Chopsticks Oriental Restaurant
Rarely do I have any issues here!!!!! Food is always wonderful and the ladies at the front always make my day. One of the best places to eat in Bay County.
Disgusting food! Springs rolls dripping grease. Crab Rangoon was dry, burnt, and tasted like days old. Pad Thai Chicken had shrimp in it, and no peanut flavor at all. Sesame chicken was soggy and the rice is literally steamed rice with soy poured over it. $ 60 for 4 people. It's ridiculous! Save your money and go somewhere else.
King House
The sesame seed chicken I ordered was under cooked. Contacted the restaurant and was told that the sesame seed chicken was a chicken thigh and that it looks dark… Sesame seed chicken is a white meat chicken! I will NEVER eat from this place again
I’ve been coming to this restaurant for yearsss but fell back after the last owners sold me food that smelled like ammonia. When I brought it to their attention, he broke it apart and told me it wasn’t bad (never mind the smell). I was beyond hurt because I spent hundreds (no exaggeration) and they couldn’t refund my money or offer to replace my order, AT THE LEAST??? I couldn’t believe it because they were always nice and friendly. Now, I’ve been noticing that the new owners don’t give as much food, the customer service could be better and they don’t give you any utensils as a courtesy. It’s not like it’s a mistake because it happened before. We shouldn’t have to ask for it! They did ask if I needed soy, duck sauce, etc. The general tsos is filled with filler and God only knows what else. Don’t be fooled by the taste, inspect your food and take care of your body because it is your temple!!
Red Star Chinese
General Tso's Chicken was very good, as we're the fried rice and egg roll. The broccoli on the plate was cold because it wasn't cooked, but maybe it was just supposed to be a garnish and not part of the "meal"...? The employees were nice, but just not very attentive. We were the only ones in the dining room. They seated us, but we had to go to the counter to ask someone to take our order. Then they delivered the food and never came back. Had to go to the counter to ask for to-go boxes and the bill. Good food though!
**Red Star Chinese Food: A Taste of Classic American Chinese in Lynn Haven** Red Star Chinese Food offers a delightful throwback to the classic American Chinese cuisine many of us grew up with. In a world where Chinese food has often shifted towards a faster, more generic palate over the past few decades, Red Star stands out. Their dishes evoke the comforting, familiar flavors that are simply delicious. The staff are consistently friendly and efficient, ensuring orders are ready promptly. While I can only speak to the carry-out experience, it's always been positive. One of the most convenient aspects is their website ordering system. It's incredibly user-friendly, allowing you to easily browse the menu and place your order. While online payment isn't an option, the ability to order ahead and pay in person is a definite plus. It streamlines the process and saves time. And speaking of the food, the "Ciao My Fun" recipe is a personal favorite – delicious and satisfying. Red Star consistently delivers on flavor and quality, bringing back those cherished childhood food memories. For a fast, friendly, and convenient Chinese carry-out option in Lynn Haven, that tastes like the classic American Chinese we all remember, Red Star is a solid choice.
Zollo's Pizza
The pizza quality is what you might find at an arcade or a roller rink, but much pricier. I arrived to pick up our order before it was even ready and it turned out to be cold, dry, and crunchy, like it was someone’s sloppy seconds. Very thin crust (we ordered hand tossed) and the cheese was the translucent plastic-y kind, so not real mozzarella at all. And the Caesar salad was a complete joke. Just a box full of spring mix with a tiny sprinkle of bagged Parmesan in one corner, and nothing else. Their website touts these obnoxious and long-winded descriptions of how succulent and tantalizing their menu items are, with absolutely no delivery on these claims at all. Such a bummer that food in touristy areas just plain sucks. Also, the girl at the register hates her life and moves like a snail. No eye contact, no interaction, just staring at the ground and dragging herself across the floor to hand me my order. Next time I’m in town I’ll get frozen pizza from Walmart.
Good pizza. Just had cheese and sauce, thin crust. The sauce was not spread evenly which affected the flavor greatly. I also took issue with the way it was cut. I like the traditional pie cut into triangles. This was cut into diamonds. Great for little kids but I would have liked to know that it wasn't a traditional cut. Not a deal breaker though. The garlic knots were soft and hot but I could barely find a dusting of garlic powder on top and the sauce it came with was a prepackaged sauce cup that personally lacked a robust flavor. The service was great. Friendly and helpful. Only seating outside. I'll get pizza here again but I'll leave off the garlic know next time. Prices were reasonable for the area.
Shrimp Basket
If you are looking for a GREAT example of fried shrimp, this is the place! (Quick tip - When visiting "Shrimp Basket," definitely order the shrimp basket. It offers a generous portion, fantastic taste, and a reasonable price. Those at our table who chose the whitefish basket were less satisfied—perhaps they should have tried a place called "Whitefish Basket”) Service was friendly and efficient but they are understaffed and you will have a wait between visits from staff. The drinks were good, but a little light on the booze. Not criminally light but a little more zing would have been nice. Clean-ish bathrooms...Not spotless but far from gross. They look like they stay on top of keeping them as clean as you can with strangers using the facilities. :) Even mix of families with kids, couples and groups eating when we were there. Very family friendly. Not a romantic setting by any interpretation of the word, but a good date for couples who want a good meal and an upbeat atmosphere. Again, if you are looking for a really great example of fried shrimp, this is the place.
