There’s so many restaurants with better food nearby. The food was very greasy, textures were a bit off. The best dish we had was spinach with garlic but it was over $14 for the dish and something we could cook at home with vegetables from 168 Market. The decorations especially the room with dragons on the ceiling was super cool. But that was it. Overall, I would not recommend.
China Town (halal meat)
I ordered from this restaurant and the young lady at the cash register put in an amount and swiped my card. My meal was $12.58. She handed me a receipt and the charge was $120.58. She wasn’t apologetic at all and almost acted as if she was annoyed by my questions about MY money. She really had a “ oh well” attitude letting me know she voided the transaction. Very very rude……. They could NEVER get my business again!
Always predictably consistent and excellent. Always my go-to for Chinese food. Serving sizes are great, I always get more than 3 meals from original and leftovers which are always good also! I haven't tried everything but I would guess that everything is very good. I like their eggrolls, fried rice, chicken and or shrimp with vegetables, soup, lettuce wraps. I just tried steamed dumplings for the first time and they were great too! You can customize any dish and they'll accommodate your request (price will change accordingly but I've found that any upcharge is extremely fair. I gave 5 for atmosphere though I never eat in, always take out for me and I imagine for most people the same. It's very basic not a fancy place but very clean. And if you wanted to eat in you could and wouldn't be disappointed or turned off in the least. Bathroom has always been immaculate any time I've used it...and i think I've used it each time I've been there. Very clean. Food is exceptional for price, huge portions, consistent. I highly recommend China Town.
Hong Hua Fine Chinese Dining
Elevated Chinese cusine, with fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. A very elaborate menu, and a little higher on the price side, but then again, you are paying for the whole experience here, and it will be amazing. The food was exquisite, not extremely authentic, but for the location, it was excellent, as Farmington Hills is not so populated with Chinese folk, and I did see many patrons, so it said a lot just walking into the dining room. We had a large party, and it took a while for us to get our drinks, our soup was already at the table, and no drinks served yet. Love the ambiance here, glamorous and refined.
Very impressive authentic Chinese food in greater Detroit area. I was truly impressed by their flavor profile, matches some of the good restaurants I have visited in San Francisco Bay Area (my high bar for good Chinese food in the US). Their spicy eggplant and fish soup was really good. Their honey walnut shrimps were decent.
