The portions are great! The Hot and sour soup is so flavorful and the perfect level of spice. Great fresh tuna and such I rice. Service is professional and friendly

The place is small, but the one time I ate in, the service was good. I ordered takeout tonight, and the tender beef was very chewy and not tender at all. The sauce was good, though. The orange chicken was delicious, but on multiple bites, I bit into a very bitter piece of orange peel which tainted the flavor. I will be back, because it is convenient and normally good, but I will avoid these dishes in the future.

I recently ordered from this Chinese restaurant, and I’m absolutely impressed! The food is absolutely delicious—packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The delivery service is super easy and fast, making the whole experience hassle-free. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again! Thank you

I am absolutely appalled at the way I was just treated by the man working. He yelled at me to the point I was in tears walking out of the restaurant. Here are the facts: -I ordered at 11:43. He told me they don’t open until noon but the food would be ready in 20 minutes. I said that is fine and appreciated they took the order early as I didn’t know that. -I arrive (along with other customers) a few minutes after 12pm to the door locked. -We finally are let in. I said I was there for pickup. I immediately was getting yelled at by the man saying I TOLD YOU WE DON’T OPEN UNTIL NOON. To which I calmly reply I know, but you told me 20 minutes so that’s why I am here, at 20 minutes as you instructed. He then continues to yell at me repeatedly. I simply say I do not know why you’re yelling at me. I am just trying to feed lunch to my kids and my 95 year old grandmother who is a frequent and loyal customer. -he continues to yell at me saying he will cancel the order. I get upset due to the way he was speaking to me and leave. I would have been 100% fine waiting as I know he took my order early but it was the manner he was speaking to me from the start that left me in utter disbelief. If it was going to be an issue, why did he take the order early? Why not tell me 30 minutes? I called back where he not only continued to yell at me, he hung up on me. Again, my family frequently orders from here and we have always been perplexed at their customer service skills, but this time I am so disappointed an older adult man would speak to a young female customer in the aggressive manner he did. I never leave reviews but felt compelled as it seems this terrible customer service is a common theme here. I do not know how they will remain in business when there are so many other kind and caring local business owners.

Called and had an order delivered if you’re gonna serve English speaking people and I hate to sound prejudiced, but I’m not learn how to speak English. Order was wrong and the food sucked. I don’t know if they have new management or something but it wasn’t bad three or four years ago That will be my last order ever.

After having visited several less then satisfactory Chinese food restaurants, my mother and I decided to try the Eighty Eight. The food was delicious. We were very pleasantly surprised. We opted to eat in, which we both enjoyed. It's a great (very clean) place to spend a quiet meal with a friend or loved one. You can stay as long as you want, and the owners/staff were very nice.

Bought lunch today-to go. Couldn't eat it! Pork fried rice was chewy & old-even vegetables in it were pathetic. Boneless spare ribs were dry & chewy... tasteless! So tragic because it WAS a great place to eat.

Update due to pandemic restrictions: Buffet had been closed. But I hear it may be reopening! . Wonderful food and people! The restaurant is basically three different areas, the sushi bar area, the dining room and the large buffet serving area. The buffet area has been closed throughout the pandemic, but the restaurant still offers dine in, take out, curbside pickup and delivery! We mainly visit the sushi bar, where Tony served an excellent Mai Tai and Jerry prepared some of the most stunningly beautiful and delicious sushi creations on the North Shore! Don't miss the juicy mini buns or the special chicken wings!
