We arrived at 11am on a weekend and there was no line outside the restaurant. The restaurant was quite comfortable and they did not have a lot of ‘dimsum kart’ in the restaurant so it might take some time for you to get the food. The selection of food was of a limited range - which was quite disappointing. The quality of food was fine - not the best dimsum but fair enough. The price was also quite cheap compared to the other similar restaurants in the region.

We might be a bit late, close to 2pm, for dimsum on Saturday. We got no-to-bad service, so-so food with reasonable prices, however. Won't go again, not recommended.

I feel bad saying this because the girl at the front is really sweet and helpful. But the food is disgusting. They used spaghetti noodles to make lo mein. Their been Schizuan wasn't Schizuan at all. The plain rice tasted off and old. To be honest I was afraid to eat the rest of it. We will not be going again.

Ordered here for the first time in over a year. All I can say is wow. They have vastly improved the quality and experience. I ordered the general tso and the chicken was CRUNCHY, just fresh and delicious! The portions were huge and the pricing was just affordable. I also ordered the eggplant is garlic sauce and it was so darn good. They use the real Chinese eggplant, it was fresh, delicious, and portions enough for two people. I will be back again soon for sure! Thank you

Walked in and immediately saw the restaurant employee having a great conversation with a happy customer — so I knew my partner and I were in the right place. We asked for a menu and were given a detailed but not messy menu. She then explained to us how the dinner platters and sides work. It all sounded good to us (almost reminded me of a Chinese restaurant my family and I grew up eating). My partner and I ordered two General Tso’s platter priced nicely, an order of Chicken Lo Mein, and Shrimp Fried Rice. We then asked how long, and were told about 10-15 minutes. We waited in the car for 10 minutes and as I moved to get out of my car, the previously mentioned employee hand delivered it to us in a sturdy container — very friendly service. Lastly, the food was great. The chicken in the General Tso’s Chicken was superb and the fried rice was pretty great. The only issue I had with the food was the Chicken Lo Mein tasted quite salmon-y. Other than that; they will see me soon.

This place was so good! We’ve been looking for a good Chinese restaurant since moving here from NJ, and the food has been so delicious. We got the Pu Pu Platter, beef and broccoli, garlic Parmesan wings, sesame balls, and egg drop soup. The beef and broccoli was cooked really well and the vegetables were really fresh and crisp. The egg drop soup was so good and reminded me of when I was younger getting take out with my family! The Pu Pu platter was a great way to sample a lot of the appetizers and the egg rolls were my favorite. Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in silver spring, and the owner was so sweet. :)

Usually when I order my food would be great. The last 3 times my food has been AWFUL. I ordered General Tso chicken, not spicy. I received SPICY. The next time I ordered General Tso chicken, I received Orange chicken (with orange peels inside) that would've been good if I liked Orange chicken and I don't. The third time I ordered General Tso chicken, shrimp and beef. The beef was so TOUGH, my dog couldn't eat it. The chicken was stringy and dry so I wasted enough of my money here, no more for me. The sushi California rolls has always been PERFECT.

Went in on a Monday afternoon. Ordered general tso chicken lunch special. Fried wings. Roll of the year. The roll has a lot going on. If you like spicy mayo and eel sauce go for it. Wings were so hot burnt my fingers. Very clean. No RR.

This might be my new spot for Chinese food. Small carryout place but everything I've tried has been On-Point! The Chicken Wings are done DC style (my favorite) and they have the best Mambo Sauce I've had outside DC! Last order I had the Shrimp Hunan, combo Lo Mein and Chicken wings , Wow! Awesome.. Can't give 5 stars because no seating, just carry out, but what they do here, they do very well. I've walked up to order the Wings twice in the last week and both times there were people outside waiting for their food, a testament to how popular they are. Also got delivery and they said 50 minutes but the food arrived in 30 minutes. Definitely give them a try! (Carryout only).. check out the few photos 👇

THE COMBO LO MEIN IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. So delicious I had to tell all my friends. Thank you QQ China!

I love this Chinese food place. Amazing egg rolls and really good chicken wings 10/10. The portions and prices are set good. The food is always hot! When ordering delivery especially on Uber eats or DoorDash the majority of the time your food will be cold, but their food is always hot!