Great server and staff, all very friendly and attentive! The food was delicious and the amount served was very fair for the price! The shrimp was battered and fried perfectly, cocktail sauce and coleslaw tasted very fresh.
Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe - Panama City Beach
We stayed seven days and we ordered takeout four times!! I highly recommend getting the family feast. So, you can have leftovers for later. My choice was the Mediterranean salad, because it has all the good toppings, but, with the Caesar dressing. So yummy The falafel was small, but, very flavorful and slightly spicy . I do recommend checking everything before you leave. One time the pizza was forgotten. The next time the dressing was wrong. Everyone was so nice. They are very accommodating for request like extra feta on the salad.
had a wonderful evening at taziki's, loved that we could bring our two little for a babies with us! The food was wonderful, had the lamb and salad and rice and my husband had the salmon, salad and roasted potatoes. also had the lemon chicken soup which was delicious! Mel, Izzy and the manager were wonderful! You must go wonderful atmosphere great food and the staff is incredible! Thank you, Christine & Tom and fur babies Boston and Daisy!
Jade Garden
Very nice lady said MERRY CHRISTMAS! Good fresh food. Would give 5 stars but the tables already had chairs up over an hour before closing.
We ordered a family pack that came with chicken and broccoli. The chicken did not look or taste chicken. The other food was good.
Jin Jin 88
The food is super great and our waitress was Amazing! Her name is Bo and she is friendly and very personable. Not only did she serve our food but came by to chit chat about spicy seasoning with my husband. The rest of the staff was very nice and it was an exceptional dinner for sure. We will be back.
My family & I have been coming to Jin Jin 88 here on 23rd Street since the spring of 2013. It's a small family-owned/operated 'Mom & Pop' Chinese restaurant with AMAZING food cooked to order promptly, hot, & fresh. They just re-opened this week after a five-month closure due to a forced relocation of multiple long-time tenants out of the 23rd Street Walmart Shopping Center to make room for a new 'Big Box' store. My family missed Jin Jin's cooking SOOO much! It was so awesome to have them back up & running now across the street in the 23rd Street Publix Shopping Center next to Papa John's. The food is just as tasty now as it was before & if you give this place a try, fair warning: you will be hooked! ;)
China 1
What a gross place. Paid $3.75 for egg roll just look at the size. Rude and we will never go back. Stay away
Reasonable prices and good taste. Tried shrimp and broccoli with shrimp egg roll.
Salty Sue's Restaurant
We had a great time and meal at Salty Sue's. Our waitress was so kind, and we were able to bring our dog. They even had a chicken and rice meal for dogs!! We all loved our food and drinks as the portions were generous and taste was delicious Definitely visit here. 10/10, will come here again!!
1-2-25 party of 7 lunch. First off, we were seated immediately by friendly staff. Apps came out quickly and our main corse was on the table within 30 min. I had the Thursday special of fish and chips. Amazing! Daughter got the Ahi tuna and it was amazing. Our waitress was nice and knowledgeable. We come to Panama City to visit family and S.S. Is quickly becoming our favorite spot.
Squidly's Seafood
We visited Squidly’s while on Spring Break and it was amazing! I had the crawfish special that included crawfish, corn, potatoes and sausage. The fresh bread/knots that’s included is INSANELY good! OMG! So chewy and moist. Great for dipping!!!
Food was amazing . The crawfish were spicy and flavorful, the muscles were good as well. The bread you get on the side was 10/10. Really nice people and great atmosphere
Pho Express Noodles & Bar
We have been wanting to try this type of cuisine for quite some time but had no options close to our home. We found Pho Express Noodles & Bar. We had a variety of dishes including spring rolls, beef, pork and beef noodle soup. Everything was fresh tasting and met our expectations. The young woman who served us was the only one working but was handling several other tables accurately and quickly. She was pleasant and answered all of our questions. There was plenty of parking. Restaurant and restroom was clean.
I spontaneously chose to dine at Pho Express, and I am glad I ate here. The flavor in the Vietnamese Beef Stew was perfect (I had a spice level of 2) and the addition of lime, bean sprouts, jalapeños, and cilantro complemented the soup. I had the Pho noodles. My boyfriend ordered the Spicy Lemongrass Beef Pork Noodle Soup. That had a lot of la or to it as well. For drinks, I ordered the Thai Tea. I will say the sweetness was strong. The next time, I will probably order a level 0-1 for sweetness. The atmosphere was cozy and cute. The bar setting looked well equipped. The staff was friendly and helpful.
