Star House Chinese Restaurant
The Best Chinese takeout in the area and wonderful people, I’m very picky about food and this place is excellent a must try ! The soups are hearty and flavorful the chicken teriyaki big and well cooked great in place !
The spicy green beans were not as good as I was expecting not that crisp/ Hot. The spicy chicken wings were good. But Nothing to go crazy about nice ppl. Just take out only. Not my favorite spot 2 say the least but overall average chinese food.
Joy Luck Club
I tried this place based off the ratings and I was sadly let down. I do not know if today was an off day for the cooks but the food was not good at all. I spent over $30 and it was greasy and flavorless. I didn't think that was possible but today it was. Even the chicken wings had no flavor. I just do not understand. The duck sauce was sour. (Not sure if it was sitting out too long but it was awful😞) I love dark sticky rice so I was excited when saw it originally but is was gross and greasy. I would rather pay more for better quality.
Great service good food good people serving up classic Chinese food. If ur craving some affordable Chinese food. Quick and easy come here great family business Joy luck.
U Dumpling House Framingham
Cozy, relaxed atmosphere, great food with exceptional service. We came in hungry with two kids and the staff was very welcoming and did a great job explaining the menu and getting food to our table in no time. We have been here twice now. Once on a date night and once with the kids. The place has been consistent with its food taste. The food is fresh, made to order, and delicious! The Chicken dish was served fresh with vegetables and had flavorful broth with a nice kick. In addition to the Chicken dish, We had the pork and vegetable steamed dumplings. The dumplings were the right thickness, had a great flavor, and had a nice ginger dipping sauce. The pork was extremely tender. The dish had great flavors and truly was amazing. It's definitely a place to checkout. It has some New England style Chinese food as well as authentic.
Westbound, hungry, and driving through an unusually slow traffic, it was only a matter of time before my itching fingers and fiendishly famished stomach determined the next course of action. Swerved off the next exit, pulled up a list of nearby restaurants, rerouted, and floored it. Fudge it. Hungry. Don’t care. Hungry. Just drive like another M@$$hole and get this nonsense over with. U Dumpling House had immediately caught my attention. I couldn’t recall where I had read about it but it was positive. Now that it’s just a few minutes away from where I was, why the heck not? Dimsum and soup dumplings? Can’t go wrong right? Then again, I don’t ever remember anyone this hungry complain about anything in the moment until *way* after the meal… So I rapidly ordered away like it was my last meal before I met my maker. Stuck to the usual choices to see their take on classic dim sum dishes. Best part? Food didn’t take long at all to trickle in straight from the kitchen (no dim sum cart here, as expected). While the preparation was slightly different from what I’ve been accustomed to for the last few decades, I found their style both pleasant and tasty. At least, most of it was…and I would have given them 5 stars easily if it wasn’t for a few missteps that I can’t let slide. Dry Sautéed String Beans. As good as your version is…the word “dry” means a particular technique that does not involve blanching the beans. I expected something but received something else. That one step has a different texture and matters to those who know this dish well. Moreover, I expected the soup dumplings, which you are famous for, to stand out. I can’t say it did and that’s me being nice. Anyways, I definitely recommend anyone in the immediate area craving Chinese food or dim sum to at least try them out once. You may end up being one of those several regulars there that day that obviously frequent this place.
Sichuan Gourmet
Really lovely place to eat with friends or family. Family style dishes so would recommend not going alone, though they do have lunch options during weekdays. A little noisy, but the food was great, service was prompt and decoration fun.
We have been coming to this restaurant for at least 10 years now, and every single time, the food has been amazing and consistent. I know of people who have packed this food and taken it to Texas. No joke. Amazing food, great service, and reasonable prices. Now I remember back in the days we use to come here for lunch specials and the prices were really cheap. Although over the years the prices have gone up, the great quality and quantity of food has remained the same. We truly believe this is one of the if not the best Chinese Sichuan Restaurants in Massachusetts. When we try another Chinese restaurant, we are disappointed because this place sets the expectations for restaurants 0VER THE TOP. Over the years I have realized that different people get used to different dishes and stick to it. We always get the same dishes (in the pictures) and I believe that everything here is amazing and everyone should make a stop. The goods may be too spicy for some, After 10 years of eating here every week I would recommend: 1. Chicken Napa cabbage: Order this dish for take away or eat it there with Rice. Vegetarian can replace Chicken with Tofu. 2. Dry Chicken with Chili Oil : Order this dish if you are only sitting there and eating it. This dish is state of art. Goes great with beer as nibbles to eat. 3. Shredded Chicken and Gongua dry fish fillets - Great dishes which go well with fried rice. 4. Chengdu Lamb: Best Lamb ever. You will not find a similar lamb anywhere and The place will not disappoint. The texture is so soft that it melts in your mouth. Make sure you eat there and eat. Take-aways are fine as well but the quantities are less and they just don't taste the same.
Zheng Garden Chinese Restaurant
Fantastic place! Great atmosphere if you’re a fan of genuine family run locations. The place is clean while obviously worn by time and traffic. That’s my kinda vibe. The staff is super friendly. They immediately recognized we were new and made sure to check in and get our opinions on the food. They even came to our table and packed up our leftovers. They have free tea which isn’t normal but very awesome. The food is A++. Fresh, fast, and not full of grease. I had the General Tso’s and the hot and sour soup. Both great and came out in under 10 minutes! Will be coming back regularly from now on!
Craving Chinese’s at 9 p.m. and we didn’t want to drive into Boston. So, we decided to try Zheng’s. We got General gao, pork lomein, and boneless spareribs. Everything was tasty. The spare ribs were tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Staff was friendly. Glad we found our new go to spot.
Three gorges Framingham
Great little takeout place! Food is delicious and the owners are so kind and caring. You can see when people care about their product. We got orange chicken and chicken noodle soup and everything was very fresh, meaty and delicious. Crab Rangoon were crispy but not overfried, just perfect. Highly recommended!
The food is decent but a little expensive for the entrees to not come with rice and has to be purchased separate. The shrimp fried rice was very bland and could use a little flavor. Overall it's not the worst I've ever had.
