Jin Jin Chinese Restaurant
Ordered House Special Fried Rice to eat in. The interior is spartan, with an unused buffet taking up space and bicycles parked next to it. Walls need painting. No tapwater available, only bottled water for sale. The House Special Fried Rice wasn't -- it was yellow rice that was not stir-fried, which is the entire appeal of fried rice. It had a smattering of proteins but no egg and the rice was entirely tasteless.
First time I went there I got the Singapore mei fun which was decent so I decided to try them again tonight. I ordered a regular general's tso chicken which tasted very bland and such a small portion for 12 bucks. I'm glad they offer plenty of sauce packets, you'll need it if you order it. General tso's chicken: 6.4 out of 10 Chicken fried rice was just yellow rice with sauteed onions and chicken, nothing remotely looked like it was fried. I'll give it a 4.1. The egg roll was decent even though it wasn't crispy. With a little help of the spicy mustard and made it a 7.1 which is generous It's in downtown Easton so parking can be limited. They do have some tables inside on one side of the buffet which looks like it's being used for storage and on the other side of the buffet is storage for bicycles.
House of Hunan
I haven't dined in at House of Hunan in years- we usually order out. It's the only Chinese place in town that we can patronize because of my husband's allergies and cross contamination of seafood. They must keep things pretty clean and separated when requested because we've never had an issue. The important part: my husband and I went today and were impressed by the service, presentation, and taste of the food. It really was a lovely experience and we're excited to go back!
My granddaughter and I went last week. We had a lovely lunch together. I had the sesame chicken and she had the orange chicken. The lunch special not only was it inexpensive. It was very good. Actually I took enough home. I had enough for my dinner.
Hong Kong Kitchens
Order delivery from here all the time, and they never disappoint! The food always arrives hot and fresh, and it's packed perfectly to avoid any mess. The Sweet and Sour Chicken is a favorite in our house, and the egg rolls are always crispy. They even throw in extra sauces, which is a nice touch. Delivery is quick, and the drivers are always friendly. Highly recommend for anyone who loves great Chinese food without leaving the house!
This place is great. Ignore the one star reviews that complain about not enough packets of sauce, just request what you want. Wontons and veggie spring rolls are great, not greasy. Veggie soup is really nice. Gal at front speaks good English and very polite. Can’t wait to try more dishes.
Dragon Express
This place is great! Don’t let the “strip mall”appearance deter you. They are currently updating the store fronts also, so make sure you find this place! I’ve been coming here for six years. I’m glad they survived the pandemic. It has always been carry-out only and the family is super nice. You don’t even have to leave your car! My General Tso’s combo (white meat) was super chunky and fresh, with flavorful fried rice. The fried dumplings are delicious. The “Chef’s Specialties” have never disappointed.
My food was very, very good and they have a very nice family dynamic. The one with the ponytail and glass is very nice and under stood the picture
China Buffet
Been here several times and when we are craving certain foods we are glad they always have it. Our 6 year old loves chicken nuggets so I’m glad he opts to eat the chicken skewers instead and other foods they have. He definitely loves the ice cream. I appreciate that they have hot green tea available as a drink option. This is our go to place to eat when we don’t want to order separate dishes elsewhere so it works for us. We have never gotten sick eating here.
On Friday evening January 24, 2025, my wife & I were in the mood for Chinese food. The entrees in their buffet tasted good, but what followed wasn't good at all. In the wee hours of the night, we both had painful cramps and diarrhea. Our bathrooms stayed occupied with multiple trips most of the following morning. We won't be going back to "China Diarrhea Buffet."
