Authentic Chaoshan beef hotpot, probably one of the best in North America. All meats were freshly cut and reasonably priced. We also ordered the lobster congee soupbase, which came with a chopped whole lobster, and it was heartwarming. Protip: Don’t order the spicy Sichuan hotpot here!! This is a Cantonese restaurant by its heart.

Great place for hot pot, so delicious and has fresh and a wide variety of ingredients! Will recommend this place to everyone, a must go spot for hot pot in Quincy. Loved my waitress Ciney, she was extremely helpful.

Saigon Corner is a newer breakfast and brunch spot located in the heart of Quincy. The place is nice, friendly staff, and easy and quick service. Food is pretty well priced and good. I tried the Grilled beef with instant noodles. However, it was basically only instant noodles with grilled beef and some vegetables. For the price, the portion is alright, and it seems more like a quick service meal. I heard the other food is good though, so I'd have to try those out first. Just based off what I had, it wasn't anything special.

Came her for lunch. Nice small hole in the wall local spot. Its exactly what i expected. Great food, local feel. I had the curry fish balls which were very tasty with great curry flavor. Then had the Beef stew and wanton noodle soup. Great bursts of flavor even had tripe which was a nice surprice. I def recommend. Need to pay in cash or zelle.

This restaurant offers authentic Chinese cuisine and is a great choice for those looking to experience traditional Chinese home-style dishes. The prices are very reasonable. However, the restaurant is relatively simple in terms of ambiance, and parking is only available on the roadside, so plan accordingly. Overall, it’s ideal for those who prioritize taste!

The rice rolls at Big Fun Cafe are great—very authentic and incredibly tasty. It’s affordable too, which makes it even better. I would definitely recommend getting a rice roll if you stop by. Although the location might seem a little sketchy, it’s worth visiting if you’re in the area and looking for a quick bite!

Fairy Cafe - Hotpot Buffet 0

Fairy Cafe is a hotpot restaurant as well as serving other non-hotpot related dishes. The staff are friendly, and there's many seats available to eat as well as take-out options. The food comes out quickly, and staff are accommodating to most requests asked. I've tried the salt and pepper porkchop. It comes loaded with fried shallots, which is something I haven't really seen with dishes like this. The porkchop was cooked well, and tastes quite good. Rice is pretty standard, but most of the dishes looked good and of good quality. Overall, it's a hidden gem that most people won't know about, but it's really good and definitely should be tried.

I love this hidden gem! There’s not many places in Boston that do a great kimchi fried rice but this place has it down PACT! There’s a perfect amount of crunch from the kimchi and while the rice is spicy it’s not too spicy & the beef is always so tender. Not to mention the staff are ALWAYS extremely friendly, and courteous every time I visit which is at least 2x a month. It doesn’t get much better than this, great food for a great price.

We absolutely love their uniquely flavored roast pork. It is so flavored and crispy. We also enjoy the five spice flavored ducks and hand shredded chickens, all delicious. The service is always friendly and they make you feel like visiting neighbors. The Chinese New Year platter was The Best, such a good deal, a must buy if they offer it again.

Well balanced duck gravy which is fragrant and so appetizing on top of white rice.. egg noodle soup with beef brisket is another must order .. they have home made chilli oil which gives the right kick that accompanies the smooth slurpy noodles

Ordered takeout from here. Estimated wait from door to door was just under an hour. They got it to me in closer to 35 minutes. I can recommend the scallion pancakes, even after being delivered they were still nice and crunchy. I can also recommend general gaos chicken and the sweet and sour pork. We like to upgrade to the egg fried rice.

South Shores favorite Realtor here doing another food review. Honestly, this place is super authentic and you would never know it existed unless you drove here. It is off the beaten path, a little, but right in the heart of everything at the same time if that makes sense. I have to say I was absolutely impressed with the smiling staff and how nice they were. That was the first thing I noticed before even taking a bite of anything. I ended up getting the brisket wonton soup and a side of wings. I topped it off at the end with a red bean coffee. I will say this the soup was absolutely incredible, but the wings were a little too deep fried for me, but I could see how most people would love them. I highly recommend checking out this place if you get the chance as the menu is absolutely massive so there is plenty of options for everyone.

Absolutely incredible breakfast! The fried chicken sandwich was perfection—crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor, all on a unique biscuit-like bun that was slightly sweet and buttery. The balance of textures and flavors was spot on! The French toast was next-level—crispy on the outside, soft and custardy on the inside, topped with the perfect amount of crumble and drizzled with a rich glaze. Every bite was indulgent in the best way possible. Paired with hot coffee, this meal was an absolute treat. The food was clearly made with care, and the flavors were unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a standout brunch experience!

