Stopped by to grab a quick lunch the lady at the counter was very friendly and gave me a good amount of food for the price got some jalapeño chicken ( bomb ) some orange chicken ( also really good ) and lo mein The lo mein Looked kinda plan but ended up having some really good flavor everything I got was good and I Will definitely come back For more

I rarely do reviews, especially bad ones, but I’m making an exception for this place! We got take out from here for Valentine’s Day - big mistake! It has 4 stars so I thought it was safe to give it a try. Should have taken the time to read individual reviews. This was by far the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had! Ordered three different chicken entrees - orange, teriyaki, and spicy garlic - all tasted the same. The bbq pork was extremely dry, tasted like it had been reheated more than once or sat around way too long. I specified a time to pick it up, got there 15 minutes early and expected to wait but it was already all boxed up so it was cold when we got home (even though we live literally 5 minutes away). Ended up throwing most of it out. Never again!!

Came here for Thanksgiving. I'm new here from CA. This Chinese place is the best food I have had in years. The food is very fresh! I have never had a Chinese buffet before, and I was impressed. I can't wait to take my guest here to eat when they come to visit. Customer service is very good as well. They are quick to refill your drinks & pick up your dirty plates.

This is the worst Chineese food in town. They use spaghetti noodles for "lo mein" and its disgusting. The sesame chicken was mushy. Egg rolls were ridiculously greasy. The staff is friendly and restaraunt is clean. Just not good food. Save yourself the disappointment and go down the road half a mile to Taste of China.

Ordered the orange chicken with fried rice, chicken fried rice, egg rolls, and crab Rangoon. The chicken fried rice was not what I expected. The chicken tasted as if it had sat out at room temp all day and then refrigerated, only to heat it up again for purposes of fulfilling my order. It was thrown out. The orange chicken had a good flavor, but it was so stale and was very hard to chew. I do not recommend the chicken fried rice...at all. My children wouldn't eat it, and they eat everything. I fed 5 people for $50 . I have leftovers if anyone wants them. 🙃🫤

Small restaurant better for takeout as half the tables were used for office supplies and employees children. Food was good and service was efficient. The tofu with vegetables was good and you have to try the fried bread, sort of like donut balls. Very tasty.

Food is definitely the best in town. Fresh and delicious. Shrimp egg rolls had whole shrimp, not just pieces. Definitely our new regular place to stop for Chinese food.

We stopped by on our way to visit family. We recently moved to NC, where we have a very hard time finding even decent Chinese food. Guans is everything that we were missing. Their flavors are incredible, the meat and vegetable quality is high, and you can tell the food is cooked with love. We spoke with the owner who talks with a passion for the food they cook and serve. We watched as regulars came in and out, the owner knowing each one and their families. Located in a sea of chain restaurants, this is truly a special place. This small family establishment is absolutely worth trying. We will be back next time we are in town.

their lo mein is the best around, unless you like it sweet like candy (Ginza steak house lo mein is like that). sweet and sour chicken is great with all meat. chicken mushroom is good. I'm not a fan of their mei fun or fried rice. take out portions always large (see photo of containers always filled to the top). update: the hunan chicken is also terrific. see in photos how the container is bursting the lid and how high quality and fresh those vegetables are.

Visited for the first time. The food was very good. My husband got the hit and sour soup which was flavorful. He asked for it to be a bit spicier and got what he asked for. LOL! His chicken and black bean was very good. the veggies were crispy and cooked perfectly. I had egg foo young. the gravy was the best i had ever had- not too thick and very tasty. It was cooked a little more than I personally liked, but it was still very fluffy and light. We also tried chicken mei fun. the noodles were firm but not mushy and not oily, which we like. The General Tso was good but a bit on the sweet side for me. The chicken was battered in a way similar to sweet and sour chicken and the sauce was more sweet than spicy. Our son had asked for a little spicy and it wasn’t even that. The broc that came with it was excellent. Still crunchy and not soggy. Love that. Finally, the fortune cookies were very good. I know they don’t make them but wherever they get them the cookie is a tad sweet, great crunch and table fortunes inside. We will definitely be back!

I ordered last night and asked for a combo dinner which I didn’t get. I just got white rice. So once discovered when home, no fried rice or eggroll or spicy anything in the dish. I called the store and the woman claims she told me ( over the phone in broken English) “ I tell you no combo”. Bs. And she should have clarified when I asked her why my dinner was so expensive. So after cleaning up the leaking mess of a box of Chinese food I attempted to make the best of it. Only to wake up with food poisoning. I’ll be contacting the health department tomorrow. I would stay away in general but at least don’t eat anything with beef ( or you hope beef) in it.

Woman who took our order over the phone was rude af, delivery guy demanded a tip, saying we forgot to give them one, when he had tipped $8 for how quick he got here, and found a maggot in my beef & broccoli after spending over $40 on my order. Never ordering from there again and I hope you guys see this and don't order here either.

