Talk about a hidden gem! This is my pregnant wife’s go to sushi in all of CT. I am so glad we discovered this restaurant last month. Such a wonderful couple run this with the utmost class and quality of food. The Ramen is to die for!!! This is a MUST try for any fan of sushi in CT.

We were greeted by the very friendly owners. They brought the menus and some hot green tea. We ordered some sushi rolls. Everything was very fresh and delicious. The gentleman came and cleaned up the table and gave us a complimentary mochi ice cream. Everything was great and the service was incredible. I would highly recommend this establishment.

Kiki's Kitchen

Kiki's Kitchen in Plainville is a great little spot with a nice variety of foods. Like many other reviews have said, it is a bit pricey. However you are getting freshly prepared and fresh tasting food. Steak Dip pizza was a unique flavor combination and definitely worth a try. Lamb Gyro tasted great. Gluten Free cheesecake was pretty good too, but again very pricey (big city, white table cloth prices). Service is very friendly and easy parking in the back.

This little gem 💎 is the best Mediterranean food in the entire planet!!!!!!! Highly recommend for Vegans - lots of tasty vegan options & especially the falafel 🧆 Like I've never had before, taste deliciousooo!! Service was spectacular & atmosphere is very homey.

I had an exceptional dining experience at Mama’s cafe. The Chicken 555, butter chicken, garlic naan were highlights, bursting with rich, aromatic spices. Whether for a casual meal or special occasion mama’s cafe is must visit Indian cuisine. Highly recommended.

A cozy spot with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and delicious homemade-style food. The breakfast options are hearty, and the coffee is always fresh. Service is friendly, though it can get a little slow during peak hours. A great choice for a comforting meal in a relaxed setting!

With its unbeatable combination of delicious food, great ambiance, and top-notch service, it's a must-visit destination for food lovers.

The restaurant was clean and the staff was polite. I grabbed some food to go. The Singapore noodles were absolutely delicious! Flavors were on point, and there was a nice kick. I also really liked the flavors of the chicken wings. I usually don't review wings when I get them to go, but the flavors held up perfectly. The egg roll was perfect! The hot and sour soup was solid. Could use a dash of sesame oil. I would have given a five, but the teriyaki was very tough. It was a very thick cut of meat. You really needed a knife and fork to eat it. It also had just a sweet flavor to it. I know that it's a fusion restaurant. However, it would have been nice to see lobster sauce on the menu. That is a staple in Massachusetts. Overall, it was a great experience. I would definitely go back.

This is mainly a takeout restaurant. It does have a few tables though. My ratings are basically on the food. The staff inside were friendly. It had that real dark New England duck sauce. Egg Rolls are perfect! The Beef Teriyaki is absolutely delicious. Very tender and well marinated. Wings were well marinated and juicy. The Boneless Spareribs were tender, low fat and had a nice flavor. The Lobster Sauce was old school dark and delicious with plenty of pork, the right thickness and a nice flavoring. Pork Fried Rice was solid. Great place to grab food to go!

Food is consistent, amazing staff. I brought my 3 year old to pick up my order. One of the woman working made him feel comfortable as he was a little nervous, but he soon asked if we could eat the food there instead. So we sat down and started unpacking the food and the woman noticed us eating and brought over plates, silverware and anything else we needed, she was so nice and made us feel like we were at home. Imperial dragon in my opinion is the best Chinese food for the price in our area. I recommend it for its service, food, price, and how efficient they are.

Friendly's

Talk about old school living in reminiscence but with a current lineup..I haven’t had Friendly’s in yeeears. I was nearby and saw the restaurant and said yippie, let’s see if they’re open. I had Alexa as my waitress..couldn’t decide what I wanted but had it narrowed down to a choice of 2; the Philly Melt or the Cool Ranch Chopped Burger. Told her that I wanted her to pick and don’t tell me what it was..just bring it out and that’ll be lunch. She did and she chose the Cool Ranch Chopped Burger..o..m..g..cooked perfectly, seasoned great and just enough cheese, jalapeños and chips to make it a full meal for the burger by itself..not counting the fries that came with it **fries were on the cold side, but it’s not their fault** You get the free happy ending sundae, so I got it with mint chocolate chip..a childhood favorite of mine. Overall…I will gladly make this a weekly trip here..definitely a 9.7/10..bathrooms were clean. I said about the fries being cold…it feels about 40° in here but factor in that it’s 100° outside…again, not their fault.

Friendly is very different now. No good fries no great food everything is made quickly so nothing tastes right. I hate how I am treated here they don't care about you as a customer it's very much like robotic. Make food from frozen and make sure it is done professionally we won't be coming back. Everything has changed so much. Love the ice cream. We will go back for that but I even watched the chef eat right while making plates here and I complained to the manager and nothing was said in front of me anyway.

Lee's Garden Kitchen

Very tasty. I got the chicken teriyaki skewers and the general tso chicken combo with pork fried rice. Everything was hot and fresh. My only gripe would be I would like a little bit more sauce on the general tso chicken. Otherwise this is a super solid local Chinese takeout spot and their prices are very reasonable

I've been ordering from here for years now, even after they changed Owners. I was Trying to place an order tonight and was told I'm on a list to not to deliver to anymore. I have no clue why I have had no issues with them in the past ever.

No flavor. Boneless ribs were hard. Fried rice was a bit stale. Only got like 6 pieces of roast pork. Never again.

Great Kung Po chicken, I’ve had it 3 times now. They always seem to have my order ready for pickup within 15 minutes or less. I would recommend this place to a friend.

Applebee's Grill + Bar

We decided to do a Applebees on a date night, and yes, my honey got the Oreo shake. Our server, Tim, was amazing. The place was slammed and he didn’t miss a beat. We started with the classic combo appetizer, it was good… though the spinach dip seemed different than before. I had the sweet and spicy chicken sandwich, and my honey had the bacon cheddar chicken sandwich. Both were great, but be warned, they are huge. Like really huge. Overall, a great night.

I came here a few weeks ago with my friend. It was my first time ever going to an Applebees. It was a Saturday night so the restaurant was packed. However we waited no more than 10 minutes for a table. Our server was nice, no complaints about her. But, our utensils were dirty. It was so disgusting. Thankfully our server didn’t give us a hard time and went and got clean ones for us. We got waters for our drinks and it tasted so bad. It tasted like sink water. I’ve been to other restaurants and their water didn’t taste like that. Our food took awhile to come out since it was busy. My friend got chicken, shrimp and mushrooms and I just got a steak. My steak was alright but my friend wasn’t the biggest fan of her food. It was bland. Chain restaurants are often a hit or miss. I feel like this place is a miss. The fact that the utensils were dirty was just a huge turn off. At a restaurant you should expect the utensils to be clean. I definitely wouldn’t come here again.
