Shanghai Soup Dumplings 上海小籠包
The place is located inside the same building as Kai Man grocery store. We ordered scallion pancakes 4 pieces, Chive wrap 2 pieces, and Radish pancakes 3 pieces. These are freshly made. It came out of the freezer. The Scallion was really oily! I wished they would use something to take some of the oil. The chive wraps and radish pancakes aren't anything special. It lacks flavor. It came out to 23 bucks. Pretty pricey. They gave us a tiny dipping sauce that was half full. We didn't have the soup dumplings.
New shop owners say has been open about 3 months. It’s tucked away near the registers in the Kan Man market. I was skeptical being a food Court style place, but was pleasantly surprised. They tasted Very similar to the ones that I just had a week ago in Beijing. The veggie dumplings were a spinach dough with nice flavor. The Shanghai Original dumplings were delicious. The scallion pancake was an add-on, but it was very crispy and tasty. It’s good to know. I can grab a good bite to eat while I’m shopping.
SGD Dubu So Gong Dong Tofu & Korean BBQ
Went for my birthday lunch. It was very good and we will be back. I got the tofu bibimbap. Everything was hot and fresh and quickly delivered. My wife loved hers as well.
I recently visited this SGD Dubu near Braintree, MA, during my trip to Boston, MA, and it was a delightful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was top-notch. We tried the Tteok-bokki, which was incredibly flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The noodles from the soup with beef were a hit at our table, and the seafood scallion pancake was a must-try. What sets this place apart is its limited menu, which ensures that each dish is of excellent quality. They also offer lunch specials, which are worth it. Additionally, the food was served promptly, which was great since we were a group of 9. The best part was that they were happy to accommodate splitting the payments. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I would highly recommend."
China Pearl
My husband and I will come here whenever we crave for dim sum. Servers are always friendly although they only speak couple of English words. Some aunties will come and offer foods from their carts. They have steamed, baked and fried items. In my opinion, prices are affordable enough.
The fastest restaurant we will eat in and out of! It truly was the worst dimsum I have had in Boston area. The beef rice roll had a strange flavour The shrimp roasted rice roll was horrible The seafood smells really bad and the meat is very poor quality
Pho Countryside
Pho Countryside is a must-visit for authentic Vietnamese food in Quincy! The restaurant is clean, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the manager at the front welcomed us like family, which made us feel right at home. Ambiance was nice and casual. For our appetizer, we shared the Banh Xeo—perfectly crispy with fresh veggies, absolutely delicious! For our mains, we had the Pho Tai, Pho Saté, and Bun Rieu, and each dish was packed with rich, well-balanced flavors. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and authentic. We will definitely be coming back to try more dishes. Highly recommend!
Great service, passable viet food. Broth was decent for pho, but for that price, it’s ridiculous that there’s so little meat for an extra large. Everywhere else the extra large has bigger portions. The rice dish, the meats were ok, but the fried shrimp paste left much to be desired. Not crispy coming out. Not much other flavor in fish sauce. Overall, go only for convenience otherwise go elsewhere like pho so 1.
Taiyou Shabu & Sushi
One of the few remaining all you can eat sushi and hotpot restaurants. The hotpot is kind of subpar, I think the soup is good but the meats are frozen and sometimes rock hard when they come out. The vegetables are good and the variety of seafood is good, but the sauce needs some work as it wasn't that good. The sushi is excellent for the price. The sashimi looks fresh, and the rolls don't have the texture of cheap sushi. It feels good here and I really enjoyed it. The service is quite fast and accommodating, and the sushi comes out at a reasonable pace. This would've been a 4 star review but I knocked it down one star because multiple times when I came here, I've seen mice running around. This doesn't bother me too much as I know how it is, but it may bother some people who don't like the idea.
This place is good. The sushi is better than some other places in the area, both takeout and dine-in. Have done the AYCE sushi several times and it's always good. Has the hotpot for the first time recently and it was fine, not over the top amazing but for a neighborhood hotpot place, it's just fine. I have brought my
Hundred Miles Chinese Restaurant
The family lunch special is awesome. $ 36 for 3 dishes, ( choice of many delicious spicy & not spicy food) H&S soup, good portion of white rice. The place decors are really cool, artsy & cute.
I love vibe of this restaurant! Plus the food is really good. My favorite was definitely the beef shank noodle soup. The meat was soooooooo tender and the soup wasn't too spicy even though the color looks otherwise. The soup dumplings were also good - the skin is thin and the meat is flavorful.
South Garden
South Garden is a great spot for Chinese food! The garlic chicken was super tasty, and the lobster tower was incredible – so fresh and full of flavor. A little but way too crowded but they have plenty of parking. The staff was really nice, and the food came out fast. If you’re craving good Chinese food, definitely check out South Garden!
Overall a good place for Cantonese style dishes. Dishes are a little salty. But services are pretty fast. Items with prices on the menu are good, market price dishes can shock you.
Cloud Asian Fusion & Bar
I enjoyed the atmosphere, waiter were friendly and made sure we were fine multiple times, and music was overall great. Not to mention, the inside looks amazing. However, I definitely prefer the drinks over the food but, the food was still pretty good. I would suggest one of the dishes with steak. I personally got steak fried rice.
Very cute restaurant in a little plaza so parking isn't too much of an issue. We went on a Sunday night around 7 and was seated right away. Waitress was nice. I ordered a bunch of different plates for the table and they were all good except for the lobster. It was super soggy and didn't taste real. Idk it was too slimy for me. Rice portions were small for price but other than that everything was good.
Top Pot
The best All you can eat hotpot, sushi and skewers place I've ever had in my life!! Amazing food, great service (Jay is the best!) and nice drinks too!
We used to come here before they changed owners. I was a fan then but I am a bigger fan now. Service is quick and easy. Waitress' are knowledgeable and helpful. Drinks are tasty and are made very well. Love the addition of the sauce bar with kimchi. Meats and veggies are always fresh as is the sushi. Also loved that they had the Celtics game on.
