Three Happiness Restaurant
Was there for the first time today and I ordered sesame chicken and I'm glad it had extra sauce for my rice and the egg role was huge and very good..coke products only. I'm glad my daughter recommended it ....today on 7/17/24 we stopped in again after dentist appointment. I ordered three happiness lo mein and she ordered orange chicken. Both very delish love eating here. Austin was a fantastic waiter..
So I spent over $80 for my order ordering enough food for my family and out of my 14 years coming here, the manager himself gets my order wrong and puts 1 packet of soy sauce, no hot mustard in the take out bag. We live 40 mins away and never minded the drive until we get home to call him to say for the first time ever we not satisfied that the order was short and no condiments. The owner himself brushed it off like oh well sorry to not satisfy you and he escalated the conversation to not care that he had not satisfied a repeat customer that came there for years until now. I grew up working in restaurants and I would never treat a customer like they didn’t mean anything and hang up on them. Crazy part is I never sworn, and even called him sir and he said he is fine losing a customer. That’s pathetic and I pray no one else has this type of experience when trying to have a nice night of take out. Never will return since he wants to hang up on a customer that was not thing but polite.
First Wok Chinese Restaurant
Update - we came back and it was just as good as the first time. Worth a visit if you like Chinese food. This was my first time at this restaurant. I thoroughly enjoyed the Mongolian beef which I ordered and my wife loved her sweet and sour chicken. We went on a Sunday evening which came with complimentary egg rolls and soup, which was a nice plus. We definitely will be back.
My experience was very nice. If you are low on money, this is the place to go for a great meal. Although for me they didn't have the greatest of choices that I wanted, it's still a pretty good dinner if you want something cheap, 40$ for 2, that's also Chinese. The atmosphere was a little bland. There was no music, and I felt a little out like everyone could hear. The service was incredible. They checked and made sure that everything was okay quite often, and when we weren't ready to order They were perfectly fine with it and didn't try to rush us. The food was amazing when we found what we wanted. It was very nice and tasted fesh and well cooked. Overall, I really enjoy our meal.
Panda Express
The girl at the drive though window in Grand Rapids, Michigan was so sweet!! She asked if we wanted to donate to the children's hospital and when I told her we were going there tomorrow she gave my son a panda stuffed animal in a Chinese box and said God Bless you, I hope it goes well. I almost cried she was so genuine and kind!! The food is always good so this was just a huge bonus at a hard time!! The walnut shrimp and sesame chicken were yummy too!!
Food and Service was good, however, when ordering, there was only a scoop left of what I wanted and instead of telling whomever to get more, & fill the pan, the server was going to give me what was left and said you can have another scoop of something else. I told her NO, just give me the honey chicken. The eating area could have been cleaner as there was food on the tables and floor. And that is unexceptable, especially in the food business.
Empire Buffet II
Food was cold. Service was horrible. Two people working. Both on the phone the entire time...even the waitress. She didn't bring my husband his tea. She asked me if I wanted water. She then filled only my husband's glass. Food was bland.
It was ok. The selection wasn't too bad, but it didn't taste quite as good as our favorite Chinese Buffet. I order from here frequently and the food I order is always good. They didn't have the foods I normally order out in the buffet, so perhaps that's why I didn't like it as much? Not bad for the cost though.
