I had a light lunch at the China Wok. It's mainly a place to get take out, but I ate in. This is a very small place, only two tables, but the food is astonishingly excellent. Anyone in this area who wants Chinese takeout should definitely get their meals here. The menu is pretty extensive so they'll most likely have what you want. There's plenty of parking in the free lot out front.

Under new ownership, we tried China Wok tonight for the first time. Believe me when I say the food was fresh, generous, and outstanding. We ordered Mongolian Beef (very tender beef), chicken pad thai, tofu and vegetables, egg rolls, and crab wontons. We were shocked by how good everything was finding it hard to believe we’re still in Eldersburg! Nice touch giving us free edamame!

The online ordering process was easy, would recommend adding item descriptions to items. I also would recommend to pickup your order, since delivery service wasn’t as speedy advertised on their website. We placed our order at 5:22pm, website said expected delivery time was for 5:50pm. We decided to check on our order at 6:20pm to see if it was better for me to just pickup our order at the store. Food was delivered semi warm, i feel like would’ve been better to pickup directly. Also, a simple text/call for update would’ve been nice or possibly using an update tracker that you can view online would be another solution. Crispy beef tastes more like sweet & sour beef, still delicious overall but thinking next time I may air fry them to make them crispier when I get home. Wonton soup was ok, but next time I may try their egg drop soup instead. Egg roll was pretty restaurant standard.

🔥🐲🇨🇳Best Chinese food in Eldersburg!!! 💖🔥🔥LOVE IT! I'm so happy to find a good authentic Chinese restaurant in the Burg! Large portions and fair prices this place really impressed me with their food and good friendly service! We got the Yu Shang Beef, General Tsos Chicken, PuPu platter, Beef Yat Gar Mein (one pot noodle soup), Wonton soup and Hot and Sour soup. They gave us plenty of sauces including an entire pint of sweet and sour sauce with the pupu platter. The food was delicious not oversalted, the general tsos was perfectly cooked crispy, properly breaded with lots of sauce and some broccoli too. It was a mix of dark and white chicken meat and was juicy! The Yu Shang Beef was tender and loaded with vegetables, and the sauce was sweet but not overwhelmingly sweet. 🍖🍜 The Beef Yat Gar Mein had thick comforting wheat noodles paired with a simple yet rich beef broth, scallions and a hard boiled egg. The wonton soup had real wontons with a rich broth, scallions and sliced pork. I was pleasantly surprised by this soup and it was filling! The hot and sour soup was more on the sour side (I like it more on the hot side), but it was thick and offered plenty of bean curd and mushrooms. They make the house fried crispy chow mein for your soups. Yum! 😋 The Pupu platter had everything (2 of each item but I only show half in the photo fyi), everything was traditional and my favorite was the shrimp toast. The eggroll was crispy and perfectly fried. Lots of fresh fortune cookies too. 🥠 Plus they have valpack coupons yay!🤑 😍💖I will happily return to New Win Long next time we have a craving. It was nice and spicy just had excellent flavor with tender beef and a variety of vegetables and yummy sauce. I can't wait to try more dishes next time! 😁 Another update from Sept 9, 2024: went and got a couple lunch specials. L25 Szechuan Combo and L15 General Tso's Chicken. We got them each with wonton soup. Sooo good. They gave us so much food. We were very happy. I'd definitely recommend the lunch specials. Yummy! 😋😍💖

Unfortunately the food was absolutely disgusting. Everything that we ordered was stale and disgusting. The dumplings were like chewing gum. The lo mein was like chewing rubber. The egg rolls were frozen and then deep fried. None of the food was fresh. Never again will we waste our money. Absolutely disgusting. Go else where.

This was probably the worse pork fried rice I’ve had. No lie. I’m even more upset bc I figured a place with “rice” in the name would have great rice soooo I ordered a large with extra pork. There are little burnt black pieces, hard rice which the soy sauce wouldn’t even stick to, and a mix of old and new pork pieces. .. you can tell the pork is old bc it’s stiff and like a burgundy color. The rice has a very strange fish oil taste… tooo much. I’m so upset.

To be honest, it's really delicious. My friend's recommendation is right. The shrimps are very fresh and clean, and the service attitude is very patient. I will order food next time I pass by.

PLEASE READ. I ordered from this establishment thinking it was a chinese food spot. When I picked up my order and brought it home....I soon found out that this stuff is NO chinese food its a TRY (cry) at best. Do yourself a favor and save your money and go some place else. Very disappointed. Trying to get a refund was even more so difficult and I dont know why. I ordered geberal tso chicken and got something other than that and it didnt taste right at ALL. Check out the other food reviews. Im not alone. I wish i would have taken the time to read them.

Went here for the first time. Ordered shrimp fried rice w extra shrimp. If that was extra shrimp, I would not have been satisfied with the small amount that was provided. The rice was old and crunchy. Which was really surprising as the egg rolls were absolutely delicious. The duck sauce and mustard sauce were watery and very thin. We ordered 3 egg rolls and 1 large shrimp fried rice and one large pork fried rice. The bill was over 50 dollars. I was stunned. It was take out. The bar area was huge and inviting and was well filled. I just peeped in, so I assume that the drinks may have been good.

I had to throw the whole plate out. I couldn’t stop throwing up.

I’ve only ordered this place Ubereats. Great food! My order is always correct even with my modifications. My favorite thing, though, is that since I’ve been in Baltimore, every single Chinese spot’s shrimp reeked of ammonia. This is the first and only spot that I’ve found with fresh food!

I ordered hot and spicy chicken. It was just little strips of chicken and veggies. Not spicy and not the chicken I expected. I couldn’t finish it. Very disappointing. I wish I could share a pic. Found out how to share a pic!

Good bourbon chicken has been impossible to come by recently with the extinction of Bourbon street in the malls. I called at least 15 spots before finding Lucky Bamboo House who i was delighted to hear actually had spicy bourbon chicken. The taste was amazing and on par if not better than what i was hoping for with similarities to mall bourbon chicken that i was trying to replicate . The lo mein noodles were cooked perfectly and were full of flavor in each bite . Price was a bit high but the portion made it worth it. Will be back again and again . Highly recommend
