This place has the best food, hands down! This isn't your normal cheap asian food buffet either. I loved the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and informative. I will definitely be coming back 😃.
Excellent service! The food was good . The seafood I wish was cooked a little longer till white inside. The vegetableswere fresh. All in all I would recommendthis establishment. See you there!
Kai Sushi Bar & Grill
📍 Location & Atmosphere Kai Sushi in Worcester offers an intimate and cozy dining experience. The current location is quite small, with an 11-seat bar and around eight tables max, creating a casual and close-knit vibe. However, with their upcoming relocation, it’ll be exciting to see how they expand, especially with the introduction of their Omakase menu, which I’m eager to try. 🍽️ Food & Drinks We started with the miso soup, which had a familiar taste but leaned slightly on the salty side. It was a decent start, though nothing particularly standout. We then moved on to sushi and sashimi, which were fresh but noticeably thinner than expected. The Fire Roll and Love Roll were both delicious, though the flavors in the Fire Roll felt a bit homogeneous—everything blended together, making it harder to distinguish individual ingredients. The Love Roll, on the other hand, had more distinct flavor layers, making it more enjoyable. Despite not being a huge fan of mango in sushi, I found the fruity touch refreshing and well-balanced. The standout was the Spicy Scallop Roll, which was top-notch. It’s probably my favorite basic roll to order—the added crunch and bold flavor gave it a unique edge over similar rolls I’ve had elsewhere. 👨🍳 Service & Hospitality The service was fine—our server made sure we had everything we needed. It was efficient and polite, which suited the relaxed atmosphere. 💡 Unique Selling Point Kai Sushi stands out for its creative rolls and the promise of an expanded Omakase menu at their new location. The Spicy Scallop Roll was the highlight, offering a perfect balance of texture and flavor that sets it apart from the rest. I’m looking forward to seeing how the new space and menu elevate the dining experience.
Living near Boston for so many years, we almost gave up trying to find a comparable Japanese restaurant, especially one that offered omakase. Finally we found one. A hidden gem to say the least! We reserved a table a few weeks in advance since their omakase menu is not a nightly/dail special. We had a 14 course meal and were completely satisfied by the end. I tried the sake flight which was great. Chef Timmy personally explained each course and we ended the meal with a sake shot with him. Each course had the freshest seafood with unique combinations. Every piece melted in our mouths with the right amount of flavor with each bite! Worth every penny! We will definitely come back for more. Thank you for a wonderful experience as we celebrated our anniversary!
Loving Hut
This place smacks! I came here on a drizzly cold Saturday afternoon. Parking was on the main street. I was greeted by friendly staff and soothing harp music. 💃I was seated immediately. I was told they just renovated the interior. The interior was interioring!💐 I ordered a warm bowl of curry laksa soup with a lil spice added. 🥢It's exactly what I needed on this cold day. Slurp slurp. I couldn't resist and ordered fried icecream baby! 🍨It was so naughty.🐍 I'm going to get it again in the future. I'll be back!
So many delicious sounding choices on the menu that were all vegan it was almost overwhelming! The Go Green fried rice was delicious. Good flavor, light/non-greasy. Good quantity and variety of veggies. The carrot cake was pretty good. But what really impressed us was the mozzarella sticks! They were so delicious with great texture and batter. They were honestly better than any "real" (dairy based) mozzarella sticks I ever had prior to being vegan. The restaurant was quiet on a Tuesday night and very pleasant. We sat by the window enjoying the many potted plants. Our server was very attentive and polite.
King Chef
Great service, food is consistent and for a good price. I usually get the lunch special which is sub $10.
Decent place, good food! Sometimes it takes a while for the food to be ready because of peak times, or under-staffing, but I LOVE the fact that they have VEGAN options. Their vegan "chicken" (Seitan) is an excellent texture and consistency. I like the variety of dishes they can make with their seitan and all the veggie combos/sauces. I ordered from them on DoorDash, but it's cheaper to go in and eat in-person. DoorDash raises the prices, obviously.
Ming House
Its ok. Its your typical generic chinese food with the yellow rice, golden fried chicken wings (with no flavor), the boneless ribs w the typical chinese style bbq glaze were ok, the egg roll was nothing to talk about and the spring roll was just your typical spring roll. I wasnt a fan of the crab rangoon, idk what the crunchy stuff was that was inside of it and the texture of the inside was weird. The rice is ok. Its ok, but I would only get it again if all the other chinese restaurants were closed. Best Chinese on Main Street has waaaaaay better chicken wings and ill keep getting my crab rangoon from WanWang / MinsWok.
So I had order over the phone for a delivery for me and my family . The pleasant gentleman who answered the phone was extremely rude off the back but we love Ming’s house so I dealt with it . When I asked for ginger sauce and hot mustard they said extra charge !!! Extra charge for hot mustard I could understand ginger sauce yes but hot mustard no . We got the food no issue but what I would like too know is how you charge for hot mustard and then proceeded too add water into it ? My 6 year old tried it and says mom why does it taste like water . If y’all are gonna charge people for something make sure it’s quality food not something you added water too and charge people for . Please gentlemen who answers phone change your attitude maybe owner should make you go too classes on being professional 🤷🏻♂️
