Szechuan Hot Wok
I get takeout from this place occasionally and I haven't been dissatisfied! Definitely catered towards Americans with the sweetness, flavors, etc but its not bad! I consider it as a local, cheaper alternative to Panda Express. For the price, it's hard to beat. You can get lunch specials for $7 here, and you can also order on Grubhub. So far I have tried the General Tsos and Sesame Chicken. They are both on the sweet side but I still enjoyed both! The portions are quite large too. I'm sure they have other great dishes here too.
So me and my fiancé ordered food tonight. The sesame seed chicken definitely weird The texture was almost like soggy/over cooked and the noodles definitely way over cooked it was my first time eating here and I believe it will be my last time.I usually don’t complain but we spent almost $40 and I must say the only thing that me and my family ate was there bourbon chicken that was really good.
Happy Garden
One of the most courteous service, Fried rice needs little bit more cooked . But delicious
I’ve eaten here several times now and I will admit, each and every time I’ve been good with my food. No complaints as of yet.
Hot Wok Chinese Restaurant
This is a relatively small location with limited seating, so don't come expecting large seating accommodations. As I sit here and count, seating only is for 18 total, but the food is great! Some take out Chinese restaurants have the usual food that we're used to, but some have dishes that it seems they 'specialize' in. I had the shrimp with lobster sauce and pork fried rice, and it tasted better than the average dish from other Chinese restaurants. Also, the lady who took my order was very polite and pleasant and she made a little provision for me, for which I am grateful.
Food quality has gone down hill, we order Chinese about twice a month from Hot Wok. I get the same thing every time and every time it has a different taste and presentation. Fried rice had no flavor and my General Tso was soggy, no flavor and not spicy. Their delivery driver was also rude, since I paid online he/she just sat the food in-front of my door and drove off. Didn’t ring the doorbell or anything.