Definitely a spot I would revisit Got the -schezuan bao (ask for chili oil and soy sauce) really good! Great bun to filling ratio. Bun was the right softness and sweetness - crispy chicken sando- supreme fried chicken, bun was a bit sweet for me, it needs a spicy kick. I was not a fan of the slaw. But the Chicken was fried to perfection - fun fun noodles- if you’re a noodle person and like the texture of wide rice noodles you have to get it! This was my favourite dish! - egg something French toast: crispy crunchy! Perfectly fried! Simply amazing sweet ending

The place is located inside the same building as Kai Man grocery store. We ordered scallion pancakes 4 pieces, Chive wrap 2 pieces, and Radish pancakes 3 pieces. These are freshly made. It came out of the freezer. The Scallion was really oily! I wished they would use something to take some of the oil. The chive wraps and radish pancakes aren't anything special. It lacks flavor. It came out to 23 bucks. Pretty pricey. They gave us a tiny dipping sauce that was half full. We didn't have the soup dumplings.

New shop owners say has been open about 3 months. It’s tucked away near the registers in the Kan Man market. I was skeptical being a food Court style place, but was pleasantly surprised. They tasted Very similar to the ones that I just had a week ago in Beijing. The veggie dumplings were a spinach dough with nice flavor. The Shanghai Original dumplings were delicious. The scallion pancake was an add-on, but it was very crispy and tasty. It’s good to know. I can grab a good bite to eat while I’m shopping.

Went for my birthday lunch. It was very good and we will be back. I got the tofu bibimbap. Everything was hot and fresh and quickly delivered. My wife loved hers as well.

I recently visited this SGD Dubu near Braintree, MA, during my trip to Boston, MA, and it was a delightful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was top-notch. We tried the Tteok-bokki, which was incredibly flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The noodles from the soup with beef were a hit at our table, and the seafood scallion pancake was a must-try. What sets this place apart is its limited menu, which ensures that each dish is of excellent quality. They also offer lunch specials, which are worth it. Additionally, the food was served promptly, which was great since we were a group of 9. The best part was that they were happy to accommodate splitting the payments. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I would highly recommend."

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant twice with both friends and family, and I can confidently say I’ll be returning again and again! From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. The chicken wings were perfectly crispy and tender, and the soup dumplings were an absolute standout — delicate, savory, and packed with the perfect balance of broth and filling. The freshness of each dish truly shines through, and you can tell the ingredients are top-notch. Beyond the food, the ambiance is warm and inviting, making for a truly enjoyable dining experience. But what really sets this place apart is the exceptional service. Every member of the team was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel extremely welcome. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough — it’s a true gem that delivers on every level. Looking forward to my next visit already! I recommend making lettuce wraps with the ramen noodles beef and your sauce of choice, it really helped to eat all of the food and not leave too much left overs. I can’t forget to add the drinks were also delicious the melon juice and mai thai were delicious!!

Came here looking for late night eats since my flight to Boston got pushed to night. Have to say this place by far has great service, didn’t get the gentleman’s name, but he was definitely a pleasure to have assist us. Food was also great! Highly recommend going with at least two flavors - medium/medium is enough spice level for me. If you’re not used to the cuisine or too adventurous, stick with at least the shrimp paste for the recommended. Beef/lamb, meatballs, fish balls, greens and noodles are a must have for optimal flavor - please buy a sauce bowl, don’t make the rookie mistake of not buying that

Fresh, delicious sushi in a bright atmosphere! Good variety of classic rolls and unique ones. Great selection of vegetarian options as well. Our server was very nice and attentive. The perfect place for a special date or dinner out with friends!

Food was great, no complaints about that. In terms of taste, freshness, and aesthetics, they’ve all met my expectations. The server wasn’t very attentive, didn’t refill water for us in a timely manner, and even when she did, she missed out on one when it’s clearly right there in front of her. When we called out to her, she didn’t hear us, and it was a while before we’re able to ask for refill of water. The location of the restaurant was great, but the place was just too loud and noisy. Hard to have a conversation. Everyone is yelling on top of each other. Overall I’m happy with our experience there. Will go back at a non peak time.

I was looking for a good spot to find Bun Rieu and a friend recommended this place. Finally had a chance to try it and I’ll definitely be coming back. The staff was friendly and attentive to us. Each broth was bursting with flavor and we all gave it a 10/10 for first sip.

I am a huge Pho fan, have tried many Pho places in NYC and The Greater Boston area. In my opinion, Pho So 1 ranked # 1 of all the Pho I have tried. The broth is rich, can taste a bit salty at first; it balances out when you mix in the herbs and lime. For #14, Pho Dac Biet the XL bowl, they give A LOT of meat! Get the XL bowl if you LOVE Pho