I ordered, delivery, 10 piece lemon pepper wings they were so salty I could not even finish one! I also ordered my kids 5 piece regular chicken wings because they are big. I called and the lady told me to bring the food back, keep in mind I tipped the driver well but I wasn’t willing to pay for him to come pick up the rancid salty chicken. The lady kept screaming at me that’s the way they seasoned the lemon pepper wings. I love lemon pepper wings I have eaten them from many restaurants, this was the first time I order them from here. Customer service was definitely lacking. The wings had spoiled is my guess and they tried to cover it up with salt because after there was a lingering smell of rancid chicken. I was never offered a refund, apologies just told over and over to bring back the chicken. I ordered from this take out Saturday and I also had to throw out the chicken lomien. Something definitely needs to be checked out in their kitchen! Do I hear food inspectors…They are closed Tuesday so I promised her I would take her back her salty I mean lemon pepper wings on Wednesday! 😂

Quick and easy Chinese food. Relatively cheaper price compared to other takeout places nearby. Menu pictures as of 3/22/2025

Not very clean and the lady up front was kinda rude after I had to have her repeat herself 2 times due to loss in translation of accent. Not her fault but could of done less with the attitude. The place could def use housekeeping.

food is very fresh, best service ever! family owned and tastes very authentic. ma po tofu was very soft and nice. chicken pad thai tasted really authentic and good. Chicken with black bean sauce was great, veggies were crispy and fresh, and the chicken was tender. General Tso’s veggie chicken was very good and the chicken tasted good. All in all, Mandarin resturant is a great Mandarin cuisine, I would highly recommend it. $30-50 for four people.

Really good takeout style Chinese food! I got panfried dumplings which came with a very good sweet soy sauce dip, beef lo mein, and hot and sour soup. They also have some handmade (?) bracelets for sale that are really pretty

Absolutely love this place!! Classic comfort Chinese restaurant but the food is actually good. Orange chicken/beef is my favorite and they use real oranges?? Mixed veggies are good and not mushy

Worst Chinese take out I’ve ever had. Sweet & sour chicken was neither and came without any onion, pepper or pineapple. Cashew chicken was WAY over salted. 2 stars instead of 1 only because vegetable egg foo young was passable, as was beef with snow peas. Delivery was speedy.

They refuse to let me pay by credit card telling me that someone I know disburse a charge even after o have absolutely no clue of who they are referring to and I never ordered anything from them before today. I think this is crazy to fry assume and be absorbed wrong and have a policy that they accept cash/card. Never ordering from this place ever again .

I love it when I see a nice local place with a family working hard in the back. I stopped by here becuase I needed a quick eat and they provided that. The prices a normal, nothing out of the ordinary compared to other fast food Chinese. The service is nothing special, its not a restaurant, so don't expect it. Overall, it is a nice place I would recommend for some good Chinese fast food. Shrimp Chow Fun: Noodles was thick and surprisingly, was not salty at all. It is the first time eating something with little salt for fast food place. There was good shrimp volume and overallx just yummy noodles if your a fan. General Taos: Liked that the chicken to rice ratio was good. There was so much chicken that it didnt seem there was any rice. There general chicken was good and crispy, the sauce was salty as expected in and enjoyable. No issues here, I mean its general chicken… Hard to mess it up. Hot Soup: This is some, serious hot soup and fantastic. The spicy level was beyond what I thought and loved it. It was simple spicy hot soup with tofu abd mushrooms in it, its perfect.

I got the Shrimp and Broccoli and Orange Chicken, and both were spot on. The shrimp were super fresh, the broccoli had the perfect crunch, and the sauce was delicious. The Orange Chicken was crispy, flavorful, and had just the right amount of sweetness. Big portions, good prices, and really friendly service. Definitely coming back!

I was mildly buzzed walking in this joint. From the door, I didn't see prices besides on the lunch menu, the dining area had boxes stacked on the right side, there was no ambient sound or anyone sitting in there. When I was outside still, the front lady looked me dead in the eyes and yawned like she hadn't slept in 3 days. I knew this place was either garbage or serving straight heat. I go up and ask, "How big is the Sesame Chicken?" She imitates my hands and says, "Big". I ordered that with BBQ ribs and Lo mein even though the only lo mein on the menu was shrimp, she asked, "What kind?". The place gave off trying to make rent vibes, the prices were higher than Blue Pearl but quality was better than Panda Express. I dont usually take left overs but this place had me feeling satisfied and saving some for tomorrow.

Dined here meeting friends for Dim Sum. The staff was overwhelmed and service quite slow. On one hand Yee Assoc of DC entertainment for Chinese New Year was quite interesting. However, it was excruciatingly loud, so much so I think it was harmful to everyone's auditory health. Seriously the drummer needed to tone it down more than half! It was deafening. Friends reported the restroom had leaks and was in disrepair. Not high on list to return to due to service, atmosphere and environment. The menu is heavily into seafood and shrimp. Fine if everyone can eat that; not so much with allergies or restrictions.

The place was packed! We had a table for 9 and sat 11, as two were lap babies. We ordered about 11 dishes and all were fantastic. I had the baby in my lap so couldn't take photos of everything. But recommend the crab, anything with shrimp in it and the pork bun. Will be back.
