SALOON 139
Went with my friends last night. The food was extremely tasty and flavorful. The manager and staff were very polite and friendly. Will definitely recommend this place!
Ordered from here on grand opening. The food is delicious and staff was super friendly. So good to have good sushi near home!
Boulevard Diner
Atmosphere: 5 Stars! I know, yes I know--the Boulevard's atmosphere may be a debatable topic. My kind of place: no frills, just good ole fashion "Diner Experience." No debate in regards to the delicious zitti, meatballs, chicken soup and of course the accompanying fresh Italian bread. After about 10 years, I decided to visit one of my "go to" haunts--- the famous Boulevard Diner-- a Landmark Diner since 1936. The genuine arrowheads that I observed on the shelf were a clue --- this diner is historic. Frankly, I was extremely impressed with my return to the Boulevard Diner; it seemed like I was traveling back on a time machine, a time when "hot ticket" Ronnie was behind the counter. Tonight, I am bestowing praise on my multitasking server extraordinaire: Erica George. Besides the outstanding food, reasonable prices and large portions---I truly enjoyed the conversation; thanks, life changing spiritual stories fed my soul.
Stopped in VERY early this morning, (23 Nov 24) and was treated to a wicked yummy Bully Bowl, skillfully prepared by a very tired yet full of energy Kim L! Can't thank her and her team enough for starting my day out right, the endless cup of hot coffee helped too! I highly recommend 100% if you're in the need of a delicious homemade breakfast!
Min's Wok
Good food I like the general tso chicken, and dumplings. The lunch specials are a great portion for the price lots of food. They are very quick. Door is super heavy and not a lot of room in the building mostly just an order counter and a few tables but all and all good
This rating must be inflated somehow. We chose to go here based on the rating being higher than places near it, but boy did we regret it. The spare ribs were passable, so I thought nothing of it while making my plate when my friend stated something was "off" about his food. Little did I know what an understatement that was... The "chicken" in the Chicken with Cashew Nuts was flavorless and definitely not anything even resembling chicken. The "shrimp" in the Shrimp fried rice had me literally spitting it out after biting into it due to another not-even-close texture experience, nevermind the lack of flavor. And after that extremely unpleasant and off-putting experience, I couldn't get to the rest, but my friend had the other items and immediately became worried that he may end up sick from eating it. Never again. And no way that rating is accurate and not boosted in some way. Stay safe, review readers!
Rice Violet
This was our second time eating Rice Violet this week. We did pickup on Monday, and it was soooooo good but I didn't take any photographs. On Thursday, the restaurant we had planned to go to was closed, so we decided to dine in at Rice Violet. This was our first time going in person and it will not be the last. We have ordered delivery many times, and they have always knocked it out of the park. Our dine in experience did not disappoint. We had great service and great food. Items in the photographs include Thai Iced Tea, Summer Roll, Shrimp Tempura, Crazy Noodles with Shrimp, and the Seafood Curry. Based on this experience and all of our past orders, I highly recommend this restaurant. We loved everything about both Monday's and Friday's meals.
We were Thai and looked for Thai restaurant. I found Rice violet that has authentic Thai foods. We ordered spicy salmon and Three flavored fish which were so good .we couldn’t decide the appetizer coz it had many dishes that look delicious. So, we decided to order violet sampler that combines various of Chicken satay, roll, coconut shrimp , etc.We had a good time here. The service is very good . The servers gave a good take care of us . Definitely, we will come back again!!!
Mint Kitchen & Bar
Great and authentic Vietnamese food you won’t get elsewhere (except for maybe New York). The service is so friendly and makes you feel like home. See pictures!
Mint had a wonderful brunch, different than most bunches around, and we enjoyed every bite. Next Sunday is the last weekend to enjoy this deliciousness. Pictured is Vietnamese Coffee, Mimosa, Spicy Homefries, and a Bò Né with Baguette added Chinese Sausage.
Anh Thu II
The ubiquitous presence of pho restaurants in Connecticut is definitely a must-try in this cold weather. However, I found Anh Thu this side of Massachusetts and can beat any pho restaurants that I’ve been to. Wow! The broth was aromatic, complex, and deeply flavorful. Generous portion for the combination pho and worth every penny. We also shared an order of beef teriyaki, and it was just a tad salty, but the cha gio eggrolls hit the spot! We also tried the seafood stir-fry with flat noodles, and that was full of flavor. Food came out quite fast, and the service was friendly. I can’t wait to go back!
Food: I like thier banh mi alit, lots of flavor in the meats and have various toppings. The rice plate is also another good dish to have with a load of portions. I enjoy thier pho but sometimes the broth tends to be on the sweeter side. Service: Family own business so it's relatively easy going since everyone is familar of the owner and family. Ambiance: They just recently updated the furniture so it looks much more cleaner and spacious. Others: Have a parking lot towards the left side of the plaza and also have some side parking on stafford st.
