Came here to get some sushi for lunch the pricing was outstanding and the quality was top notch atmosphere was very cozy staff was accommodating and everything was fresh and delicious. Happy to have found this little spot look forward to coming back again in the future

Unfortunately this restaurant has not impressed me and I would call it mediocre. As much as I don’t want to say it, I wouldn’t recommend it if you are wanting authentic Chinese food. I moved nearby and was hoping it was going to become a staple. I’ve been twice and both times were a let down. They serve 2 cuisines as the name implies instead of focusing on one and I think suffers from this. The Sushi is a little better than their Chinese food. The sushi is okay, but not great. I had the Alaskan Maki and the rice starting to fall off and it was not tightly wrapped. The crab rangoons were okay, but came with a sauce that was not good. It was not a sweet and sour which you typically get, but was a white sauce that was overly sweet with not much flavor. The Beef with Eggplant in Garlic Sauce had a basic sauce that tasted like it could have been from a bottle. The Szechuan Style Bean Curd in Spicy Sauce wasn’t very good. The waitress told me it was similar to mapo tofu (which I love) which it didn’t taste anything like. It had a really strange flavor that is hard to describe. The shrimp in the dried sauteed shrimp was good but not very spicy and the crispy rice it came on was interesting and had a texture similar to packing peanuts. It could have used a sauce or something else added to it because it was very dry. Overall, the food seems tailored to an American audience and wasn’t very flavorful. If you are wanting authentic Chinese food nearby I would recommend Shaanxi Gourmet or Sichuan Gourmet. If you want Sushi, it’s okay, but it wasn't the highest quality.

I’ve been here twice and will definitely keep coming. I really liked the cold skin noodles as an appetizer and highly recommend it. Lamb skewers were also really good but a little expensive for what you get. I liked the Sizzling Cumin Lamb as it had a lot of flavor. It had a little spice but not too much (I would have preferred it even spicier). I typically like to get spicy dishes but decided to also get the Eggplant in Brown Sauce. Lots of tender eggplant and the brown sauce is slightly sweet which goes nicely with a spicy dish. It also has bok choy, wood ear mushrooms, and tomatoes in it for a nice variety of vegetables. If you need something not very spicy, the Sizzling Beef Fillet with Black Pepper would be good. One dish I did not like was the Spicy Chicken with Crispy Rice. The fried chicken was decent but quite salty. The rice it came with was cubes of super crunchy rice that was difficult to eat with the chicken. The combination of the dry rice with fried chicken made it very dry of a dish.

Shaanxi Gourmet has delicious authentic Chinese food without having to drive into the city. The restaurant itself is very clean and casual and the staff are very friendly. They make everything in-house. I started with a lychee iced tea, delicious! My first plate was soybean paste homemade noodles. This was this noodles in a mouthwatering soybean meat sauce. The flavors were amazing! This dish also had fresh sliced cucumbers that tasted really good mixed into the dish. My next dish was pork intestine in a brown sauce. Pork Intestine, in general, is like eating extremely tender pork. It is delicious! This also had my favorite wood ear mushrooms, fermented black beans. This dish was a showstopper! I also tried their crispy orange sesame chicken. This was crispy, with nice flavoring without a heavy sauce. Definitely recommend! The egg rolls were a mix of cabbage, celery, and meat. They had a nice flavor. The duck sauce was traditional with a little spice added, possibly cinnamon. For dessert I had warm tapioca. It was also delicious! The restaurant quickly filled up. It seemed the majority of the guests were speaking Chinese! I take that as a good sign. Shanxi is part of Northern China. I think they do an amazing job honoring their food. This is a must try!

Worker at front gave attitude when I asked for utensils (rolled his eyes), and we found a piece of hair with the follicle in our beef chow foon. Taste was good but very disappointed and grossed out.

My family has ordered from here for years- I now live in nyc but whenever I am home I make sure we get take out from mandarin cafe. No Chinese take-out has even come CLOSE to this place. The dumplings are some of my favorites - and the chicken with cashews is unmatched. Quality is far beyond similar establishments. With everything in the world always changing, I find comfort in knowing I can come home and mandarin cafe is still here serving the same amazing food I ate as a child.

My and my fiancé went to PF Changs today since we couldn’t go to puttshack. It was so delicious. I ordered the egg drop soup it has carrots and egg. It’s refreshing and delicious. My fiancé ordered the vegetable fried rice he loves it. I ordered the chicken pad Thai, and it’s bursting with flavor from the chicken the noodles, the fresh cilantro, peanuts, and egg. Recommend it if your not allergic to anything.

Joey at P.F. Chang’s bar is the best! He recommends the best things on the menu depending on what your preferences are. He recommended me the sangria and the banana spring rolls and they are amazing I get them every time I come. Come see Joey if you want great experience!

The 4.2 average rating absolutely makes no sense. We ordered takeout tonight and of the $75 we spent, probably 50 is going into the trash. My wife and kids refused to eat it and we are not particularly picky. Peking ravioli inedible. Large, grotesque and oily. Beef and broccoli. Just greasy and zero flavor. This is a staple dish, how is it so terrible? Vegetable fried rice. Somewhat edible but just bad. No flavor and covered in oil. Mango chicken. Very good. The only dish that saved the dinner. Hot and sour soup. Average, but way too spicy. Sour and hot balance way off. Please save yourself the money and try anything else. This was our first and last. Wish we could get our money back.

We were planning on eating at Joy Luck but was surprised of the mall eating area. We decided to eat at home. The food was very good the General Tso was nice and crispy.

The portion and quality of the food was ok compared to the price (around $12 - $13 per person). Tasty and delicious!

Came here with my mom on Saturday to the Natick Mall. We stopped by the food court and my mom decided she wanted to get her food from this place so as I’m ordering for her the lady is already rushing me and not letting me translate to my mom who is a Spanish speaker. My mom ends up asking for some chicken that had broccoli and TWO crab ragoons. The lady proceeds to rush to the end not listening and placing 4 crab ragoons on the plate. When we sat down and my mom started eating her food she realizes that her meat is RAW. Immediately I take it up the same lady and politely asked for it to be thrown out and exchanged for something else. Immediately she catches an attitude with me. I paid for the food, no one wants to eat raw chicken and then given attitude and dismissive behavior when asking for an accommodation.
