New China Buffet
I used to love it here. Our family has ordered take out many times. Either they have a new supplier, or something has changed. The past few times my food had been full of vinegar. That's all I could taste from my General Tsos last night. I love the atmosphere, and the people who work there are very friendly. I miss the way their food used to be.
This restaurant has been a weekly visit for over a year now due to its delicious, consistent food. The dishes come out hot and timely. The staff is friendly, courteous and attentive, and work very hard. The prices for adults are also the best I’ve seen at any buffet and very generous, including the weekends.
Chee Peng Chinese Restaurant
Chee Peng is a quality small town restaurant, the staff is well mannered and friendly. Food here has always been of good quality. the dinner itself is dated and ready for a revamp imo. The bathroom need to most attention for remodeling. The crab lagoons are the best I've ever had. Bring yourself or your family.
The Inside of this place is disgusting. Water damage to ceiling and mold growing. Table was covered with cheap vinyl and underneath was filthy (see attached pics). It makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like. Service: Our waitress was friendly, however somewhat inattentive. My daughter and I were the only patrons in the restaurant and she spilled some water, it was almost 15 minutes before the waitress came back so I could ask for napkins. Food: egg drop soup was over salted and had almost no veggies in it, but tasted okay. The "general chicken" was overly sweet and had very little heat. The chicken was mushy and underdone. I have had general chicken many many times in my life, and I LOVE it, This was the worst I've ever had. I had to smother it in sweet and sour sauce to eat it. I traveled almost 30 miles to try this place because of the great reviews. I was severely disappointed - please read these reviews with a grain of salt. I was hoping to find a diamond in the rough but this place is not worth your time. You will get better Chinese food from a mall food court or an airport :(
Chee Peng
Great Customer Service…Paul and his wife are super nice …So are the cashiers ….They also make some of the best chinese food around this area…They’ll even help carry your food to the car or just bring it out so you’re not waiting w/kids inside the restaurant ….So Nice!!!!🙂
Our food was hot and fresh most definitely done in a timely manner, the cashier was very friendly and answered all my questions. Most recommended Chinese restaurant
Oriental Star
I ordered orange chicken, pork fried rice and fried wontons for take out. I meant fried dumplings! Ugh! (I was absolutely exhausted and jet-lagged.) But the lady was super sweet about it and said since I was still there she could change it for me. I really appreciated that, but then she let me keep the wontons, too! That was good because I don't think I've ever had them. That gave me a chance to try them (I'm not a fan. They were super greasy and not much meat.) The orange chicken was delicious! It was hot, tender, flavorful and plentiful! The pork fried rice ended a months-long craving. It was so good! The dumplings were good but I didn't love the sauce. I feel like it's different when you dine in. I'm not sure. Either way, I still ate them. The value is also amazing! All of that food was only about $21 and I had several meals from it.
Food was very good and the staff was friendly and helpful. I tried a little bit of everything at the buffet and was not disappointed. The salmon tasted fresh and not overly fishy, the shrimp was good as well. Loved the hot and sour soup. Sweet and sour chicken was crispy but not dried out. The chili crunch/oil is very spicy!! 🥵🔥 Great for clearing out your sinuses tho!! 😅 Lots of desserts to choose from but the bananas in the sauce and the crispy sugar dumpling things are my favorite! Definitely would recommend!