Was visiting Shenandoah University and looking for local place to eat. Ordered street noodles which was told to me to be the same as Thai Drunken noodles. It was busy during a lunch hour, seated immediately. Service was OK for a busy time. I'm pretty particular about my Thai food and this was pretty good but a bit bland. I'll rate it high b/c it's not DC. I'm from CA and somehow the Thai food in NoVA is a very high standard but it is so hard to find good Chinese food, not sure why.

The food was delicious! Great ambiance, nice bar, and plenty of parking. We will definitely come back! Also, tell Ming that Kelly sent ya! He's the nicest restaurant owner I've met!

We ordered from China wok for delivery. A couple hours later, they canceled our order without calling us or communicating with us in anyway. I’m not sure if it was because I set the order for pick up at the end of the lunch hour and ordered from the lunch menu? But I was not able to order from the dinner menu online. They did not give me a chance to replace my order with anything, they simply canceled eight lunch menu orders that we needed and were counting on.

Absolute best Chinese food in Winchester. I’m a Chinese food addict and try every Chinese place I can wherever I go. This is definitely one of the best I’ve had. Fried rice is on point and the triple delight is super filling. I’d recommend doing the combination platter.

Nice employees but that was the only perk other than the nice chandelier. There was only 2 booths so limited seating. One booth was full of supplies. The food was really bad sadly. The orange chicken was hard, dried out frozen and heated chicken covered in sauce, and his broccoli was cold. He then got curry chicken. It had the light yellow color for curry but no flavor. Said it tasted like salted chicken. I had pineapple chicken. As I was trying to go a healthier option. It had decent slices of chicken. But heavily soaked in a thick heavy sauce. I was scooping the sauce off to a separate bowl as it was just way over-soaked. Everything is also served on paper plates and paper cups for the hot tea, and plastic cutlery. The sauce for the steamed dumplings was actually the only thing I really enjoyed even though dumplings were not made fresh.

Amazing Food & Outstanding Service! We placed a rather large order from Eastern Chinese Restaurant during peak hours on a busy Saturday night. While the delivery took a little longer than expected (which is completely understandable given the timing), the experience was still top-notch. The delivery driver was incredibly kind, professional, and sincerely apologetic for the delay, which was greatly appreciated. But the real star of the night? The food! It arrived piping hot, as if it had just come straight from the kitchen, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beyond delicious. The quality and taste far exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for fantastic Chinese food in Winchester, this place is an absolute must-try! We’ll definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend!

Got a delicious lunch here, sesame beef. The server was friendly. Plenty of parking and easy accessibility. They had limited seating, unfortunately one whole wall was filled with cardboard boxes. Not a good look, could be used for more tables chairs.

Good pork wontons/soup, perfectly cooked pork rib, great beef spring rolls and spring rolls, consistent well cooked food throughout the meal, can be confident what you order will be good. The other two places close by are not as good but are close

Been going here since I moved here 9yrs ago. Most of the food is really good a few things are not to my taste but not everything is supposed to. I get we're a small town with little options but being someone who travels a lot to and back to Boston their food is definitely worth trying, rememberthis isnt Boston this is the sticks. The owners are very nice and friendly people. Pricing is usually quantity is a bit above average. Great place for a small town and a staple at that.

I ended up just cancelling my order. When it takes 10 minutes to discuss sauce it’s a little much. Was told no duck sauce in packets, only comes in containers and can have 1. Same with mustard sauce. I offered to pay extra. Nope. Was also told they do NOT have soy sauce at all. And I ordered large pork fried rice argued with me that they do not have just plain fried rice. I clearly ordered pork. Sweet Jesus what a fiasco. I used to order all the time from there but if it’s going to be aggravation every time. No thank you. Only gave one star because if would not let me post for zero.

We recently visited this Panda Express location that felt fresh and updated, with modern decor adding a nice touch to the overall atmosphere. The place had a welcoming vibe, and everything looked clean and well-maintained. Service-wise, the staff were attentive, polite, and efficient—definitely a positive aspect of the visit. As for the food, it was exactly what we expected: consistent flavors and quality that align with Panda Express' well-known standards. It’s always comforting to know you’re getting the same tasty experience, no matter which location you visit. Unfortunately, our meal wasn’t without issue. My daughter discovered a hair in her food bowl, which was quite disappointing and concerning. While mistakes happen, this is one that can detract from an otherwise good experience. I hope the management takes extra measures to ensure strict food safety and hygiene practices moving forward. Overall, while there were some great aspects to our visit, the incident with the food definitely leaves room for improvement.

We were driven to this new location thru a bogo flyer. Was so glad to see them closer to us, even downloaded the app. Headed down with hubby to try it out. Hooray marketing, you got me in AND got my email. Operations dropped the ball. Staff is running around but no one seems to know their position, everyone is doing ALL the jobs and the net result? We stand there for 5 minutes watching, waiting. Acknowledged but no one seems to understand whose actually going to help us. Finally we get helped, but then left hanging at the register. For another 5 min. If not for my bogo would have left. Not a smile in the place, no warmth, barely eye contact. The workers need help. Teach them their positions and how to slide. Give them a reason to smile. Food was meh, no super greens, no brown rice. Got 3 pieces of meat in my bowl, one not counted too chewy to eat.