SAIGON RESTAURANT
The chicken pho phenomenon! So delicious. Love the Christmas music, so festive and great. We ate that up it was so good great portions for the price. We are repeat customers so let me also tell you about the Bahn Mi. So bomb def get it. And the Thai iced tea.
We have been coming to Saigon since Clark University days 12 years ago. The food and service has always been excellent. One of our favorite places in Worcester!
Pho Sure
Very extensive menu. Went here for lunch with a group of 12 which the restaurant was able to accommodate. Waitstaff was able to keep up with a full dining room. We had the udon noodle soup which was flavorful. Also had the udon seafood stir fry where the sauce was good. For apps had the spring roll with peanut sauce. Lots of gluten free options. Will be back to try other items on the menu.
I loved the last place, their new site has a lot more seating … the parking lot is a little to navigate. This place is a favorite of ours. Wonderful food, large dishes - it’s soup … all kinds - they do have some dry options. The staff is always kind and helpful. Strongly recommend!
Oishi Japanese Restaurant
Food: I got the seaweed salad, Gyoza, Fuji Mountain and Worcester Maki roll. honestly, I’m quite disappointed by the overall quality as everything was just rather soggy. For eight dollars of seaweed salad the portion is screaming. The Gyoza’s would have been decent if they were crispy fried. Both the sushi rolls tasted like they’ve been sitting for a little too long and the wraps were soggy. Overall, it just wasn’t fresh. Service: I ordered takeout, which was fine when I scheduled to pick up at eight. It was already ready a little earlier. Ambiance: it’s rather quiet but spacious. They recently renovated the place so it’s rather nice inside. Location accommodation: there’s parking on the side towards the right side of the restaurant.
I was at Oishi yesterday and ordered crab rangoons, pork bao buns and ramen bowls but did not seem to be like I expected them at all. Crab rangoons were really good. The buns for the bao buns were soggy, don’t even get me started on the ramen bowls. There was absolutely no flavors to the broth of the bowls. The menu says it’s spicy but it literally had no flavor. I wouldn’t go back.
Momo Palace
Simply amazing dumplings! We got the veggie dumplings - tried the fried and steamed ones. They came with three sauces - soy, hot sauce, and a sweet chutney. This restaurant is located in a large space with several other eateries. Seems fairly new and there was plenty of seating. Public restrooms are here as well.
**MoMo Palace in the Worcester Market** My wife and I had an amazing meal at MoMo Palace! We ordered the chicken thukpa and the tornado fries, and I absolutely fell in love with the food. It was bursting with flavors—savory, sweet, and spicy. The chicken thukpa was absolutely outstanding, and the tornado fries offered an interesting spin on traditional fries. This place is a must-visit!
Thai Time
I recently got takeout and was blown away. The pineapple fried rice with shrimp and chicken was fantastic, blending sweet and savory perfectly. The spring rolls were super crispy and came with a tangy sauce that was just right. We also got peanut sauce to pair which was amazing. The beef pad Thai? Absolutely delicious, with tender beef and perfectly cooked noodles in a rich, flavorful sauce. The portion sizes were more than generous, giving great value for the money. I also ordered a Thai iced tea, and to my surprise, the friendly staff member threw in an extra one for free! The customer service was top-notch. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. If you’re looking for delicious, affordable Thai food with a welcoming atmosphere, Thai Time is the place to go. It is truly one of Worcester’s hidden gems!! 10/10.
Good Thai place, probably the best in Worcester. Specially the fried rice!
Baba Sushi
Excellent service from our waiter Johnson! He made the night extra pleasant becoz of his friendliness, attentiveness and hospitality. The specialty menu: Seared/ torched scallops with special sauce!!! The order came with four decent sized scallops! The texture and freshness of them blew me away!!! Would just come back for this!!! Must get if you see them on the menu!! Beef tataki- they were a bit too thin sliced to my liking. Wasabi mustard ish sauce was ok. I would prefer beef tataki to be served more like a refreshing ponzu soy based kind of dipping! This appetizer was just a B. Though the beef was nicely done medium rare!!! Sushi for two was plentiful! Love the albacore, salmon and dragon rolls with shrimp temp stood out the most. Everything was fresh and sweet! Delicious meal! Rice was done almost perfectly... could have been more balanced with a bit more sushi rice vinegar though! The only complaint was the Ikura! They didn't marinate them with soy and sake! The roes were a bit too fishy for my preference. Overall, the service was outstanding! The cozy vibe in that extra back room was nice! Heating from the ceilings made the room super warm! Would definitely come back for more sushi! Early dining definitely would be better since they have tons of take out orders.
Used to be the cool place back in the day. Hole in the wall spot, now they are very very average. Also walked in once open bar not that busy they were like no we only take reservations. Stuck up. There are plenty of better spots in Worcester. They should keep that location in sturbridge since people out there need something but other than that charity operation give it up leave. Bye bye 👋
